Days ago, Mitsu was looking through the public profiles of genin out of boredom. He then noticed that in one profile, by the last name of Kuroda, the ninja was of the same bloodline as he. He was then suddenly surprised. How could he have missed this when they entered the academy? He was always sure to check the new classes every year. He then became even more surprised when he looked at the gender. This wasn't just a ninja, it was a kunoichi, a girl! He was still trying to get over the fact that he didn't notice her before, and now this!? He was shocked, but only on the inside. Alright now, sure, I missed it somehow, but this isn't bad. Quite the opposite actually. Now, where is her address. I need to contact her soon for a meeting.

Thats when he started planning. It would be simple, a not on the door, held on by a bone dagger. He would make sure it was of a very defined shape and style. This would show as a sign as proof that a kayuga had crafted it. It would be smooth, but the blade sharp. The note would simply state to meet him the following day in a specific training area at a designated time. There, he would introduce himself.

And that is how he ended up at the edge of a training area leaning against a tree, his eyes closed. The note said it was from The White Devil. She may have heard of the name, maybe not. He could not be certain. But it wouldn't matter either way to him. At the moment, he did look the part of the title, his white cloak covering him as usual, the hood up also, as usual. The sun cast down on the ground but not upon him, as the shadow from the tree prevented it. He would wait until he heard someone approaching before looking up. For now, he would take a little rest until he heard someone coming. He had hoped she brought back the dagger he made and that she would not be late. But if she was late, it isn't like he would leave though. This meeting was important.

Hana hadn't gotten much sleep the night before. She kept having dreams about her chocolate stash being raided and never finding the culprit. It was a horrible and long night for the girl. She had laid in bed for a good twenty minutes before deciding to finally get up. She had made her way to the bathroom like a zombie. She even stumbled slightly.

She took a long shower. It seemed to wake her up a bit. She absolutely loved water. It was a great creation. It made her feel warm, powerful, and sexy. With the only thing covering her and protecting her was the warm feel of the shower droplets. She mused about a few things before finally getting out. She felt the feel of the power leave her and she sighed.

Hana got dressed in her usual kunoichi outfit. She really did love it. It showed her curves and some of her olive toned skin as well. Though it was light and breathable. Very practical for a kunoichi in the hidden leaf. Hana yawned as she scarfed down a breakfast bar. She brushed through her blond hair and groaned as she saw the dark circles under her eyes. She pattered on a bit of cover up to try to get the horrible circles to leave. Though they were still there. She continued the art of makeup to cover up the circles. Finally she was finished.

Hana headed out the door. She decided to start the day with window shopping at her favorite stores. She blinked as she shut the door. A white knife with a white paper was stuck to the door. Upon closer inspection the knife was made of bone. Hana gasped and looked around. The only people that she could see were the usual konoha citizens. She turned and inspected the note.

The note said for her to meet the person in the training area. Her eyes widened as she realized the time was for her to meet him in only ten minutes. The note was signed by The White Devil. "Who is he? White Devil? It sounds like a wanted criminal. What would a criminal want with me?!" she asked herself out loud. She was rewarded with a few people staring at her like she was crazy.

Hana looked to the dagger in her hand. It was well made. Though she couldnt' see any markings that would say that it was crafted by another knife. "Wait... isn't this... a Kaguya made weapon?" she asked herself. Her eyes widened to that of a doe caught in the headlights of an oncoming truck.

After pacing around on the street for another five minutes the girl finally decided to go meet The White Devil. Curiosity killed the cat after all. Though this was a lesson Hana had never learned. Or better yet, had never tried to learn. Once she neared the training grounds Hana became more cautious with every step.

She looked around. The only person in sight was someone leaning against a tree. He was dressed in all white. She mentally slapped herself. Of course this was the guy. She walked cautiously towards him. A look of untrust on her face.

She gathered her courage and tried to sound confident. "So you're the guy that left this on my door?" she asked holding up the dagger. The note was in her other hand. Hana noticed his eyes were closed. Almost as if he were bored and resting his eyes. She cleared her throat impatiently. Was he not taking her seriously? What if he was a psyco killer that wanted to take all her bones for himself? From what she knew of the Kaguya's they were supposed to be bloodthirsty and didn't seem to care that they raped or killed people.

Mitsu's eyes flitted open slightly as he heard footsteps approaching in front of him. He beheld a young girl with nice curves in all the right places. He kept the thoughts to himself, although the cloak he had on kept all but his eyes hidden. She asked her question and Mitsu gave himself a decision. He could remain mysterious, or just flat out introduce himself. He decided to do a bit of both. He softened his gaze and pulled down his hood and gave a charming smile. He stepped out from the shade of the tree and approached her.

"Yes, I am. Sorry about that by the way, was kind of the only way i could strike enough interest in you to actually come. Yes, I am of the same bloodline as you. If you would, I would like my dagger back if you please, I need to show you something with it." Mitsu meant no harm, and spoke in a calm, even, and warming tone. He was close enough to where he reached over and grabbed the dagger and placed it on his forearm. After focusing a little, the bone started to sink into his skin as he absorbed it. "I called to here to let you know that I can teach you more than what you know. There are far more possibilities than what extinct clan had thought of. Far more. What I just did is something you can learn. There is also more that I know, being a chuunin. But, I am not a master of this bloodline. There is still much more I could do, am still doing, have not yet thought of. That is why I think I may not truly master the bloodline. But if our kind should re group and work together, we may be able to unlock so much more. I can make many shapes with my bones, but creativity only goes so far with each person. Jeeze, I sound like some sort of enlightened person. My point I'm trying to make here is, I can teach you what I know, and maybe we can learn off of each other. Since summoning your presence here to tell you just that would be a bit pointless, perhaps I could teach you something that I know? I think teaching you how to do this..."

Mitsu took a few steps back and fell to one knee. He then closed his eyes and placed his hand on the ground and focused. He pushed his chakra into the ground, and suddenly, a spike of bone shot out of the ground. Mitsu then stood up and absorbed the spike over a few moments while his hand was placed upon it. "If you think It would be too hard to do now, I could teach you something much simpler, like this." Mitsu made a fist of his hand and long pointed bones from his knuckles grew suddenly, then absorbed them after he presented them to her. "To be honest, it took days to learn the other one. This one took not very long at all. Making the bones are one thing, learning the fighting style that best goes with it is something different. As a kaguya, at least myself personally, Fighting styles should change depending on what kind of weapon you use. I think I'll teach you the second one now. What do you say?" Phew! That was a hell of a lot more than what Mitsu usually ever says to anyone. But, he felt like she was edgy, so if he did a lot of explaining, it would calm her nerves a bit. Besides, she was...physically attractive, so impressing her was a bit of a bonus.

Once the guy took off his hood Hana's eyes widened considerably. She felt slight butterflies in her tummy. This guy was seriously good looking. Then again she was into older guys. She had once seen a picture of Jiraiya the legendary toad sage. Yeah, fifty year old guy and she still had a crush on him. Hana mentally shook herself and kept her guard up.

So what if he was good looking? This guy could have been a psycho killer from the Kaguya clan. Hana once again put her guard up. Hana was about to hand him the dagger but he didn't wait for her to hand it to him. Hana made sure not to touch him.

Hana thought for a moment. The idea of learning from him was extremely tempting. She didn't want to learn from her father. He was the only Kaguya she knew about. Keira mentally sighed. She couldn't just let her clan jutsu's and abilities go to waste.

"I suppose I'll learn from you. Though... to be honest, I don't trust Kaguya's. So if you are serious about this whole work together thing you are going to have to earn it. No offense," she added. "So yes teach me a technique today."

Hana's eyebrows were knit together as she spoke. She walked a bit closer to him and began to play with her hair nervously. Spinning a blonde strand over her index finger. She hadn't even realized she was doing it. She continued as she waited for a reaction from the guy.

The fact that she didn't trust a clan who's people had died out long ago made her seem a bit odd. Yes, they were savage, but most of them were raised that way. Thats the way Mitsu tried to think of it at least. She was going to be hard to train, that was almost certain. Then again, he had never taught anyone anything before, so maybe it wouldn't matter who he taught. Maybe she would learn faster than he. He had to learn through trial and error, and almost never had a sparring partner to become more acustomed to them. "I know this won't sound like much, especially since you don't trust me, but you shouldn't have to worry. I'm here as a mentor. There a few of those of us that are of this unique bloodline. And we have to stick together and learn, especially those whose existing parents are still clung to the savagery that has long since past. I like to think we could use these bones for helping through fighting, not because we can or for destruction. But I suppose we should get on with the training."

Mitsu held up his hand, the back of it facing her. "For this technique, you will be extending the bones in your medicarpals, also known as your knuckles. First, try just making the bones long enough. Aim for about eight inches. Its okay if you don't get it on the first few tries, it can be troublesome. I've got some other things I can teach you another time that will make this part of learning dances more easy. Now go ahead, give it a shot." While Mitsu spoke, he pointed to his knuckles. When telling her the length, the bones from his knuckles suddenly shot out to eight inches for comparison. They were dulled at the tip, as this was just an example. As he waited for her to start, he looked over her features. He made it seem like he was sizing her up, at least it should look like that from her point of view.

The guy did make sense. She supposed he did sound like he was trying to keep the peace. Should she really give him a chance? More than just to teach her techniques? He seemed honest. Though she had been fooled by older boys before. Once she had been fooled by an older boy into believing he liked her. He was only a few years older. It was quite simple really. He had told her he liked her but she had to do something for him first. The thing was that he kept telling her to steal things. Hana was a good pickpocket and with her training at the academy it was proven to be easy to steal things like magazines, cigarettes, and beer for the older boy.

The girl had been used. It had taken her about three weeks of stealing for him to finally figure out he was using her. Since then the girl hadn't really trusted older guys. After all, it seemed they only wanted one thing. And Hana was too young for them to actually think about romantically. It had hurt though she told herself that she was over it. But combine this guy being so mysterious, a Kaguya, and an older boy about seventeen or eighteen it didn't bode well.

Hana nodded as her face went stiff from concentration. She was okay with working the bones in her arms and fingers. It was using the bones in the other parts of her body that seemed to be the hardest thing to do. Hana's eyes changed like they did when she became serious. The shine and roundness changed. They became more slitted.

Hana held her hand out. She could control her fingerbones with no problem. Like popping her finger joints it was easy. Though then again she did have alot of practice since that was the technique of the Kaguya's she had practiced the most. It took Hana about three full minutes to actually be able to feel her knucklebones move under her skin. Now controlling them would be even more difficult.

It felt weird but it didn't hurt. Like popping your knuckles, just moving the bones was easy and felt different. While inside her skin she made the points sharp so they could easily slide out. It made a clean cut on the skin. Hana sucked in a breath as the bones slid out slowly.

It took another five minutes of the bones forming and reforming. Sliding in and out. Over and over again until Hana had it right. She finally got the length The White Devil had showed her. She had all eight bones sticking out. They weren't as finely formed as his were though the bones still seemed usable.

Once Hana fully got it she turned to the guy with a smile. "I did it! It didn't even hurt that much either!" Her grin was bright and her eyes shone again. They weren't as slanted as before. Though it took a moment for her to be completely carefree after such an excercise of patience and concentration.

Hana blinked and shuffled her feet. She looked down at the ground after getting a glance at his eyes. "Um, what's your real name? The White Devil isn't your real name is it?" she asked him shyly.

Mitsu soon sat down after showing her and watched as she soon got into concentration. Well, at least she is taking this part seriously. That much was a relief to him a bit. He wasn't in the mood to be interviewed by someone he offered to teach. That would be disrespectful, at least in his eyes.

The sun was still shining down, so Mitsu stuck his hood up once again, the light being angled just right to shine in his eyes without the hood. His white cloak reflected the heat, keeping him comfortable. He wasn't going to sit cross legged for very long, knowing he would get stiff from doing so. the ground was stiff but comfortable as he sat upon it, waiting for his new pupil to get a start with the new move. Since hands are used heavily, and usually bone jutsus involving the hands are first learned, this jutsu should not take long to create. But the details and finely learning the dance and locations of focused attacks would be the parts that made the training difficult. He would stay here until she had learned to properly form the bones, the style would come at a later time.

She seemed to be making decent progress, but her way of forming bones was different than hers. She would try moving the bones fist before forming them. This confused him slightly, but maybe its just the way she did things. She became cheerful once she got the right length. Mitsu then stood up and smiled a bit. But he walked over and gently grabbed her hand, holding it like it was something very fragile. He then grabbed one of the bones she had made and swiftly snapped it, near the base of where it sprouted. He then quickly did the same with the rest of them.

"That was a good start, you managed to get the right length on your first try. I'm sorry I just broke them off like that, but you need to do it again. Try focusing on more on the shape this time, rather than getting it done. Oh, and so you know, the skin parts on its own when you protrude the bones, so there isn't a need to focus on the points at the moment. We will slowly work on details but for now, you need to focus on the strength and general shape of the bone."

Mitsu then absorbed and then remade the bones from his hand, this time with blunt edges again to show her the skin naturally parted. He didn't have an explanation for it, it just did what it did. Since there was no pain involved, he didn't really care how it worked, as long as it did. "Remember to mainly focus on the strength mostly. If I can break the next set with about the same amount of effort, you will do it over again. Also, I'll apologize in advance for seeming to be a harsh teacher. For this kind of training its almost needed. Slacking will not be tolerated. Just letting you know." Mitsu then resumed sitting down, absorbing the bones again.

Hana lightly blushed as Mitsu took her hands in his. What is he doing? I-is he going to stroke my ha- she was cut off from her thoughts as he then broke her bones. Hana gasped. Not out of fear or pain. But out of just being shocked. To her it just looked brutal to be breaking someones bones.

An almost touching and bonding moment turned to something cold as Hana stared at him in slight shock. She quickly shook it off mentally and looked away as he continued. "Alright,"she mumbled. She really didn't like this guy. How he could seem gentle yet do something that just seemed wrong and cold she didn't know. She pushed different thoughts off and concentrated again.

"Just so you know... I've only trained maybe a few times with a Kaguya before. He only told me how to do the job. He didn't show me anything else besides a jutsu. I basically learned half of what I can do by just practicing by myself. I'm pretty sure I do a lot of things wrong. Any input and corrections will be a big help," she told him.

Hana began concentrating and biting her lip once more. This time she began making the bones stronger. Once she had that down the bones formed themselves as they left her body. It was much easier this time. The shape was the hardest. She was still clumsy. Even when she did the dance of camellia she wasn't able to completely make her bone the shape she had seen her father do.

This was most likely because the shaping of the bones was more of an art. Hana failed at art. Especially in Kunoichi training. Her flower arrangements? Yeah they got the worst scores. Well she thought orange and black flowers looked good together.

It took about ten minutes before she finally got the bones decent enough to pass for something that looked almost identical to The White Devils. After that she concentrated on reinforcing the bones. That was somewhat easier. She was now sure that the bones were at least as hard as some metals.

She watched as her skin parted as well. Huh. That was cool. She should have paid more attention to it before. Hana shrugged that thought off. Hana also thought that the guy was a bit harsh. She still didnt' trust him. She thought for a moment. From how he acted he didn't seem to happy to see her either. Was it because he would have rather wanted a master? Or a boy? Or even someone prettier? Was she repulsive or something?

Why she even cared what the guy thought was beyond her. She shook her head and hardened her heart. I don't even like this guy. I only want to learn jutsu. I'll just use him if that's what it takes. Hana looked at the guy with cold eyes. "So what? It's just training. You have to be harsh. It's what Kaguya's are good for," she said bitterly.

What Kaguyas are good for? This struck a nerve with him. That clan was long since gone, yet she still acts as if they are still around. How could she, a young girl, barely about the age of 16, know all about the personalities of an ancient clan? Mitsu was kinda ticked off about this, and wasn't going to let this slide. "What we're good for, huh? you think you really know all about me, just because I'm of the Kaguya bloodline? you should be considered lucky to even have a father or mother...I have none. I haven't for twelve years. All I know was that my father was a gentle and kind man and only wished to help. But you know what? He was a kaguya. I only have one little remnant of my father, a note that was left for me. It told me to use my gift to defend, not to strike fear or to hurt innocents. So if you are going to continue to judge me and my personality just because of what I can do, then I wont train you. I offered to teach you what I know. Yet you have the nerve to insult me without even knowing who I really am. I should just leave you here right now."

Yes, Mitsu was angry. If there was one thing he didn't like, is people judging others, especially when he is the one being judged, before they even know the person. But Mitsu was Mitsu, and was willing to give her a second chance...that is if she apologized. If she didn't he really would walk out on her then and there and not come back. Although it would sadden him. Finally he had found another of the same blood, yet already he might lose them. One thing he had wanted for years now was to find another like him. But if this girl was going to be a bitch, he knew he would be better off.

Hana was surpised at this. Before she hadn't even thought of his feelings. She'd spoken without thinking. It was something she did alot when she was angry. She'd let her hatred for her father get the best of her. She'd even begun to judge some guy who had even had the kindness to train her.

A wave of guilt washed over her. This guy had given her pretty much proof that not all the Kaguya's had been bloodthirsty rapists that only cared about themselves. Had his father really said that? To use his clan specialties to defend? How would she like it if the positions were reversed? If she had been the one to seek him out and try to train him?

She realized just how bratty she had sounded. Like a whiny little girl. You give her the toy at the store and a few minutes later she's acting like a brat to her mother whom bought her the toy. How was that fair? It wasn't fair in the least.

Hana took a long while to think about this. She was a stubborn girl but she also knew that being stubborn wasn't worth hurting another person. She needed to suck up her pig headed pride and deal with it. Put her big girl panties on. She'd always been proud about how mature she was but at the moment she wasn't in the least. She was acting like a six year old.

Finally Hana replied in a quiet voice. It seemed as if she squeaked it out. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have judged you like that. I'm sorry senpai," Hana apologized while looking into his eyes. Her own were filled with regret.

"My... parents aren't alive either. I'm sorry for offending you. I've only known my own father. It was wrong of me. And I'm not just apologizing because I want you to train me either. I really do mean it. I wouldn't have liked it at all if the positions were reversed."

Hana sighed and looked away. For some reason she couldn't look into his eyes for more than a few seconds. She pushed that thought off immediately. Just because he has pretty eyes doesn't mean that I can't look into them. Still she didn't dare look into them again.

"Please... continue to train me Mr. The White Flash," she said still not knowing his name.

She had been acting like a child and Mitsu sternly looked at her while he waited for her to think about what he said. Soon she came up with an answer. She seemed a bit scared, maybe a little sad too. He didn't mean to be THAT hard on her.

But, her apology seemed to be legit, so he decided to give her a second chance. She even looked into his eyes, which hid all emotions he was actually feeling at the time. He looked up at the sun for a sense of time. It hadn't been very long at all since they started. Since she apologized, they would now continue. "I'm sorry too. I didn't know your parents were dead as well. Let's just put it behind us for now. I accept your apology. Now lets get on with the training. There isn't much to add, so just do as I said and primarily focus on the strength rather than the initial shape. And As I said. If I can break them about as easily as I could last time, then it will need to be done again. If you focus on making the bones more dense, they will be stronger rather than layering them over and over. It will also take less time."

He smiled warmly as he spoke, basically starting the whole meeting thing over again. He decided that remaining mysterious wasn't going to do anything good. He had caught himself staring at her a bit. She was pretty, but a bit young for his tastes. He shifted his gaze away and pulled out a notebook from a pouch he had brought with him. It was filled with diagrams of certain poses. He had been working on other fighting styles for more bone weaponry. He was trying to find the best suited style to go with each weapon. But simple weapon styles weren't good enough for him. He had to put in types of movements, and what kind of taijutsu attacks would work with it as well. He still had bone jutsus that he hadn't developed a style with yet, which dissappointed him. He was a chuunin, yet he didn't have all of this down yet. Maybe it was because he had spent time alone too much, or perhaps gotten lazy and slacked off. probably both. Its hard to develop a style without someone to spar with. Maybe this girl could help him out, while also training her.

"By the way, I'm Mitsuhide Katsudo, but call me Mitsu. You can add sempai, sama, kun, or whatever else you'd like, but I'd prefer not."

Hana sighed in relief. At least he forgave her. She felt pretty bad. She nodded. She had to put the past behind her. If so then they could continue on. She felt awkward though. After all, she had insulted him. Most likely more than he showed.

Hana concentrated again. She frowned as she just made the bones denser. This took a bit but she finally got it after about three minutes. It was a bit easier than last time. Besides she was good at making her bones strong when she was in battle.

"Okay I got it now," she told him. She was positive he couldn't break them this time. She had made sure to make them as dense as iron. A small bead of sweat lazily made it down her forehead. The concentration was making her overheated as her body slightly heated up. Perhaps it wasn't only from the sun and concentrating on the bones in her body.

Hana blinked as he told her his name. "Okay, I'll call you Mitsu then." She caught herself looking at him and blushed. He was good looking, mysterious, and mature. Why am I blushing?! Stop it Hana!

She turned away and wiped her forehead. "Jeez, this concentration thing makes you kind of hot. It makes my blood beat a bit faster," she told him chuckling slightly. "Does this ever happen to you?" she asked.

Hana blew out a breath and tried to blow the hair out of her face. She had been doing that a few times. She finally sighed and pulled a rubber band out of her pocket. There she pulled her hair back. Her blue eyes glinted in the sunlight more. They were only accented by her light purple eyeshadow.

He sat down again for a few minutes. she was taking it slowly, which was a good sign that she was focusing on what he told her to do. At least she was trying. That was definitely a good start. He then pulled out his notebook and pencil again and began writing down notes about possible improvements or inclusions for his fighting styles. He decided for this session he would focus on what to do with the gauntlets. They would basically give him claws, meaning he would not really have the comfort of keeping a decent distance. Aiming for the chest seemed to be a smart place to make the central area of attack. Consisting of slashes and jabs would also suffice mostly. Considering that they would be as strong a bones, trying to throw in some punches by modifying the knuckles to have spikes would add a bonus to damage infliction. Once he had this written down, Hana appeared to be finished.

"Alright then, let's have a look." Mitsu stood up and put his notebook and pencil away and walked over. Again he held her hand so tenderly and grasped one of the bones with the other. Indeed she had made them stronger, but they still weren't strong enough for him to break. Mitsu knew how all the bones in the human body worked, so he knew how to break each one effectively. He then snapped the bone and it made a loud cracking noise. His expression didn't change from hearing the sound, as that was familiar to him, and was oblivious to the fact that it might sound a bit gruesome to her, so he didn't apologize. They were not as strong as his, but they were the right strength for her level, especially the first time. These would definitely be hard to break normally.

"Very good! They are much stronger now! That amount of strength for them at your level shall suffice. Now to work on the shape more. We want long straight bones, like a pole, not coned ones. So focus on keeping them straight, but try to keep the strength about the same. It is okay if you end up sacrificing a bit of strength to get the shape right, so feel free to make them thinner or thicker if you wish. The trick is finding the right thickness, but you will get it eventually. Now to show you something so that you do not need to constantly break your bones to start over. Start imagining your knuckles are filled with acid, that you are trying to dissolve the bones that you have just made, while slowly trying to draw them back in. Take as long as you like until you have absorbed them. Then go back to working on shape."

Mitsu stepped back and went back to his notebook again while she would be doing that. He would watch her for a bit, at least to get the absorbing started. He looked up at the sky, which was clear and blue. He liked the color of the sky, it was nice to look at. But for now, he turned his attention back to Hana in case she needed help.

Hana blushed again as he touched her hand tenderly. Why couldn't she just control herself? Her heart was beating faster. She winced again as he broke her bones. It wasn't like it hurt. But it just... made her uneasy.

She couldn't help the huge grin that crossed her face as he praised her. Her heart warmed at the thought. Her eyes lit up and her cheeks reddened even more. Praise definitely worked for her when she did something right. Mitsu was a pretty good teacher.

Hana listened to Mitsu's advice. "Absorb the bones? Okay, I'll do my best," she said hoping to make him smile. She watched as he went back to his notebook. Her face fell slightly. She had wanted him to give her his full attention. She sighed and went back to concentrating on her work.

Little did she know that Mitsu had turned back to her once she had turned her head. As she was staring at her hands her mind wandered slightly. Why did she want his attention and praise? Was it just because he was a cute guy? Most likely. Though he was really mysterious too. The thing about Hana was, she loved mysterious things. The moon, Icha Icha Paradise, all kinds of mysterious things. She couldn't buy that book at the store. She was too young, or so said everyone.

Hana shook her head and continued on with thoughts of absorbing her bones. She imagined her knuckles were full of hot, green acid. Acid that was so acidic that it could eat through any type of metal. Even adamantium.

She didn't sweat this time since her hair was put up in a ponytail. Which showed the curve of her neck more and her eyes. She was also able to think a bit more clearly without the extra heat from her hair. Her blue eyes glinted with concentration.

Once she thought she had the image in her head she began to slowly retract the bones. Bringing them back into her body. She wondered if anyone watching would think it weird. To be honest, using bones as weapons seemed like something forbidden. Even at the academy she was treated differently when she showed a friend of hers, how she could do the drilling finger bullets. The girl was freaked to say the least.

Hana continued watching her knuckles and imagining the acid. This took a bit longer since her thoughts wavered thinking she wasn't doing it right. But finally after some time Hana was able to retract the claws more. It seemed her bones were breaking down somehow. That they were being "absorbed" like Mitsu said. She continued to concentrate hoping to get the bones back in fully.

It took twenty minutes to finally get the process right. Hana was growing a bit tired. She had learned two things in one day and her emotions were all over the place as she stressed over trying to learn something, impressing Mitsu, and growing frustrated at the amount of time it took to reabsorb her bones. Finally she had the bones back in her body. She shrugged her shoulders to get the kinks out. "Was that good, Mitsu?" she asked him turning.

He was attentive to all of Hana's actions. Sure, it took awhile, as expected. It took him even longer to get it right, considering he had no help of his own. After about five minutes he started looking every so often, glancing between her and his notes. His mind was mostly drawing a blank, thinking of a taijutsu move to put in here and there with the gauntlets. But as he was glancing more and more, she looked rather...oldish to still be a genin. It looked like she would be a chuunin, maybe a C rank...and yet her profile said she was a D rank...she must have matured early.

Hmm, she really is putting effort into this. She is even progressing faster than I had. Perhaps its because she has a teacher? Or does she possibly have more potential than i do? Well for now, its far too early to tell. I'm sure we will be able to teach each other and grow strong together. Heh, even now she is about half way done. Hmm...Half way....That sounds like a good idea! Mixing weapon styles! Even the weapons themselves! Brilliant Mitsu! Brilliant!

Mitsu smiled and then began furiously writing down ideas as they flooded in. I've got to try these out sometime soon! If I train her, perhaps I could train myself with the new styles...Looks like she isn't going to be the only one learning. Mitsu kept writing and writing, making sure to glance up to check up on Hana's progress. "Was that good, Mitsu?" His thoughts were interrupted by her talking and he wrote down the main idea he had gotten and underlined it, to be sure he wouldn't forget later. He then marked the page and stood up, looking at her hands.

"Hmm...Yes! Well done! You've managed to completely reabsorb the bones! Now, you can do that with any bones you yourself make okay? Even ones you've completely removed, but those will be harder. Just know, the more you absorb your bones, the easier and faster it will get. Now, do as I said before and focus on shape. It will be okay if you end up sacrificing a bit of the strength to get the shape right. If you want, I could show it to you again and let you study it more if it will help. What do you say?"

Hana smiled and sat down next to Mitsu for a moment. She loved it when he praised her. Maybe if she worked real hard she'd be able to impress him more. She pulled the ponytail out of her hair and wiped her face.

She decided to talk to him a bit before getting back into it. "Yeah, let's do it. Hey, Mitsu. Since we're going to be training together. I was wondering if you would tell me about yourself a bit. I'll tell you a bit about me too. I'm fourteen. Though I'll be fifteen pretty soon. My birthday is coming up. My hobby is swimming. My favorite color is blue. I also love to read. What are your favorite books Mitsu?

Hana waited to hear what he had to say. Then she put her hair back in her ponytail and stood up. She stretched a bit and cracked her shoulders. She then walked a bit away from Mitsu and began to concentrate again.

This time was a bit easier. She began to bring the bones out of her fingers. She made them as strong as she could. Just about as strong as last time. And then she began to mold and shape the bones. This time it took the longest. Almost forty minutes of trying to shape the bones correctly. She did practice absorbing the bones as well when she made a mistake.

Reworking things took alot of effort and time. It was later in the day. Around four when she finally squealed in delight. "Mitsu! I think I got them right! They look almost exactly like yours did! At least I think they do..." she said trailing off not sure of herself anymore.

Mitsu called on the bones again, but only with one hand, ejecting the bones. "Just look at these for a decent shape. If you insist about the exchange of personal information, then I suppose I shall considering you have done so already. I am seventeen, my hobby is stargazing without the interruptions of society. I also like reading, but usually its information based, not fantasy. At least until I get all my techniques I currently have in mind worked out that is. As for a favorite color, I'd have to say purple. It has that royal feeling about it. It isn't seen often and tends to be subtle at first. others are noticed then tired of quickly. Purple is noticed afterwards. As for books again, mine are mostly information based, so I don't really have a favorite one. Thats all the information you gave, so I guess I'll stop there for now."

He wasn't too keen on giving out information just yet. Her 'questions' were general information, nothing serious, so he was okay with that much. He sat down for a third time and began writing more into his notebook. He was resuming his mass of ideas that had been flowing through. He was thinking which weapons would go with another, seeing which would compliment another the best.

Being sure not to completely neglect his new student, he decided to glance up every so often to see he progress. She was taking her time again, which still was a good sign. Her will to learn was good enough for him. I guess she isn't going to be that hard of a student to teach...seems like I may have lucked out. She started her excited banter once she was finished and Mitsu put his things away. After walking over and a close inspection of her work, he noticed that they were pretty accurate to what he had made.

"Excellent! You seem to have gotten pretty close. But, that took way too long for you to use it in combat, which is fine. I want you to practice a little bit by yourself until you can make it within eight seconds. Make sure the shape and strength do not falter either. But for now, I think we are done for the day. I have some things I need to look into before the day is out. So sorry to leave so suddenly. You did give me an excellent idea though for something, so I have that to thank you for." Mitsu reached into his pocket and pulled out a slip of paper. "Here is my contact information. If you even need to speak with me, just use what is written. Otherwise, we meet again here in one week to resume. For now, I'm off." He gently took her hand and kissed the top of it. "It was a pleasure to meet you Hana. I must be going now." Mitsu then jumped into the tree behind him and was off to his home to finish up more on some notes and to mark down that he had to leave days open for training with his new student. He had a feeling that the future was going to have some good things in store for him.

Hana was a bit disappointed as she listened to Mitsu. He told her the information but he just seemed so formal. She awkwardly nodded as he spoke. She wasn't sure about Mitsu. Was he just formal by nature? Was he just a cold person? Or did he really just not care about her at all? Or at least care about making conversation.

So he liked stargazing? That sounded better than everything else he said. Well it just popped out to her. Perhaps one day they could hang out together and watch the stars. It did seem to be a nice thing to do.

Hana listened to what he had to say. She nodded as he explained that she needed to improve her speed. She was sure that with practice she would be able to do it. Her face fell slightly as he said they were done for the day.

She gave him an idea? She wondered what it was. She decided to ask him another time. She took the piece of paper from Mitsu and held it tightly. She didn't want to lose it. So she had to wait a whole week to see him again? That really sucked. But at least he wanted to see her again.

Hana blushed bright red as he kissed her hand. "Y-yeah, nice meeting you too..." Hana replied. She watched as he took off jumping from tree to tree to who knew where. Once he was out of sight Hana stared at her hand and turned a brighter red.

She stood there for a full five minutes before shaking her head and slowly walking off towards her house in a daze. She didn't even notice her stomach rumbling or people that bumped into occasionally on the streets. No, she was more concentrated on Mitsu. The person stuck in her head at the moment. She knew he was going to be the only thing she thought about that day.
