|  Name: Ninja Tool PouchOwner: Hatake GaeulLocation: Back, right hand side along his waist.Rank: EHistory: Like many other ninja, Gaeul received a basic pack of ninja tools at some point in his life to aide him in learning the general basics of being a ninja. Graduating from paper toys in mock play of being ninja to the real thing, Gaeul is proficient with the basic ninja tools. Though the pack is full of fairly common tools, Gaeul has made some additions to it that make it a little more unique than the standardized one. He keeps his tools in top condition, inspecting them before leaving his apartment and giving them the proper care needed when he returns to his apartment. Gaeul makes it a top priority to make sure he replenishes his tools as needed as he knows that though the weapons are simple and mundane, they can be of great use in any battle and it is better to have some than none at all.Purpose: A standardized ninja pouch that every ninja has. Contains the basic tools of the trade: shuriken (x 40), kunai (x 20), makibishi (x 20), explosive tags (x 30), exploding pouches (x 25), smoke grenade (x 2), flash bombs (x 5), and senbon (x 40). Additional items in stock in accordance to Gaeul’s usage are spools of wire 20m long (x 2), simple rolls of bandages (x 2), and a small container of healing salve to treat minor wounds. Note: Exploding Pouches as defined by leafninja—“A variation on the exploding note, these small pouches can be attached to a target and then explode a few seconds later.” Name: Healing SalveOwner: Hatake GaeulLocation: Within Gaeul’s Ninja Tool Pouch.Rank: DHistory: Gaeul, seeing as how he wasn’t a medical ninja and neither of his teammates or sensei being one, decided to simply go out and buy something that would be of use from one of the local herb shops in Konoha. The salve has proven to be quite useful to Gaeul during his training as he often wound up with minor scrapes and bruises, but he has yet to test out the effectiveness of the salve when it comes to more serious wounds—injuries he would be more likely to obtain in the real world of being a Shinobi. He makes it a point to replenish the salve every few days, depending on how much he’s used and plans to look into a stronger salve once he’s experience the life of a ‘real ninja’.Purpose: A small container of natural medicinal herbs that can help reduce bleeding, prevent infection, and help aide one’s body to begin healing. It has very poor affects though, so it’s not very useful in applying it to wounds more serious than minor cuts, aches, and bruises; although, it’s ability to help clot blood and prevent infection may still be useful for more serious wounds, it’s only a matter of how large the wound is as the salve really was only meant for minor, everyday, non-ninja combat wounds that the average civilian might run into in his day to day life. Name: Hatake TantoOwner: Hatake GaeulLocation: Strapped to Gaeul’s back similar to how the ANBU wear theirs.Rank: D - BHistory: It is unknown when exactly the Hatake began to re-forge the special tantos that enable them to emit their white chakra in mass numbers, but they have done so and it is not uncommon to find a member of the Hatake Clan with their own tanto. Gaeul has his own tanto, typically strapped to his back in a manner much like the ANBU have theirs. However, Gaeul has only been given the tanto and has not yet fully mastered Kenjutsu or learned to make full usage of the ‘chakra conductive’ part of the blade, thus it only functions as a regular tanto.Purpose: The tantos are much like any other weapon, only that when a member of the Hatake Clan allows their chakra to flow into the blade or come in contact with the blade, instead of the natural blue color chakra emits, it will become white. The user can actually emit a powerful white chakra from the blade that will not only extend the tanto’s range, but its power as well. However, it seems that not every member can do this to begin with. Until the member actually learns how to use the tanto correctly (having to be taught by an elder, more experienced member), the blade functions normally and will not emit white chakra—no matter how many times the user tries to imbue the blade with their chakra, thus the initial ranking at D. Once they progress to a C rank level of mastery, white chakra can begin to coat the tanto’s blade, but the user won’t be able to ‘send out a wave of white chakra’ until they’ve come to have experience with the blade enough to unlock it’s full potential. |
