History:
As Kishiro entered the Bear Country, he was already known throughout the ninja world. Despite his young age of 26 years, he was a legendary philosopher and a ninja known for fighting without killing, but instead striving to learn and understand the nature and it's elements. After having traveled throughout most of the lands, ever since he was a young boy, Kishiro felt as if he was unable to fulfill his life. No matter where he went, he couldn't live in peace. Endless questions about endless things haunted him, making him keep moving around while seeking answers. His ultimate goal was to be able to capture an element and make it his to control. But using the way of peace in every conflicts is a surprisingly easy way to gain enemies. People with too great prides wouldn't take it lightly if he refused to fight with them.

Now in the Bear Country, Kishiro's name wasn't that well known. And as he sought isolation, living alone in a hut, it seemed he had found the perfect place. Now he was free to test and experiment with his skills and fusing them together with the elements of the nature. But no matter how close he got to his goal, then there was always a piece missing. It was difficult making a research like that alone, and he couldn't quite figure out which element was easiest to bend according to his will. It wasn't until one day where a woman appeared at his door, that Kishiro understood what it might have been he had lacked. Now at the age of 30, he had spent 4 years in studying and training in isolation. But this young woman who had entered his life was going to give him the solution quicker than he would have expected.

She wouldn't give her name, and she wouldn't say why she was there, so he was safe to assume that she was fleeing from someone. No questions really needed to be asked though, as he found out that this woman was very smart and indeed a very skilled ninja. Unlike him, who had water as his dominant element, she had fire. And she without doubt started to help him out with his researching. Not 2 months had passed until they had realized that they were in love, and with the help of that deep feeling and connection between them along with her mastery of the fire element, Kishiro finally got to complete his goal. He had created a way to actually be able to have an element that was controllable through emotions, and even something one could consume in order to regain strength. But it seemed that the elements varied a lot. As fire was something which was more easy to become one with, while wind and lightning were a bit toughter. It seemed as if it would either be impossible or take a great deal of work and training to get such deep connection to water or earth.

But that was the origin of the Ho-Oo clan. They married 1 month after the solution had come, and a year later the first child was born into the Ho-Oo clan. As a result of a new clan being born, then naturally it was gunned at from some shady directions. It was foolish to even try to give out your name to strangers. Normally, before one of the Ho-Oo get married, their spouse must go through a ritual, to see if he or she can be accepted into the clan, and learn their spouses and families name

~ Today ~

Due to tragic events, caused by ugly jealousy and hatred which are both so common within the human hearts, it seems that the Ho-Oo clan was destroyed for the most part. The only known remaining survivors are resided in Konoha village under the names of Elena and Ariana Sigmund. Only the Hokage knows their true identity, and has sworn to a secrecy for it is quite the risk that this clan will become extinct if the wrong people heard of the two young women.

Special Info:
Where other clans may focus on the usage of Advanced Elements in combinations to form entirely new elements, the Ho-Oo Clan focuses on mastery of the five base elements. The most common element among the clan is fire, yet wind and lighting users are not unheard of. Earth and water users are rare. This mastery is such that their element attacks are doubled in strength than the letter rank of the jutsu used (D rank fire jutsu equals the power of 2 D rank jutsu,etc) and their elemental attacks are more inclined to win conflicts with other elemental attacks (dependent on rank and elemental advantage).

A further degree to their mastery is that they become so intune with their elements that the elemental chakra responds to their emotions, specifically anger, fear and similar emotions to increase the element's power. This includes an increase of one rank to the jutsu being used or in some situations, the user will unconciously create the dominant element on their skin.

Furthermore, their elemental mastery extends to an entirely new ability, which allows the members of the clan to absorb attacks of their dominant element. At lower ranks (D-B) it can only be absorbed in a similar manner to eating the attack, but at higher ranks (A-S) it can be absorbed through contact alone. The absorbtion is only applicable on jutsu of equal rank to the user as they cannot absorb anything of higher rank than them. Once absorbed, the energy can be used to replenish the clan member's chakra (at the same level of the jutsu absorbed. D rank jutsu absorbed = D rank chakra gained) or it can be used to heal the target/replenish stamina (the higher rank the jutsu, the more healing occurs). D ranking jutsu healing minor scratches. C-B ranking jutsu healing small cuts and other minor wounds. A+ healing more severe wounds and broken bones.

Regarding elements being linked to emotions, it only heightens the strength of their techniques, correct? It doesn't respond to emotions in a way where they'll unexpectedly and unintentionally use elemental chakra?

When the user unconsciously creates their dominant element on their skin, in what kind of situations would this happen and what kind of effect does this have on them/others?


The elemental chakra absorbtion is debatable as chakra absorbtion itself is a banned technique.

But, say it is allowable:

• The chakra replenished, shouldn't it be the particular elemental chakra you absorbed? i.e. You absorb a D Rank fire tech, you get back D Rank fire tech chakra.
  
  
• How can the absorbed chakra be utilized for healing if your character doesn't actually know any healing techniques or isn't familiar with it?

As stated the only effects are the increase in power and the unconcious manifestation of the element.

The element does not harm the user themselves. When others come in contact they will be inflicted by whatever element. [Burned if fire, shocked if lighting, etc] The unconcious creation of the element occurs in intense situations of fear [i.e life or death situations of the user, someone the user is close to], Anger [extreme anger, similar to when Naruto gains the kyuubi cloak, but to a lesser extent.], and extreme hate/similar intense negative emotions. It is similar to a fight or flight reflex.

Given the limitations, Kiyoshi himself said he was cool with the absorbtion given that it must be their dominant element and only equal to their rank. Both the chakra absorbtion techniques are banned because of either they absorb any technique with no reprecussions or they draw chakra out of the target. This level of absorbtion relies on contact with the technique, rank and element.

Given that elemental chakra can be converted into normal chakra by the user of the technique. It is plausable to absorb elemental chakra and convert it to normal chakra, however because it is not of the user's chakra signature it would be difficult to absorb. So would it be more reasonable to say.
"By using their natural elemental advantage against techniques of their dominant element, the members of the clan are able to break down the element of a technique before they absorb it, gaining pure non-elemental chakra. However given that it is not of their own chakra signature, they only recieve one rank of chakra less than the technique. [D rank absorbed=E rank Gained]"

Because once the chakra is absorbed, it increases the user's stamina. [Spirit energy and Stamina being the two components of chakra], it is similar to how the Akimichi clan pills convert fat reserves into chakra which increases strength, speed, and stamina. Where as this just absorbs the chakra and converts it to stamina. The increased stamina heals wounds in amounts related to the chakra which was originally absorbed. [Which is similar to how Gaara was revived by Chiyo and Naruto by giving him their chakra]

Would've preferred it if the creator had answered/explained herself, but whatever.
