| "To the skies, Takahiro." With one smooth motion Izumi thrust her raised arm into the air as the falcon on her forearm. The bird's raised wings spread as he was thrown into the air. He then proceeded to flap to gain air and was off into the skies. Izumi could only watch as Takahiro's wings pumped and as he moved about so freely. To her, flying was a lot like swimming except just replace air with water. Problem is she has never flown before so she wasn't sure if her theory was accurate or not. She's contemplated on riding Raiden's back or Shikatsu's to get an idea of what flying feels like but she just has yet to do it. Shikatsu has the temper of a bull sometimes and he'll crash right through you if he feels like it too. Only she has been able to tame the beast but even still he could change his mind last minute. Last time she pummeled him till he listened. She was unsure what it would take to get him to listen this time had he turned a new leaf. The likelihood was rather high actually. On the other side, Raiden, whom was the ex-boss before Shikatsu showed up, was still rather distant minded. He acted like his mind was sealed away and he would obey everything she said to him but she didn't wish for him to feel any lower than what he may now if she rode on his back. It wasn't like she could ask, he wouldn't respond. Actually, she wondered if he could even feel all together. She needed to figure out how Shikatsu sealed him and break it. Raiden had to be a greater force than his mindless state now. Tuck, turn, and dive. Takahiro continued to fly circles around Izumi as she watched. He was stretching his wings, like falcons should do every day, and performing a few tricks at the moment. He loved to spiral at a high speed before turning his body downward and drilling towards the ground. At the last minute he would open his wings and flip his body. Sometimes he would swoop right back up and others he would land and push himself back. The later though took away some grace though so he preferred to not touch the ground. While Takahiro was at work, Izumi stretched her arms and legs a little as well. She ran in place for a few seconds as well. Her daily training kept her in shape though so the little stretches weren't always necessary but decent to have. It was also a way to kill time as she waited for Takahiro to finish up flying. A cry sounded from the sky to catch Izumi's attention. She stopped stretching and turned her head to see someone approaching. She didn't get the sense this person was a threat and the tall figure was rather familiar. Takahiro sounded another cry, one saying whom it was. This only made Izumi smile with warmth and love. It was Shi. But what was he doing here out of the office? Her smile turned to a curious and confused face then. Before a series of questions could cross her mind and flood her thoughts she would greet him first and wait for his response. "Shi? I thought you had some important papers to work on today. Something come up?"She didn't want to come off rude because she honestly loved it when she could spend more time with him outside the office. They had not done much together since he was always so busy and whenever he may have been free, which was rare, she was almost always away on a mission or something. An occurrence like this was rare for normally he would send someone to get her, not show up himself. Was this important business which called for him to deliver the information himself or was this something else? She wasn't sure, but she was obviously about to find out. |
