“Well hello there Ikko…”

His hand snapped to the kitchen knife on the counter as he whipped his body around, palming the blade in his hand, artfully keeping it hidden as he held it flat against his hand, the cool metal of the blade lining against his wrist. His eyes darted around the large apartment, searching for the source of the words. “Who’s there?!” he growled out loudly to the seemingly empty apartment, as he looked around, the only thing he saw was himself reflected back in the mirrors and glass within the large apartment. His eyes darting around the room again and his hand tightening around the handle of the small knife, it took him several moments to calm his nerves and only after several more times of his eyes sweeping across the apartment could he return to the cooking. If there was anyone else in the apartment, (although Michio was sure that there wasn’t) they would easily see that he was perhaps more than a bit high strung tonight. He was jumpy, his muscles tensed, ready to snap into movement at the slightest noise, he certainly lacked his usual grace as he attempted to cook. His hands lacked their usual steadiness as he pushed the knife into the orange vegetable underneath it, the knife spamming slightly under the shaky nature of his hands before he finally forced the knife through it where the blade would collide with the wooden board beneath it, the resulting thump echoing through the apartment.

“Oh I think you know who’s here…”

Michio didn’t waste a second, even in his tense state, he was still expertly trained and he found his body turning on instinct, his hand snapping out at the origin of the voice, not even looking as the knife was launched, whistling through the air on its rapid travel. His trained hand had launched the blade at such an angle that it would bury itself directly into the torso of a person of the average height and he brought his eyes up expecting the low whistle of the blade to be replaced with other sounds, expecting to see the intruder dead on the ground. Yet there was no sound of the blade burying itself into someone’s chest, no scream of pain, there was nothing but the rush of shattering glass as the blade caused the glass divider between rooms to break, the shards of glass raining onto the wooden floors and splintering into a million pieces.

“Oh come now, you didn’t expect that to work did you? I would think you’d know better than that. I know you wouldn’t think something that simple would work on the man who taught you everything you know…or have you really fallen that far?”

There it was again… the voice, smooth, elegant, darker than Michio’s and less crass than Yuushu’s, but carrying the elements of both…he knew this voice well, he’d heard it many times throughout his life, even when he didn’t know where it came from. Michio wasted not a second this time, as soon as the sentence had begun he spun facing the direction, this time not letting his mind cloud his judgment. And that...was when he saw it. In the mirror near his bed, stared his own reflection back at him… and yet it wasn't completely his own. To most it would take a close inspection, but Michio knew without even needing a second look, the man looking back at him in the mirror was not completely his own. There were a great many similarities, that much was true, but the man in the mirror seemed to keep himself more regal, as if he was royalty from times of old, determined to rise himself above those around him in mannerisms alone. ”It took you far too long to see me Ikko…” the man in the mirror did not flinch as Michio suddenly appeared in front of the reflective surface, his body tense again, ready to pounce on anything or anyone that caught him off guard. ”That isn’t my name!” his voice came out in a threatening growl at the reflection. What was this? What was going on? How was this possible? ”Oh but it is, don’t you remember what I told to you after you plunged that sword of yours into my chest? Just after that moment when you made up your mind to kill me?”

The words brought Michio back a step, he had been though situations like this before, where things might whisper in his ear, voices that no one could hear, but what was this? He had never gotten to the point where he'd seen anything, but there was no way that anyone besides himself and one other could get in this apartment without the entire building locking down...and there was this man, in his mirror staring at him, this man Michio was certain he had killed. ”Did you really believe I would die so easily?” The mirror man let out a dark laugh, a laugh disturbingly similar to Michio’s, so similar that a chill ran through him, he hated this connection between the two of them, he hated it with every fiber of his being… and yet there was nothing he could do about it, it was a connection…a birthright he was forced to bear. ”Oh you’ve finally come to accept it?” a smirk grew on the face of the figure in the mirror and once again Michio found his own face reflected back at him in the similarities. ”You have haven’t you? You’ve come to accept who I am yes? ” Michio couldn’t move to give any sort of response, “I mean did you really think you would be rid of me that easily? I mean… I’ve manipulated nearly every sequence in your entire life and you think I wouldn’t be able to avoid my own death? How idiotic, I expected better of you Ikko”

"THAT IS NOT MY NAME!" As the man spoke Michio found the control over his own body returning slightly, his emotions burning under the surface and with sheer will be broke free of the trance, is anger exploding over for the first time in a long while. As he screamed, his brought his fist forward, colliding with the mirror in front of him and causing it to shatter with the force. He knew that others, below him, or outside might have heard the yell, but there was little he cared about at this time. ”Im not…” he spoke quietly, barely a whisper as he leaned against the cool glass panel next to the balcony door, his anger quickly abating as he took deep breaths. Lost in what had just happened. He didn’t even bother to make any movement, not even attempting to clean up the glass from the several panels he had broken, he just let the shards lay there on the floor… someone would get them later. Anyone outside could've heard him talking to the man...or was he just talking to himself...either way Michio didnt care, he had thought that things were finally going according to his plan and yet…there was the man…Tetsui… his father. And after this confrontation, could he really believe that things were going according to -his- plan? Or was he merely just a pawn in a larger game.

Ms. Nichiyōbi

She had an itch. Not a normal itch where it could be relieved with a simple scratching of ones nails and then be done with it. No, not that simple at all. She had an itch to slice up something, she wanted to burn down houses.. hear screams. She wanted to be pleaded with. She needed something to stabilize herself. Her head was ringing, the headache was starting to get worse by each minute and each hour she waited. How long had it been since she saw Michio? A few days? One day? A week? She couldn't tell. Everything was so fuzzy.. everything was blurred and unfocused inside her head. Each thought dragged on, like it took it a long time to get processed. Her steps were slow, but determined. Satsuriku hated this. She hated this so much. She should just kill that man right now and end whatever cycle he had started. How dare he anyways to get her this strung up on him? Who did he think he was?

"Haha..ha....haha.." A loud bang echoed throughout the streets, those few bystanders which had been curiously watching the tall green haired woman, all fled after having started with disbelief for a few seconds. With a single thrust to the side, she had rammed her head against a stone wall, so hard that a crack appeared up the brown wall. But it didn't stop the headache.. which was kind of to be expected. With a small scoff she pulled back, before starting to walk again. A little bit faster this time. There wasn't any sign of that headbutting to be seen on her, as she had far gone beyond that limit of such simple injuries to show on her smooth skin.

Stopping outside the big and flashy apartment, a new scowl set itself on her features, and the young woman turned to leave. But instead stopped, waited, listened. Did she hear voices? Was there someone up in the apartment with Michio? The curiosity pulled at the unwilling woman, making her take a few more stiff steps as she halted underneath the balcony. This place really was fitting for the Leader of the village. Flashy, expensive, with lots of needless crap as decorations. Her knees bent a little, and with that she jumped upwards, somehow managing to find an invisible hold on the wall as she started to climb up it at a rapid speed. The balcony was within grasp only a few seconds later, and she took a firm grip before swinging herself up on them without any sound. For a second, she stood motionless, her senses open to anything. Her golden eyes also completely still, as she was sure she had been spotted. It was always a real pain in the ass to try and sneak up on Michio, as he -always- seemed to know. Damn smartass.

But instead of hearing nothing as she had expected, she could hear the sound of someone breathing. It was the breathing of someone that was in a slight distress, and then without warning, the voice of her Leader rang out in a scream, followed by a shatter of glass being broken. "THAT IS NOT MY NAME!" This was.. surprising.. confusing.. and weird. She had in fact never heard him raise his voice like that before. Never heard this kind of tone, this .. desperate and angry tone like he was losing in some argument. But the weirdest part was that she had heard no other voice, and there was no other presence to be spotted. A soft whisper had followed the commotion, words being said which she couldn't completely comprehend. Risking being noticed, she moved inch by inch, until she could see the grey haired man as he was leaning against the glass panel which was pretty close actually to where Satsuriku was. Broken pieces of a mirror were scattered on the floor, and with a small frown, Satsuriku kept scanning the surroundings. There truly wasn't anyone else there. Was her Leader losing it? Had he taken too much in too short of a time? She knew very well that she couldn't call anyone crazy without sounding hypocritical, but right now she really doubted that there was much of sense going on in the man's mind. Was it even safe to let him see her? Bah.. like I am scared of him. Her pride rung out, making her back stiffen a bit as she bit back the small fear that had threatened to creep up her spine. Satsuriku didn't fear anything or anyone, and least of all was she going to start fearing a man that might be just as crazy as she herself was.

"Neh, what's up with that? Do you know how much the person who made that mirror would cry if they saw this destruction?" Her voice had that usual tone of sarcasm and humor tinting it, but there was also a small alarming tone to it this time. Her slender form was stiff, as she was ready to bolt in whatever direction if the man would lung at her. If there was one thing she had learned from living with craziness for a few years, was that it couldn't be trusted.

Slowly while keeping her golden eyes glued to him, in a casual way of course so he wouldn't think she actually felt like she had to be careful, Satsuriku slid inside the apartment and looked quickly around. "Are you alone? Whom were you talking to?" He probably knew her more than she guessed, so he could guess that her un-trusting nature was kicking in right now. It was like she refused to open up to anyone, and especially Michio, as she stubbornly clung to her pride and secrets. But now she wondered if perhaps she had been mistaken and there truly had been someone else in that room. Someone... else... yes. Perhaps another female? If he is fucking some whore, he better not let me have some disease. Her teeth were bit hard together, but in the midst of her beginning jealous thoughts, she had to admit to herself that it seemed unlikely. First of all since her 6th sense in her gut had from the start told her that there was no one else in there, and second because she couldn't smell anything in the air. No perfume, nothing that indicated the bodily smell of anyone else than Michio and now herself.

Peeking around the corner, she spotted more broken glass and whistles softly before turning again towards the grey haired man. "What the Hell are you doing? What happened here?" A soft chuckle escaped her, a dangerous glint entering her luminous golden eyes as she took a step closer. "Don't tell me you are losing it? Does the job of a Leader take a bit bigger toll than you had thought? Perhaps too much responsibility for one guy?" Survival of the fittest. The guideline she lived by. If someone showed a weakness, it should be pressed and prodded. If they responded accordingly, they were deemed someone that was indeed weak. Weak.. weak.. and what happened to those that were weak? They got killed and eaten by those who were stronger. It was like her first reaction to every person that showed the least bit of a soft or weak side. Even if Michio was probably the closest person she had, if not only for the sex, she still had that predatory look on her face.

She spoke from the balcony, "Neh, what's up with that? Do you know how much the person who made that mirror would cry if they saw this destruction?", she carried the same tone she always did, despite the obvious oddity of the situation, that blend of sarcasm, teasing you with a bit of humor, it did well to mask what Michio noted about her, she was tense, be it from the situation she had just encountered, lack of sleep, or their own absence from each other, he wasn’t entirely sure. She spoke again as she slid into the room, "Are you alone? Whom were you talking to?" she looked at Michio before glancing around the room. It all felt to controlled and different from her normal actions for Michio who hadn’t spoken when the green haired woman had first come in in from the balcony, he made no speech, but she would easily note the growl resounding from his chest, his anger flaring a bit as she showed up. ’Of course she would come now..’ He had seen her come up, it was one of the beauties of the glass panel such as this, and they allowed him to see everything when the shades weren’t down, something which was very helpful. Despite his anger at her appearance, he found his eyes following her as she moved; raking across her form… it had been some time since he had seen her. “There is no one here besides the two of us” He spoke, carefully guiding his voice into the usual tone of cool certainty. He ignored the second question and in truth, only partially answered the first…he was having a hard time telling if they were really alone and as for who he was talking to…well that was the quite the question wasn’t it. Just –who- was he talking to? Even he wasn’t entirely sure what had just occurred. He wasn’t even sure it was entirely over.

”Why don’t you tell her about me?”His eyes snapped around the room in a quick flick before locking themselves on Satsuriku as she moved. He was here again, Michio could feel it, but he knew it wouldn’t be safe to let Satsuriku have any hint of what was happening, but could he wasn’t sure he could contain himself. "Why don’t you tell her about -us-?" the voice of Tetsui spoke again, teasing, goading as he tried to get a reaction from Michio. ’Us…?’ Michio stood up straight, moving away from the wall, trying to keep the movement to appear casual. He knew what Satsuriku must be thinking, despite the little she chose to share; you don’t spend that much time with someone without knowing at least in part how they act. She was being cautious, and she tried to hide it. He never once expected her to trust him, not even when they first met, nor in the year since then. Yet as much as he couldn’t fully trust her, or she him; yet there was certainly some trust given all the time they had spent together, even if Michio didn’t want to admit it.

For less than a second his eyes darted around the room trying to discern what Tetsui had meant by ‘us’. .He was quick to return his attention back to the woman, knowing the situation was already walking a tense line. He waited until she looked around the room to glance around himself and what he saw made it quite difficult to hold back his reaction. Both his fists clenched, a slight twinge running through his hand as his movement pulled at the wound on his hand, blood running down his knuckles and dripping onto the floor. He had cut his hand when he hit the mirror, but he hadn’t yet cared about the minor wound. ’This isn’t possible.’ In every reflection of the room Michio saw himself…but each of them was different than he was now. ”Oh come now… dont be like that. You know you recognize us... we’re all part of you.” He was tense now, returning his attention to Satsuriku as she spoke, trying to act casual, but she would easily notice how on edge he was, even if she couldn’t hear or see what was happening to him. In each of the reflections around the room there were men identical to Michio in most aspects, except few vital things, be it their attitude, clothing or even the ay the spoke, all of them taunting Michio as he tried to keep this part of himself a secret.

"What the Hell are you doing? What happened here?" Michio noted the soft chuckle that escaped her lips despite the distractions abundant around him, he knew what was coming next, something he would have done to her in similar circumstances, but he wasn’t sure if he could contain himself for what he knew was coming. "Don't tell me you are losing it? Does the job of a Leader take a bit bigger toll than you had thought? Perhaps too much responsibility for one guy?" His emerald eyes seemed to flare as they met her gaze. This was not a good time for her to push his buttons and yet he knew he must deal with it. ”Poor poor Izumi…” it wasn’t Tetsui that spoke, but another, his voice kinder than any alias Michio had taken since awakening in Kusagakure, the voice of Hiroshi Tetsuo spoke..the Ex-Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village. ”The poor girl has no idea who you really are..”

Michio growled out loudly, threateningly. He needed the silence in his head and he hadn’t intended it to be directed at Satsu, but from her perspective who else could it have been directed towards. ”Losing it?” his words were harsh, a growl of anger, something he hadn’t really shown Satsuriku in all this time they had spent together. The stress of recent events was causing the control over his temper to lose its battle. ”That’s rich coming from you don’t you think?” He snarled at her and flashed forward, he was only inches from her face now, his emerald eyes flaring with a newfound anger. ”I know what you’ve been up to since I’ve been gone, you havent been sleeping… ” he growled and with a lightning movement snapped his hand down to grab her wrist, ignoring the twinge of pain in his hand. He wasn’t smooth, or calm in his usual way, he was angry, scared and he was trying his hardest to contain all that he felt. ”I know you better than you realize … you’ve got that itch you cannot scratch, that yearning bloodlust and you have no idea why it all comes to the surface now. Or at least you aren’t willing to admit it.” His hand squeezed tightly on her wrist as his tone changed, the anger still apparent, but the obvious self-deflection being easily noted. “So..Izumi..” he spoke out of anger, not even taking note of the fact that he had used a name for her that he wasn’t supposed to know, ”Why did you so quickly rush up here upon my return and why were you so concerned about someone else being up here?” He grew a dark smirk at the woman before looking at her, his words were harsh and dark, but his tone seemed clear of anger now. . ”I think it might be wise for you to figure out your own mind before you question others.” He didnt wait for a response before he pushed her back with enough force to move her but not knock her down his glare combative.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. You're stepping on dangerous ground Ikko..."

Ms. Nichiyōbi

Her eyes had gotten a sight of the blood on his hand, the evidence of him breaking that mirror with a single punch. But she hadn't offered help yet or asked how his hand was. It seemed like the things in his mind were more important at the moment, as was her small teasing, and besides that kind of wounding was just a scratch for people their rank. With a challenging look she met his gaze, feeling a little bit excited and yet uncertain as she was witnessing this unusual moment of his instability. Who was this man truly? After this year, she had not seen a side like that to him before now. And it was a bit weird to say the least. If she hadn't been pretty unstable herself, both from unnamed causes from the past as well as her insomniac behavior, Satsuriku might have backed off a bit. She might have tried to find out what was wrong, tried to sooth the man a bit. But well, this was Satsuriku. Soothing someone was not exactly something she would be caught dead doing. And backing off? Fuck that.

His loud growl almost managed to startle her the slightest bit, causing Satsuriku to chuckle and wonder if she had truly become so used to the man that she had let down some of her defenses around him. Not really expecting to get a rise like that out of him, nor him getting that angry at her. Hadn't he still gotten used to her bitch side? ”That’s rich coming from you don’t you think?” She just smirked, and she knew she had gotten to rub the 'right' buttons. With his usual, impressive speed, he had moved right in front of her, and they just stared at each other like that before he spoke again. She had missed his scent a bit, had missed that body build, his tall and strong form. No.. no I did not. Shut up. I'm just horny or whatever. "I.. slept some." She growled out the lie, almost wanting to pout as he was way too quick to get straight to the point. Yeah, he probably knew her a bit too well by now. She knew he wasn't happy when she didn't sleep, but how could she really help it? He was the one that had gotten her hooked.

A surprised sound escaped her as he suddenly held her wrist in his grip, it was strong enough to make her want to smack his hand away, but she felt like there was just the slightest bit of a tremble to that grip. Had she really done a bad thing right now by pushing him? She knew she had gotten stronger during that year they had known each other, but he had more experience than her. He could outsmart her, and he had the advantage right there in his own apartment. Would he really dare? ”I know you better than you realize … you’ve got that itch you cannot scratch, that yearning bloodlust and you have no idea why it all comes to the surface now. Or at least you aren’t willing to admit it.” Satsuriku frowned, pulling at her hand now as she felt that her anger was starting to rise again also. Leader or not, he would be the only one able to grab her like that, insult her and speak of personal matters without her trying to kill him. But, there was also a limit to her patience.

“So..Izumi..”
Izumi.. Izumi... Izumi? The name was like thousand needles picking and prodding at her mind as it echoed for a good few seconds. Somewhere deep in her mind, she heard silent crying. A sound that always managed to make the hairs at the back of her neck to rise. That silent crying which had been silenced so long ago. Her own young self crying. Satsuriku stopped the struggling and just stared with a dumbfounded look at the man in front of her. Her gaze was so distant that it probably seemed like she had literally just fallen into herself. Something in her mind seemed to stop working for just a moment, and she wondered if she had truly heard him correctly. Perhaps the lack of sleep was playing tricks on her? But no, sadly she knew she had heard him correctly. And what the bloody Hell? A pang of panic seemed to rise from deep within her, causing her to start breathing a bit faster as she tried to pull herself back from the whirlpool inside of her mind. His voice was a distant echo to her as he kept talking, seemingly asking her something else. His self was a shadow inside of her mind, a large and imposing shadow that was threatening to suffocate her own presence.

At the sudden harsh pushing, Satsuriku stumbled backwards one step before she raised her right hand shakily upwards and pressed her palm against her forehead while she came back to her senses. Got back into "this world". A grim expression crossed her beautiful features for a short moment, her pale skin was even paler now as the dark circles under her eyes seemed to give her a ghostly look. "I...what?" Her voice was soft, so soft it was barely noticeable. And it was just as shaky as her hand had been. For a moment it seemed like a young and a scared girl was looking back at Michio as she had raised her face a bit, finally daring to meet his gaze to see if he had truly and honestly just called her that name.. that cursed name, her golden eyes were getting slightly round in surprise and confusion before she shook her head a bit.

"N-no.. why do you call me that?...why..why.. hahaha..haha...why?" Slowly but steadily her voice was rising up, a rather chilling laughter starting to mingle with her words and giving them a bit of blurred sound. Probably making it a bit hard to follow after what she was saying. Her left fist was clenching slowly but steadily, until her fingernails pierced through the soft skin, allowing small trickles of blood to start staining the floor. "Who...why... why... hah.." She shook her head while stepping warily backwards, feeling like that man had just exposed her soul to the world. Calm down, calm.. calm.. perhaps he got a Bingo Book from Konoha.. perhaps, perhaps he just didn't want to tell you that he knew about your true name. But the way he had said that, the way her name had been pushed from his lips.. it just made her want to turn and flee... or kill. Yes, kill him. Why did he do that? Why did he know that?

A sudden pounding in her head made Satsuriku double over and scream out in pain as she clutched to her head with both her hands, the left one staining her beautifully green hair with the red blood. Izumi.. remember her? A flickering memory of a young girl with green hair and golden eyes and a big smile, holding a bouquet of white flowers, handing them to her mother. Innocent. Untainted. Dead. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!" Her scream was mixed with a loud growl, a growl only to be heard from a wild and injured animal which had been cornered. Her scream was both meant for Michio as well as her own mind. She wanted it.. no needed it to stop this. It was her turn to move at lightning speed now, her fist clenched as it was aimed at Michio's face. She was far too confused and chaotic to even think of anything better to use than a simple punch. The punch was a blind one, as her eyes were filled with tears. But it wasn't like she was crying, she didn't sob nor have a genuinely sad expression. She knew what was going on, and she didn't like it the least bit. "WHY? WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO WAKE HER UP?!"

Those tears that were right now blinding her, came from somewhere else. This wasn't Satsuriku that was crying. It was that long lost girl that had wept so long when locked up in the depths of Satsuriku's mind. Having to watch the destruction and death her other self was wrecking upon others.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. You're stepping on dangerous ground Ikko..."
At her reaction, all the other voices, the visions the entire apartment seemed to become out of focus. He knew as soon as the name had left his mouth, but in that moment of anger he paid caution no heed. As he often had done far in his youth, Michio had let his motions speak for him, failing to consider the situation as a whole. To her… he wasn’t supposed to know that name. He did of course; it was unlike him to go into a close relationship with someone without knowing some sort of secret about them. It was a testament to his untrusting nature, something any psychiatrist would have a field day with. Shortly after having met Satsuriku exactly a year ago on this day in that bar, he made himself determined to learn more of her and he knew she wasn’t the type to trust him with that information, thus he had to take matters into his own hands and through some digging he learned of her original name, but that was the limits to his knowledge. To his surprise, even to one such as himself, the reasons for her leaving Konoha seemed to remain fairly shrouded in mystery and it wasn’t like he could just walk into the village and find out.

For quite some time, that small amount of knowledge was all he knew of her, but he wasn’t about to let her in on this knowledge, she warmed up to the name ‘Miss Reaper’ which he had given her when they had first met and as such, this was the name he used. Yet only a short time ago, through a series of complicated events he was able to regain his memory… or at least most of it, a fact that he hadn’t shared with anyone else. It was with these memories that he was able to learn more than he needed about the woman whom he had shared his bed with for the last year. And it was with this knowledge that he used when he spoke out of anger, referring indirectly to the moments of her past and know with her reaction, he knew it had been a very bad thing to do.

As he had finished speaking, he had noticed she seemed to be lost within herself. He hadn’t meant to lose control of himself in such a way, but now he was seeing the results of his words. As he pushed her with the small amount of force, she hadn’t even stood firm as he expected, she stumbled weakly backward, her expression suddenly grim. She seemed paler, weaker than he had ever seen her and the lack of sleep was apparent through the dark circles around her eyes. "I... what?" her voice was barely a whisper, he could barely hear her voice, but the look on her face was of clear surprise. Michio was certain that he had a good idea what would happen next, after all similar things had happened to him, and he knew this wouldn’t end well.

’Oh now, that won’t due now will it’ his voice echoing in Michio’s mind let out a dark laugh, ’’I thought I taught you to pick your words better.” Michio knew the exact face the man would have if Michio looked at any reflection right now, he knew he would be seeing Tetsui with that smirked that look so much like Michio’s own. ”You need her, she’s become in some way more than just a pawn now hasn’t she?” Michio couldn’t help but nod in agreement as Satsu began to speak again, her voice getting louder, her words becoming twisted, mixed with hysterical laughter. "N-no.. why do you call me that?...why… why… hahaha..haha...why? Her words, loud, full of insanity echoed through the apartment and for one of the few times in his life Michio knew not what to say. ’You know all these words and yet you cant fix what you’ve just done can you?’, Tetsui’s voice laughed darkly inside Michio and he found his hand clenching tighter to shut it out, the blood running from his hand slowly, dropping to the floor with a light whispering tap.

"Who...why... why... hah.." She spoke in words, but there was nothing coherent enough to communicate ideas. Michio didn’t know what to do, she was breaking and he had no clue how to put her back together. If only he hadn’t been so pushed to the brink…still being pushed slowly towards the edge… he would have thought before he spoke, using that clever mind and the carefully measured charm as always. Her hand was bleeding now, he loosened his grip on her wrist as the blood fell to the floor. Tap. Tap. As his hand let go she staggered backwards, as if his grip had been the only thing holding her up.

”Come on son of mine”, the dark whisper mad itself known again, ”You’re running out of time…don’t you need to fix this?”

As if acting on cue, Satsu screamed out and nearly fell over. Michio found himself flinching at the sheer volume and agony presented in the scream, her hand clutching her head, digging into her bloodstained hair, as if trying to get something out. ’What do I…’ for the first time in nearly twenty years, he felt like a child, not knowing what to do. He spoke his voice barely a whisper in her scream. ”Stop it! Stop!”It was in that instant he was a scared kid, a child in the body of a man, the second piece in the two broken pair. He was in little control of what happened now, a complete loss of control, something he had refused to feel since a young age. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?!"”, the words left her in a growl, the volume loud enough that the entire village might have heard it. She was hurt and confused and in her fear she moved so fast that the broken boy who looked down at her couldn’t even move the body he currently inhabited. The blow came lightning fast, it’s speed moving quicker than Michio could follow in his current state. Her fist came out, clenched tightly slamming with tremendous force into his jaw. Had he been in full control of himself, he could’ve merely shifted to the side, causing the blow to glance, losing much of it’s force with the controlled collision, yet in his current state, he found himself unable to and the sheer force of the blow, amplified by her fear and adrenaline, caused Michio to stagger back, momentarily dazed more words of hers ringing in his ears and yet he couldn’t understand what she had said.

For that short split second before her blow he had been that lost, confused child and it seemed with the force of her blow, something rattled in his head. What could you call this? In this brief moment of insanity Michio’s mind became momentarily clear. He had spent his entire life adapting to what he was given, molding into the right piece to be moved like a pawn and yet, as he knew each piece was separate from the other, they also were all part of one set. The man who stood before her didn’t know how to fix what he had done, how to end her madness, he wasn’t one to fix problems; he was Shin Michio, the one who poked and prodded and pulled until things fell apart and he got what he wanted…chaos. He was intense like lightning, passionate like fire, dark, charming and manipulative. All of these things he was, it’s true; but the one thing he could never be, was the type to fix problems. He was the one who made the problems, basking in the chaos and yet, despite his darkness everyone had their bit of light, their sense of order amidst the chaos and for once Michio surrendered to it, instead of fighting tooth and claw against it. And he surprised himself.

”Well well well, what have you done Ikko…” the voice spoke, but to Michio it was lost simply in transition, he didn’t hear the voice of his father, in this calm and quiet state, he heard nothing.

With new eyes, he looked down upon her…these eyes were different than before, softer, kind; they lacked the darkness they had previously held. Her eyes were wet with tears, but yet she did not show the usual grimace of sadness, the sobbing that accompanied tears. He found himself crouching down, to level with her as he felt that stinging pain in his jaw, regaining his footing after having been briefly knocked back by the force of the woman’s blow, yet he blocked out the pain, focusing only on the wounded girl in front of him. ’Shhhh’ his hand moved up to her cheek slowly, showing that he meant no harm, as if he were approaching an animal stuck in a trap. ”You’re safe…I’m not going to harm you any further.” The words that came from his mouth were in a voice, a tone different from one Satsuriku would’ve heard him use before. They were soft, kind, trusting, soothing… something Michio was not. ”Im sorry…” his hand rested lightly against her bloody cheek, the blood from her hair having trickled downward a bit, ”It’s alright... just calm down.” This wasn’t the voice of Michio, the man who made problems, this was voice of a man who fixed them, it was the voice of Hiroshi Tetsuo.

The feeling of flesh underneath her fist let a small bolt of satisfaction run through Satsuriku's body. Violence.. yeah that was always the best way to let everything out. But still even if usually it managed to rid her of a headache or a bad feeling, the only thing Satsuriku could really notice was the small sting of pain in her knuckles from the hard blow. Just that factor was a sign of her bad mental state at that moment, as usually she could punch through walls without even noticing. Her monstrous strength was naturally a big part of her mind's state, as it was with most other aspects. If one wasn't whole, or was breaking apart, then naturally so would his resolve as a ninja start breaking.

With a bit of an alarm, she watched as Michio leveled himself down towards her, she was expecting pretty much anything at that moment but most certainly then she had not been expecting that look of kindness which hit her like a slap in the face. Kindness was something to be avoided all together, at all costs. Kindness never brought anything good with it. Ever. It was used to fool people and trick them, to lure them into trusting others blindly and betraying themselves. "N-no..stop.." With a confused and sort of scared look on her face she backed just the slightest bit away from the man, as she muttered in a soft and unrecognizable voice. That look of his new-found kindness was scaring her more than anything he could have done or said up until then. They both were used to hissing at each other, spitting out insults, even throwing a few punches. That was just the nature of their living. But this.. this was just a biiig no no. She was terrified of him making her softer, coming to terms with things she refused to come to terms with. Because she knew that if she wouldn't be careful, she could easily become swallowed up by the ghosts of the past. ”You’re safe…I’m not going to harm you any further.” "I'm sorry." Why is he trying to confuse me? Why is his voice so soft? Stop it!

The headache slowly spread across her skull, stabbing at her from every direction. Making it impossible for her to try and think a rational thought. That bloody kindness, that bloody headache and that bloody situation in it's whole fucking weirdness was just too much. The soft crying still echoed in her head, and she could picture a ragged green haired girl, sitting on the ground and hugging her knees to herself while sobbing so painfully. But all that stopped as soon as a sudden warmth spread across Satsuriku's cheek. Her rather cool skin felt a bit on fire as the palm of Michio's hand touched it, and for a few seconds, long seconds mind you, the woman stared up into his eyes without a word. Allowing the tears who held no emotions from her behind them to slide slowly down her pale cheeks. Already there was a small swelling starting to appear where her fist had connected with his jaw, and momentarily in a sort of a random act of thinking, she wondered just how she had managed to actually punch him. Clearly he had either just allowed it to happen, or he hadn't been expecting it? But he always expected her punches. He's also.. not stable.. Well duh, hadn't he recently been breaking mirrors while talking to himself?

But ... who was that man? He had now shown two sides to him which she had never encountered before in that whole year. A side of madness and anger that even Satsuriku would have troubles keeping up with, and now a side filled with such kindness and compassion that the young woman felt she was choking in his presence. "Just what do you want from me?" There was a new tone of defeat in her voice, something that had never been there before, as she leaned her head a bit to the touch of his hand. Her almond shaped eyes closed slowly as if she was trying to hide the look of pent up feelings which would have mirrored from the depths of her golden orbs. A small shiver ran through her body as she felt for the first time in a long while like she just wanted to give up. Just wanted to lean against him and do nothing else, surrender the tough appearance she had put up for so long.

There was silence in her head, no headaches, no whispering voices telling her to wreck havoc, no memories which flashed through and caused her to feel like slicing someone in half. There was nothing of the usual going on. It was just this moment, which would probably be very awkward for them both the day after. It was like this moment when people are overly drunk and become best friends and share everything they really shouldn't share. And all those things happening in about 5 minutes.

"I'm tired." Her eyes slowly opened, and behind her back grew a sharpened and hardened bone out of the palm of her right hand, the growth of that bone almost unnoticeable even to Satsuriku herself. But she felt a familiar fire start burning within her.. And slowly she looked up into Michio's emerald green eyes, her golden ones now almost dry again as a slightly familiar glint had returned. A glint of suspicion, distrust and anger before she moved slowly upwards and closer to his face. Her movements were casual, and without any threat as she lowered her heavy lashes a little bit while looking at the man in front of her with the not really hidden new expression of hunger. The tip of her nose was almost touching his by now, while the green haired woman glanced slowly down onto his lips before looking up into his eyes again, whispering very faintly.

"I'm so...so.. tired." Her soft lips brushed lightly against his, like a small whisper of a wind, in a casual movement as she tilted her head a bit to the side while slowly closing her eyes. That familiar feeling and taste calmed her even more than before, even if she remained shielded against it. Her body moved a little closer to his, her left hand resting lightly against his chest, before Satsuriku pressed her lips a bit harder against his in a soft kiss before nibbling on his lower lip. Her tongue traced slowly alongside the alluring form Michio's lips before she was suddenly done moving her hand which possessed the bone knife, pressing the blade against Michio's neck as she stayed halfway pressed up against him. Her lips again brushing against his as she whispered in a husky voice.

"I don't like being confused, thrown off guard or surprised." Satsuriku pulled the slightest away, opening her eyes now and looking into Michio's while she wore a fierce expression. "And you have done all three of these in the past 10 minutes or so. So now you better tell me what the fuck you are planning, who you truly are and how you managed to find out about -that- name. Don't think I'll allow you to simply manipulate me like this. I know just what will happen once you grow tired of me, and I can only assume that would happen soon. I'm not one of those foolish women who just accepts her fate like that." Satsuriku knew she was playing a risky game there, as she didn't know if he also had a weapon hidden somewhere, and she knew for a fact that he never just sat around idly while things progressed.

"Just what do you want from me?", her voice was quiet and defeated, something even Hiroshi knew that was rarely, if ever heard from this woman. Hiroshi did not answer her question, because in truth he didn’t know what Michio wished to do with her, despite being one in the same, he didn’t know. A trivial issue that made him think that perhaps even Michio himself did not know. He didn’t speak at all, it was already a risk having spoken once, Hiroshi knew of this woman’s goals and he knew that even in her most stable state, she wouldn’t take kindly to knowing who he…no who Michio had been. Nevertheless, his words had seemed to serve their purpose, her eyes slowly closed and though their close contact Hiroshi felt a small shiver run though her form. For now, it seemed she had finally calmed and the two said nothing letting the silence build in the apartment. Yet, Hiroshi knew it wasn’t just the apartment, for the first time in many weeks, there was no voice in his head, no whispers, no memories randomly jumping to the surface, nothing. Just silence. In the short time since she had arrived it seemed like days had passed.

Her words were the first to break the silence, ”Im Tired” her voice quiet still, but seemingly calm as she looked up at him. He saw that her eyes were nearly rid of tears now and that the old life had returned to her, she moved up towards his face and Hiroshi, perhaps in a moment of idiocy, trust or both did not move away. He had seen the look she wore now many times as she looked upon Michio, the hungry look the two always seemed to share and he found himself surrendering to the same feeling, leaning closer so their noses almost touched. "I'm so...so… tired." her voice whispered out as her soft lips brushed against his, a small warmth seeming to grow inside of him. He nodded slightly in response before as their lips made contact. She tasted just as Hiroshi knew she would from Michio’s experiences with her, familiar even though he himself, in a convoluted way had never kissed her. Closer still she came, her hand moving up to rest against his chest and Hiroshi felt the warmth of her body so very close to his as she kissed him again, harder than before, his lips returning the pressure against hers and kissing back. There was a brief moment in his mind where he was unsure what had changed between seconds ago and now, wondering if he should be wary, but he found it pushed away, suppressed under the feeling of her tongue and the small shiver that ran through him as it traced along his lips. He moved slightly, aiming to kiss her more, but suddenly it was done and he felt the edge of a blade against his neck and it all changed.

~

”She has no idea what she’s playing with does she” It was back now, the dark voice whispered in his head and as she spoke Hiroshi felt himself sliding back away. It was a terribly feeling losing control of one’s self again after having not been in control for so long. ”I don't like being confused, thrown off guard or surprised." Her words came as a whisper against his lips, but Hiroshi found himself being replaced once more as she pulled away slightly. He was being shoved away back into the dark to watch, a prisoner in a fraction of himself. His body made no direct action as she spoke again, seemingly reverting back to her usual state. He was careful and cautious, as one would usually be with a blade stuck to their throat. I'm not one of those foolish women who just accepts her fate like that."

As she finished speaking, the warm blade still pressed against his throat, he spoke, everything about him reverting back to the state she would be used to. ”Tsk Tsk, catching me off guard with your feminine charms…aren’t you just a lever little bitch. His eyes hardened beneath her gaze as she opened her eyes, a smirk growing across his face as his voice seemed to revert back to its normal inflection ”So..you don’t like being caught off guard, confused or surprised? Well now, what a fun life you must lead if everything goes off so smoothly.” He laughed a dark laugh, the warmth of the bone blade against his neck cutting barely into his skin as he did so, a small trickle of blood running down the skin of his neck. You must have everyone wrapped around your fingers like puppets if everything goes off so smoothly Miss Reaper” As he spoke, he used the pet name that he had given her when they first met in a teasing way, his smirk growing wider.

’You play a dangerous game here Beautiful…’ Michio’s eyes flared and before she would be able to react, his hand which had been simply resting on her cheek snapped down and gripped her neck with amazing strength. His fingers dug into her neck threateningly, most likely cutting off her air for a split second, making it known that if she made any movement with the knife he would use his last remaining strength to crush her windpipe. "Tell me Satsuriku, the self-proclaimed Demon of Amegakure… are you going to kill me if I don’t answer you?" His hand still gripped tightly around her throat, just slightly squeezing but not enough to prohibit her from speaking. ”But now where would you be without me? I mean after all, it was I who took you in, who’ve given you money, a place to live, I’ve practically given you an –entire- village. And what thanks to do I get? I get a punch in the jaw and a knife to my throat. Im not sure whether to kill you or fuck you…” he laughed darkly, the small trickle of blood moving down across the stubble on his neck. He had no fear of the blade at his throat, not because he did not fear death, which was in fact one of his worst fears; but because he was confident in himself, he doubted she would really kill him. ”Would you really kill me?... Could you?” His eyes were fierce as he looked into hers as he spoke, ”I don’t think you remember what I said my dear, I know you better than you think… How often do you sleep when I am gone? How often do you feel like you’re losing control of the bloodlust, of that itch underneath your skin?” He didn’t move the fierceness of his gaze as he continued to speak, ”And that scares you doesn’t it? ” He smirk had long since disappeared, his face straight and calm, his eyes flaring as they looked into hers. ”You presume that I’ll get tired of you, but only because you’re afraid, this entire situation between us scares you. Isn’t that right? You try to be so self-reliant as you run away from yourself and yet even here you find your past catching up to you.”

His tone had changed slightly, he was simply calm, yet there was still the underlying threat and truth to his words as he spoke. ”You put so much fear in that name…” He didn’t say it directly but was sure she would know the name he was referring to when he spoke, ”And yet it is merely a name, and oh how easy it is to find a name” He chuckled softly, ”The memories of men may be short, but their records are longer and you may find it interesting to know that the only records that exist of that name are now in here” As he spoke his other slowly moved up and tapped his temple. In part he was lying, it was not by records that he had learned of her, but she needn’t know that yet. After all, Konohgakure is no more, is it not? he let his hand fall and rand his gaze lightly down her form before looking back up into her eyes. He was oddly tired, perhaps not physically but even the last hour felt like days to his mind and his tone was slightly softer as he spoke again. ”I am not one to oft repeat myself, I told you my intentions before, my plans have not changed since we first met even though they may have happened slightly differently than I wished, nevertheless they still remain the same.” His posture shifted slightly and he sounded oddly tired as he spoke again, I have no intention of tossing you aside like a common whore from the street, but I digress; if that is what you really think…if you really intend to kill me… He moved forward slightly, pushing his neck a bit into the blade, his eyes looking darkly into hers. ”If you are going to kill me then don’t waste this time with words. If you are actually going to kill me then just do it.”

Ah there he was again, the man she knew, the one she had been fucking for the past year and also messing around with in every other aspect. He was back, and with that it seemed like some of the original balance was restored. That name he had uttered seemed to start to slowly sink into the depths of her mind, black and long arms seeming to reach up and pull at it, pull it down down into the abyss where it would lie in wait. It would wait for another opportunity, for the wrong person to utter it again. For Satsuriku to become unstable again. A few pairs of golden eyes were also waiting, watching, from that darkness. The tattered and ragged bodies of younger versions of Satsuriku, all mutilated in their own beautiful ways. All waiting for the time to drag her down to them, to make her once again experience her own personal Hell. For now, she would again go deaf to their wailing and crying and whispering. But the amount of voices and sounds built up, and built up... until the day they would yet again reach her, they could blow out her eardrums and send a new wave of a migraine to drive the young woman down to her knees. Down to their level. Down to her fall.

”Tsk Tsk, catching me off guard with your feminine charms…aren’t you just a lever little bitch.” Satsuriku smiled, not feeling offended by his words but rather glad they were what she got. If she had had to deal with more kindness, it would have most probably been the death of both of them. "Mmm you should know best of all my level of bitchyness, -darling-." The last word was uttered in a way that could not be mistaken for anything else than resentment, but yet.. a hint of twisted humor remained also. Her gaze followed the single drop of blood that painted it's way down Michio's neck, her pink tongue snaking out of her mouth in a quick manner as she felt this primitive need to lick that blood away. However, she held that need at bay. For now. "You must have everyone wrapped around your fingers like puppets if everything goes off so smoothly Miss Reaper” A cheerful laughter followed after his words, while the woman who was still pressed against him nodded eagerly to his words. Her mood already reaching one of it's weird and blissful peaks. "Oh you should know well yourself how easy it is to wrap others around your finger."

Her fingers stroked lightly against his chest as Satsuriku almost purred out. "Everybody only need sweet words or sweet things promised to them. Or they need somebody to follow them with starry eyes and eating up everything they say." Her smiling died down, and she glared the slightest at Michio, knowing just as well as he did that she was getting dangerously close to being one of those people that clung too much on what she was promised.

A soft sound escaped her as she felt her airway being cut off, the movement too sudden for her to have even followed it properly after. The woman tilted her head the slightest backwards, but kept her piercing gaze on the face of the man who held her in his death-grip. They had had pretty similar situations to this, but not quite the same. Usually it was done in the playful aftermath, or during the game, of the night's "games". This time, this was a sort of a challenge from both. A dare. A sort of; 'I kill you, you kill me So what's your move bitch?' thing that was going on between them. "You are the one playing a dangerous game. Having a cold woman like me next to you. Does your arrogance know no boundaries? Do you think I will become sweet and gentle?"

"Tell me Satsuriku, the self-proclaimed Demon of Amegakure… are you going to kill me if I don’t answer you?" ”But now where would you be without me? I mean after all, it was I who took you in, who’ve given you money, a place to live, I’ve practically given you an –entire- village. And what thanks to do I get? I get a punch in the jaw and a knife to my throat. Im not sure whether to kill you or fuck you…” A light growl emitted from the back of her throat as she remained still, but seemed to try and cut his neck with her glare alone. That man had a good point, as he always seemed to do. "It seems like you have given me much, Michio. But have you given me also respect? Or are those -gifts- just here to make sure you get your booty call whenever you want?" It stung her overly large pride greatly when he spoke these words, and especially because she knew she had taken these things without a question. He had given her a new purpose in life, but yet... her goal seemed to have gotten buried underneath there somewhere. What she had mainly lived for, got a little bit pushed to the side, as Satsuriku had forgotten herself in the luxurious life which she had been handed. However, yes there was always that -however- word... she knew better than just easily tossing everything away.

"Aaah.. I get it I get it. I know my pride is too big for it's own good, and my mentality is not the greatest out there. But I'm not stupid. And it would be stupid indeed to kill the man that has handed me so easily all these things. And you know that, you bastard. You know how easy it is to always keep luring me in." She chuckled, completely seeming to ignore that hold on her throat which made her voice a little bit more strained. "Did you do it on purpose? To make me addicted?" Her hand moved from his chest and stroked up his neck to his cheek where she lightly rubbed her thumb against his skin while looking with a very calm expression at him. Anyone who would have walked in at that point would have probably gotten too confused to even know what to do or say. Both of them being a bit bloodied, him ready to break her neck while she was ready to slice his head off. And yet both having now a very calm expression on their faces. It seemed that most of the tension had run off, and what remained was the usual small struggle over who got to hold the reigns.

"It does scare me. It makes me furious, frightened like a child.. confused. There wasn't supposed to be anything that could have pulled me away from what I had planned on doing. There wasn't supposed to be any person that could have survived my presence this long, and still kept me wanting more." Satsuriku bit her teeth together, clenching her jaws a bit as she felt like she had almost said too much. Letting out a low sigh, she looked to the side, her gaze still burning but her voice that of a person that was dog-tired. "I must keep running. I know what will happen if I stop. I'll be gone forever, and I can't disappear without killing off every single person who participated in my pain. All those who closed their eyes to my suffering shall pay. And all those who were born into the lies and deceiving of that village must pay also."

Her hand fell down from his cheek and rested against his chest again, as she grumbled a little bit. For now, she would just believe what he said. That he had gained -that name- through records. But sooner or later some of the questions would be answered. "I reeaallyy hate you." It was hissed out towards him before the knife in her palm disappeared into her skin again and she let her right hand drop down, while still feeling his grip on her neck. She was... sadly.. and painfully... submitting. The fierce fire in her gaze showed how strongly she disliked it, but it was in a way her own twisted way of letting him know she hadn't really meant to attack him with her fist or words at first. And since she would have rather cut out her own tongue instead of saying sorry, she just did what she was capable of. So Michio had won this round, in whatever way it was possible to call that a 'victory' or a 'round' for that matter. Satsuriku would keep following him, because he had managed to 'tame' her up until now. She had gotten used to his presence and his touch, using that as drugs against her mental illness. And what was she truly when he wasn't around? Something broken, something that couldn't focus. Something weak. But then again, he had given her techniques and skills she wouldn't have been able to get herself. However much she would have liked to deny that.

After she had dropped her offensive act, only then did she notice how tired and shaken she truly was. It took a lot of willpower only to keep her limbs from shaking. But they were both tired. Very tired... She had noticed it just as easily with him as he had done with her. Whatever would be the end of all this? "So what now? I figure you have as few answers to my questions as I would have for yours." They remained close without actually touching each other, despite her hand against his chest. She was unsure if she should move away and leave. Or stay there, stay with that man who was slowly but gradually getting past her defenses with his manipulative words and hypnotizing touch. Satsuriku knew that if she would leave now, she'd most probably go and kill someone. Just to get it out of her system, and she would most probably also remain sleepless. But maybe, just maybe, she'd be able to work that out.

 I'm mad. You're mad... We're all mad here. ~ [Michio/Satsu (P)] Empty

‘What now indeed?’, the words rung out in Michio’s head quietly before he opened his mouth to speak. “Oh but I don’t hate you… no matter how much you might –claim- to hate me…”, Michio found himself whispering out the words as he let his hand fall from her neck, light bruising starting to appear from where his hand had been. The same hand moved up moved up, brushing lightly across the skin of her cheek. Before lightly taking her chin in hand and guiding her closer, where his lips would brush lightly across hers, teasing with a soft touch before moving down to her neck, his lips brushing across her neck faintly as he spoke, “You should know by now my dear, respect is earned… now, the question is, do you think you’ve earned it?” He pressed a soft kiss against her neck as he spoke, his tone calm, quiet, if not a tad bit seductive. “mm but who’s to say that guaranteeing a booty call is entirely wrong…If not unneeded, as I’m sure we both greatly enjoyed it on the great many occasions. ”, His lips curved into a smirk for a moment before his teeth grazed against the soft skin of her neck in a light bite as he spoke again, his warm lips brushing across her neck as he whispered against it “But what is the purpose of such gifts when most ‘only need sweet words or sweet things promised to them’ in order to assure their faith.”

A soft quiet chuckle escaped his lips as they moved up her neck, tracing slowly with faintly teasing kisses as he continued to speak, “mm... but perhaps that is just my boundless arrogance talking. Perhaps all you need to do to get someone under your thumb is get them addicted…intoxicating them with a touch…” His hand on her cheek moved to lightly grip her hair, pulling her closer gently with the hold as he knew she had hesitated before, unsure whether to stay or go; and then to accentuate his point he moved his other hand to trace softly down the bare skin of her shoulder, teasingly down her arm, tracing dangerously across the underside of her breast, “…with power..”, he continued, his lips brushing tenderly across the light bruise his strong grip had left in the skin of her neck, as he pulled her head back a bit roughly with the grip in her hair “and with pleasure.” As he finished speaking his teeth sunk into her skin, biting her earlobe lightly as he pressed his body up against hers.

He knew of her previous words, he did well to remember everything she had said in this instance despite his fragile state. He knew that everything they both had said on this night could be used later, in a similar occasion and he was positive he would get a blade held to his throat soon enough as he had neutralized her threat with simple words, forced her to submit and he knew by the defiant and fierce look that had been in her eyes that it was something that she wouldn’t soon be forgiving him for. He’s calm quiet voice whispered into her ear lightly now, as his hand traced further down her stomach slowly, centimeter by centimeter as he spoke, “Yet, perhaps I am wrong…” he knew of what she feared with this connection between them, with his manipulative words and tantalizing touch and there was a small part of him that relished in the fear he had partially inspired within her, the dark part and yet there was also the part that knew it kept her at his side something that made him oddly content. “Perhaps it’s not a singular addiction that keeps us in this web of manipulation…” He traced the tip of his tongue across her ear, slowly before he continued speaking softly, his warm breath blowing against her ear as he spoke, “maybe…just maybe the addiction is mutual… the manipulator and the victim, both sharing, both relishing in the thrill and the power the addiction gives them and yet both sharing the fear that it may blind them, that it may distract them, fearing most that perhaps the addiction will just completely consume them, disregarding all previous goals or intentions; but yet here the two are, still firmly rooted in place. With the two of them being firmly, uncontrollably and hopelessly addicted.” His hand traced further down, brushing across her inner thigh with a light touch as the words left his mouth. It was easy to realize what he spoke of, he had, in his own way just admitted to sharing similar fears to hers, but that was the closest he would ever get to saying it for it was as close as his arrogance and pride would allow. Satsuriku may have seen two new and seemingly weaker sides to Michio, but he would be damned if he were to let down his defenses entirely.

“Perhaps there is little that either of them can do to fight against it….” His hand moved up, trailing up her inner thigh, teasingly touching as it moved closer. “Perhaps the two were doomed the moment they set eyes upon each other.. ”, he lips moved back down her neck, trailing with soft kisses and bites as his hand seemed to inch further up her thigh, teasingly slow with light touches, “doomed, not to be the star crossed lovers of an old tale, but to be tormented by an addiction which they are unable to fight against.” His hand snaked further up, rubbing against her as his lips trailed across her jawline and cheek, slowly tauntingly brushing across her full pink lips before pulling back with a small smirk. “Then again perhaps, I am just an insane man who likes to hear his own voice…”, he ran his eyes down her form as she was pressed close to him, “or just an insane man who has no answers of his own.“ he laughed darkly, not making any moves to kiss her but leaving his hand in place teasingly, briefly wondering what she would do if he were to just leave now. He knew they both were exhausted for numerous reasons, but he felt a bit more full of life once his mind had calmed and that old flame that he shared with her reignited.

“Oh but I don’t hate you… no matter how much you might –claim- to hate me…” She looked at him with a sort of annoyed expression before sighing and half closing her eyes. "But it's so much easier to just hate.." The tingling feeling when his lips brushed against hers sent small shivers down her spine as she didn't move but just waited and listened. Wanting to see and hear what he was going to be doing now. Earned the respect..? Have I? Yeah why the heck not? She had killed those he had asked her to kill. She had so far done what had been expected of her, and she hadn't even tried to kill him that often. She even let the others in the little therapy group called Days of the Week be for the most part in peace. So did she deserve respect? Fuck yes. In fact, she thought she deserved a fucking medal for being able to work with the very random and fucked up people Michio seemed to attract. Not that she thought she was any less random or fucked up. But some couldn't even do so with style... However she didn't speak up, but simply tried to keep listening as his mouth started to tease her neck.

"Nnnh.." Were they going to end up having sex? It usually lead to that. Well.. okay sort of all the time. Like it was impossible for them to be near each other without starting to feel like dogs in head. And hey it was not like she was complaining. His light bites and brushing of his soft lips against her skin caused the green haired woman to shift just a bit while a small groan managed to slip past her lips. “mm... but perhaps that is just my boundless arrogance talking. Perhaps all you need to do to get someone under your thumb is get them addicted…intoxicating them with a touch…” "Hnn yeah.. arrogant.. prick.." The words, hissed out, were tainted with humor. As she always loved to be able to call anyone names. "nnhh.. don't.. bite.." Her fingers gripped on his shirt as she arched her back a little bit, the grip he had on her hair only adding to the swarm of pleasure that the bite on her earlobe had created. Sure she said no, but in fact she wanted to scream YES! and jump him right there. However, oh how one has got to love the word -however-, she remained somewhat still. Only Michio's voice breaking the silence, and her occasional grunting sounds as she bit her teeth together.

“Yet, perhaps I am wrong…” Her eyes which had been slowly closing, as Satsuriku had decided to allow herself to float around on the pretty pink cloud of pleasure for just a few minutes, snapped open and a single slender eyebrow was raised a bit. Michio? Admitting he might be wrong? Woah woah.. Sort of out of the blue, she found herself glancing upwards, wondering if a meteor would come striking through the ceiling. What madness is this?! She started to smirk a bit, a sweet and smug look crossing her features as she parted her lips only to quickly close her mouth again, a small peep of the moan that had been forming escaping out. The light touch against her inner thigh was way more stimulating than a direct touch would have been. Just that, that teasing.. the wait for something more to happen.. or perhaps not to happen. It had every potential of driving her mad. And Michio knew that probably very well now after their year of intimacy.

“Perhaps the two were doomed the moment they set eyes upon each other.. ” "Hnn .. perhaps." Her long legs squirmed around as she tried to wriggle even closer to the man which had seen so many sides of her this evening, as she had seen so many new ones and surprising ones of him. As her left hand kept holding onto his shirt, her other hand snatched downwards and placed above his teasing one. Halfheartedly she seemed to be trying to make him stop his small advances, and yet she didn't push hard at his hand or try to forcefully pull it away. It was more like she was just showing some ounce of stubbornness as she was still trying to process all that had happened. She wanted to sometimes fight a bit more against him and his words, his touch and his ways of getting into her mind. Somewhere deep within her mind she was trying to process what he was saying. It had sounded to her like he was trying to put into words that the same fear which threatened to engulf Satsuriku was also knocking on his own doors.

“Then again perhaps, I am just an insane man who likes to hear his own voice…” She looked him over as he looked at her, for a moment their eyes looking deep within each other. “or just an insane man who has no answers of his own.“ "No answers..? That doesn't sound much like the usually confident Michio I know." She purred softly, her hips moving just the slightest with his intimate touch as her hand which had been clutched to his shirt started a travel of it's own down his chest and abdomen. Her tiredness seemed to be a little less pressing now, although a small tremble of her exhausted body shook her lithe form the slightest. "These sides of each other that we have shown now.. could play either fatal or fortunate roles in the near future. I look forward to see which way it will go.." Would they survive another "incident" like this? Perhaps.. perhaps not.. She leaned upwards and brushed her rosy pink lips against his before kissing him softly and closing her eyes. Whatever it was that was going to happen, then she was not going to let these "What if" thoughts ruin this little moment they were having right there and now. Her head tilted the slightest to the side as she did not yet deepen the kiss nor aggressively attack the man she was pressed against. Instead her lips moved softly and lightly, slowly and teasingly against his in kisses which lasted for just a few short seconds each.

This little dance they were dancing now was a little bit exciting she had to admit. It was like neither was going to take the full step, but instead was teasing and taunting the other a bit to see how much they could take before taking the next move.
