Skill or Power: Which shall win?

Hiroshi stood surveying the field awaiting for his opponent to appear. It was the simple Konohagakure training field, far off the beaten path. This training ground was scarsely used by the general populous, but Hiroshi chose it because of that feature. Just in case this fight got...messy. The field was bland, the earthy ground stale and beaten into a hard crust from the sun was littered with sparse patches of green grass and craters of varying size left from previous training exercises. Some of the trees were entirely burth, others left in splinters and more were just completely uprooted, all from Hiroshi's previous training. To the left of where the Hokage stood was a pond of substantial size, it's clear blue water littered with a large fallen tree that stretched to reach both it's banks.

Hiroshi glanced down at his watch, checking the time as the noon-day sun cast a small shadow down upon training field. "Day's fading away slowly..." He stretch lazily while awaiting his opponent, the certain Uchiha, late as ever. Or perhaps Hiroshi was early... he was awefully bad at keeping track of time. He smoothed out his gray suit, having completely disregarded traditional ninja gear, favoring instead a more buisiness like look that acompanied his weighted suit. This wasnt to say he couldnt stand on his own, the suit weight roughtly 4 times his body weight put enough strain on his muscles to keep them strong, yet was still light enough that he could move effectively in battle at high speeds, each pocket of the suit had been enchanted with a seal in each pocket allowing him to carry any number of projectiles within them without so much as a buldge.

Seconds after his casual remark, Hiroshi noted a figure walking into the training ground, the towering figure and memory of previous pictures cluing Hiroshi in on the man's identity. "A ninja should always be prepared..." Hiroshi said quietly as he focused his Ki into his feet, using simple footwork to close the distance between the two. Hiroshi's speed was such that anyone without sharingan would have difficulty outlining his exact movements, yet he kept it simple moving straight towards his target. Upon entering within ten meters of his opponent Hiroshi slowed his dash and swung his arm out launching seven kunai at his opponent, each with a small, barely noticeable pouch attached to them, a slight slimmer appeared in the arc as they moved towards the Uchiha. The shots were simple, likely to be dodged by his skilled opponent, yet a confident smirk appeared on Hiroshi's face as he pulled his hand back ready in case his target had a suitable counter attack.

OOC: Just gonna jump straight into it.

IC: Leaning in with his senses first, Shihouin used them to keep track of the Hokage's position as he moved towards his position, not so heavily relying on his sight when he had other senses available to him. This allowed him to keep accurate tabs on the rate of speed he was moving and the distance he was traveling. During his initial movement, Shihouin would keep his left hand at bay near his waist while keeping the right one near the demonic nodachi at his right.

As he began to slow down near entering the ten meter range, Shihouin would quickly throw two kunai only a moments breath before Hiroshi did. The time difference here being minimal, it would appear to be done at the same time. One kunai had been aimed at the ground before his opponents foot, that is to say it would aim at where the Hokage's foot would land due to it being a lead throw. At that amount of speed at Hiroshi's level, stopping or slowing down would prove to be difficult. The second one had been thrown at a faster pace aimed for the hip Hiroshi, to manipulate the opening due to him swinging his arms out. This attempt would make it difficult for him to control what he was going to toss at Shihouin, at an attempt to force him to deal with them.

As for the seven thrown at him, his two would pass under as he prepared to deal with them accordingly, moving his body in such manner in a stance that would allow him to react.

Hiroshi's eyes snapped to the two Kunai which were not his own, his eyes and mind tracing out their predicited path rapidly as he worked to counteract his forward movement. It was difficult, but not impossible. Jin was a forward dashing footwork technique, yet when movement was slowed enough it could be counteracted with a defensive footwork technqiue. By reversing the intention and control of his Ki, Hiroshi dropped into a crouch and altered his footwork as he still moved forward slighty from momentum, yet his expert body control kept him from stumbling as he suddenly snapped up and reversed his momentum, combining the reverse dash of Tweh with a jump

Hiroshi suddenly propelled himself backward and into the air at a rapid speed as his hand snapped down, two shuriken sliding from his sleeve and launching outward, spinning through the air aiming to collide with Shi's two projectiles. His jump-dash had put him well out of range of the two projectiles as he flew backward expertly arcing through the air at four feet, above the path of Shi's second Kunai. Yet the move left him wide open for another attack unless he could get in contact with the ground. While in the air, Hiroshi was entirely vunerable to any attack of the Uchiha's.

As the Hokage began to react to his thrown tools, he quickly gripped the shealthless demonic nodachi within his hand, brining it to position, quickly doing it in the time it would take for the Hokage to crouch down to allow himself enough time to readjust his movements. This was due to the fact that momentum was physics, thus rules humans had to adhere to.

As planned the 7 tools initially thrown had been now cast to the wayside more than likely to not be used again in battle due to the opponents repositioning. Maybe he could use them some how later on, but that would require a well re-evaluated plan to deploy them, thus also requiring more time.

As he jumped up and back, Shihouin aimed the nodachi at his opponent and threw it at his position in mid air. The blades throw had been quickened in such that it would more than likely be hard to deal with. The blade was not aimed essentially to skewer him in mid air, but was thrown to follow him. Unless the Hokage wanted to tumble backwards, with his weight and momentum pushing back, there would be a moment when he had to again, slow his speed and stop himself to readjust from landing in mid air to move again. The nodachi had been thrown to this point, closely following the Hoakge's speed with Jashin's gift of techniques.

However... Shihouin was packing a punch. The blades speed was no ordinary throw, and was strengthened by Jashin-sama's holy will. As it flew through the air towards his position, the Hokage (being cast in mind air) could find it very difficult to react to the blade. Shihouin not being idle handed uttered words to himself in near silence, and simultaneously began to move towards the Hokage at a quickened jog. With no projectiles to bother his path, he was clear to react to the Hokage's method of dealing with the attack.

The blade was coming towards him faster than his body moved backward. Hiroshi was definitely rusty. "I cant believe I fell for that..." As the blade came in fast, the Hokage acted quickly. With surprising strength he yanked his left hand back, pulling all the Kunai back into play, however the sudden reversal of momentum caused their flight to be less than graceful as they were yanked back towards Hiroshi, by the wire he had attached to them. His strength and he small distance they had traveled cause them to come in range before the sword had closed in.

As soon as the kunai and their attached explosive pouches came in range, Hiroshi detonated them, the seven explosions, small but obscured the both Hiroshi and the impressive sword. While under the mask of the explosion, Hiroshi let out a loud groan of pain before a single crow flew from the explosion, obscured by the fire as it cleared. Using his speed, Hiroshi suddenly appeared behind his opponent, quickly drawing into Taijutsu range as his fist extended towards the middle of the tall Uchiha's back.
