Description: Konoha's falconry communication center is truly starting to wreak. The ninja have not been able to attend to the cages as much as they would like and so far have missed two cleaning dates. The third date is approaching and the birds are only growing more and more unhappy. To satisfy them and relieve the owners of all the birds, the communication center requests a Genin team to aid in cleaning the cages. Of course this task can be completed solo but they did not wish to pin all the cages onto one person.

They ask that all the birds, when cleaning their cages, are individually placed an empty cage when cleaning. Problem is there are only ten free cages and 800 birds. You may also need to clean these empty cages when you're finished with the other 800. Do what you feel would be best for not only you as the cleaner but keep the birds in mind so they do not become stressed.

Objective
Primary: Clean 800 bird cages and make sure none of the birds get out

Secondary: Do so within 2 hours

Hana yawned loudly as she waited outside the Hokage’s office. She was waiting to be assigned a mission for now. She hoped she would get a C rank but if she could get a D rank that was okay too. She just really didn’t feel like doing chores today. She was craving excitement. She didn’t want to go do more errands. She felt she was doing those enough already.

The secretary at the desk told her Shihouin was ready to see her. Hana entered the dark office. She was sure that the office had been slightly brighter with the last Hokage. But she shrugged indifferently. Lately she didn’t mind the darkness. The darkness was toying with her and she wanted it’s power. She didn’t fear it as much as she thought she did.

The Hokage began to explain the mission. He explained it was D rank. She shrugged her shoulders. Hopefully next time she would get a better mission. But for now she would make do with what she had. She had to clean 800 bird cages? That… was not good. This would take her all day. Well not all day. Five hours seemed fair but still. She sighed heavily.

The young woman nodded once she was dismissed. Hopefully she would at least be able to go home and sleep the rest of the day after this mission. She walked out of the administration building and headed for her destination. Once at the falconry communication center, a man led her to the room where they kept all the birds. All the falcons were trained so she would be able to move them back and forth between cages. Just as long as she didn’t leave them out. Because of course they may fly away if not given proper attention.

Hana decided that it would be best to get the empty cages done first. That way she could then use them for the birds. She grabbed a scrubbing pat, a garbadge bag, and a bucket full of hot soapy water. Hana bit her lip as she worked. They really hadn't been cleaned in a while. The cages were absolutely filthy.

The young genin continued with her work though and after about twenty minutes she finished those ten cages. She stretched her arms over her forehead and looked around. She groaned. She had gotten only about eight percent done. This would take her forever.

She sighed and began to bring the birds to the now clean cages. The birds themselves weren't exactly clean either. Hana wondered why these people even GOT paid for not even doing the simplest of jobs. The place wasn't just messy but it stunk badly. She would be sure to tell semeone about this. Well not the Hokage because she was sure he wouldn't give a shit but she would probably go to his secretary or something.

Hana briefely wondered if there was a faster and easier way to do this. She thought for about fifteen minutes before it finally came to her. Why not use jutsu? Now she wondered what kind of jutsu would clean the cages. Well a water jutsu of course! Now which one to use... She needed one that wouldn't aggravate the birds. If that happened there would be big problems. The young girl decided to think on this matter a bit more.

Hana continued to think about which water jutsu to use that would make it to where she could wash the cages and how she could wash the birds too without using too much force or making them uncomfortable. She knew birds didn't mind baths. After all they played in those bird baths outside people's homes. Falcons shouldn't be too different.

If she could use her water whip and make it less strong she could probably pull it off. She just needed to use it like a watering hose. Yet make the water have less pressure so it was like a nice bath for the birds. She did th neccessary handseals and then began to use the water to clean the cages.


She had to hold the water above the birds and also pull the nasty stuff at the bottom out of the cages but this was much easier for the young genin. She could move quickly past the cages. The floors got wet but they were already disgusting with fecal matter everywhere. Afterwards she could just use the mop that was in the corner to clean up the water mess.

The whole mission only took an hour and a half. Hana spent an hour cleaning both the birds and the cages. She then spent another half hour cleaning up the water mess she left behind. Once she was done she stopped to look at her work. The entire room was much cleaner. It even smelled better.

Hana grinned as one of the workers walked into the room to check on her. His eyes widened at the sight. "I don't think I've ever seen it so clean," he praised. Hana nodded and thanked him. He handed her a card to give to the hokage, that basically said she completed her mission. She then headed to the administration building thinking to herself that she did a good job.
