| - Spoiler:
Name of Jutsu: Hone Senshu Jutsu(bone bow technique) Rank: C Users: Kaguya Type of Jutsu:: Taijutsu Element Affinity: N/A Training Link: Description: The user creates a bow using the ribcage. Any two ribs that are directly across one another connect and harden, cartilidge still present for flexibility. The bow is three and one half foot long normally, but it can vary if need be. The drawback string is made of pure cartilidge. Being this is made of such, it takes greater time to create the string. Because of this, users tend to make this previous to a battle instead of during one. Due to it being made from the user's own bones, the bow can be infused with chaka during construction to be strengthened. For example, the chakra infusion could cause the drawstring to react better, causing arrows to go further and/or faster. The average range for the bow is about 50 yards, as it was modeled after high-grade long-distance bows.
Mitsu awakened to the sound of silence. I guess that means he didn't wake up to sound at all, which means e just woke up naturally, ya, let's go with that. So Mitsu got up naturally one early sunrise and left for the training fields immediately, toating along a few makeshift wooden arrows he made the day before for this reason. The fog was thick around the town of Konoha, which was seemingly having that happen a lot lately. But Konohaseemingly always had wierd weather, but that was weather, so it was all natural. Mitsu was going to make a bow strictly from his bones. He wanted to do so as quickly as possible, so he would be able to focus on firing the bow properly. That, and he wanted to test some arrows he had been planning on getting. Having them specially made too, along with a nice quiver as well. So Mitsu stood in the center of the clearing, completely still. He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply as he held his arms out at full length. His face cringed up a bit as he focused the bone formation to match that of a bow he had in his mind, with a few of his own touches. He had studied how bows worked, what shape was best, all that sort of information he had spent time memorizing, until he had a sketch of what was an excellent shape for strength, speed, and distance. The bones slowly formed together, the drawstring last of course. Mitsu bent his right arm only at the elbow and grabbed hold of the bow that was now forming and he gave a steady pul to it as it fomred. One he was up to the drawstring, he paused completely. He started making the cartilidge and made it as elastic as he could, without sacrficing the strength. And he made it as tight as possible, until he felt the bones from the ends of the bow start to slightly bend while still inside him. He finished off the tips of the bow to insure the draw string would not detatch, and soon he was free to move. Mitsu bent his arms forward and stretched a bit. Having fired a bow before and studied the techniques, he knew how to fire one properly. He picked up an arrow, and drew back the string to his far shoulder. He took aim at a tree ten meters away and fired. The arrow hit its mark and he repeated the process four more times. Then he removed the arrows and stepped back an extra ten meters, now twenty meters away. He repeated the firing like he did at ten meters here, and then did the same at thirty, fourty, and finally fifty, its furthest range. Fourty and fifty were dodgy at best, but with more firing training, he would have better accuracy. He smirked to himself at the fact that he had created a working bow on his first try, but he knew that wasn't enough, he had to make sure he could do it again and again with the same results. And so Mitsu took about the entire proccess of making the bow, and firing at the different ranges, until he was able to have ten sucessful bows. Now, his day had passed by, and so he absorbed his bows, picked up his arrows, and left for home after a fruitful day of training. Now, to get the arrows and a fancy new quiver. |
