History: The Mushiki have a long history with that of Mist Country, being one of the first clans to walk upon its shallow waters. The clan first started out with a fisherman who made his living by filtering the dirty water for the village. Every day he would go down to the river bank and collect water into wooden jugs and bring them back to his own to start the filtering process of the early Mizu villagers had clean water to drink. His filtering process was setting the water on top of the fire and boiling the water, killing all the bacteria and germs within its contents. One night some of the boiling water fell out of its jugs and splashed on him. However the water had no effect on him, even in his boiling state. In awe, the fisherman began testing this immunity that he had and later learned that he was innately infusing his chakra into the water which was causing it to boil, not the fire. Which was why he was immune to its boil effects. With later experimentation and knowledge he learned he possessed both the katon and suiton chakra types which creating the Boil Release advanced element, which his heirs inherited.

The clan although possessing a kekkei genkai wasn't treated in high status like most others, they liked their peace and didn't like much attention from the villagers. They opened up their own fisherman store in the village as well as a water filtering factory near the banks of Mizu's in homage to their clan founder. They are very much liked in their village and are a very friendly clan who produce talented and exceptional ninja. Through the ages the clan participated in quite a few wars during the ancient days which ultimatley led to many of them migrating to Konoha for better resources.

Description:
A highly respected and feared kekkei genkai that was famed in the Mist Village during the times of the Second Great War. It was incredibly deadly and was renowned as one of the "foulest mists that was ever spawned" in all of Wave Country. Futton is the kekkei genkai of the Mushiki clan that is made up of techniques that combine fire and water based chakra to create a powerful corrosive vapor capable of corroding anything due to its highly acidic properties. The user is able to access this kekkei genkai by mixing their katon and suiton chakras within their network, where they usually expel gas through their mouths, pours or even the atmosphere. Futton being the vaporous substance that it is, can take the appearance hazy white gas although its thickness can be altered by the user. It can even take on a thick foggy form which can both blind and kill targets by shrouding them in a burning abyss. When in it's acidity effect, futton naturally produces a sizzling sound which is essentially the product of it melting substances that it comes in contact with. The more acidic the user creates their vapor, the louder the sizzling will become. The Ninja who possesses the futton is capable of controlling it's level of acidity by adjusting its pH levels for both offensive and protection purposes. By synching more chakra or less chakra into their vapor, they can naturally neutralize its acid effects to make it none lethal or make it so terribly hot that it can even corrode through steel and even the Susanoo depending on the user's skill. Being a very dangerous element, futton doesn't discriminate between allies and enemies, anyone caught within the user's vapor will surely be melted despite their relationship with the user, which is why the user must master their neutralization to prevent harm to their comrades. Being derived from their own chakra however, the user is immune to their own vapor. Immediatley after exposure to the vapor, a persons skin will begin to molt and start to bleed. After the second post their skin will be immediatley corroded off and the victim will bleed excessivley, killing them. Eventually after repeatedly exposure the person will completely corrode, vaporizing them entirely.

The Viz release puts this more of a "corrosion" style acid than anything which means more here than what you wrote. Not that you wrote it wrong, I just think the free scanlations don't give you the strength of the ability entirely.

The acid has the ability to melt or "corrode" chakra itself. Susano'o is nothing but the user chakra materialized into the war god, so when she melted Sasuke's lesser version of Susano'o the fact that chakra can be "destroyed" or corroded is possible. So depending on the type of jutsu (most techniques), and acknowledging advanced elements over normal elements, your mist techniques would be able to weaken or completely destroy techniques depending on rank. Slower techniques wouldn't do much damage but fast ones would. For instance, no Kage Bunshins would make it through your most, but a quick jutsu like Chidori Eisou would.

The effect it has on humans isn't necessarily "melting" from what I've seen and read, but more like being burnt by acid. Sasuke's arms began to "corrode" and his cells began to die. Someone in your mist would

1. Begin to lose the ability to form chakra due to cells being destroyed
2. Experience tremendous amounts of pain.
3. If not attended to, the body would be unable reverse the affects of the acid.
4. ETc etc

What's powerful about what I read int he Viz Release is the word 'Corrosive Acid' which they use to label the function of Boil Release. So it can mean you also can create different types of acid, or use the "base" and modify the pH levels. With some skill at a high rank, you may be able to create a dangerous acid..

Besides receiving some great information about the Boil Element from you, I wasn't entirely sure if my application had some errors. So excuse me if I missed something.

Add a time it takes to melt per rank to each of the jutsu.

For fairness sake, given the power of the element, divide the damage to a ranked and time form. I.E:

D rank effects does this and this within this time
C rank does this and this within this post time
etc

But that's not really fair in comparison to other dangerous elements such as fire, lava or lightning. Thats like adding a post duration on how long it would take for a target to melt/die if hit with a lava jutsu, which I can only assume to be instant since its well... lava. Same scenario with vapor. Scaling Boil with rank would not only jeopardize its lethality but would probably downgrade it even to something less then a basic element at lower ranks, which isn't quite fair for a advanced element. Fire is fire, lightning is lightning and vapor is vapor, no matter would rank you serve it in., Sir.

Fair point. I hadnt considered it like that. But the only reason I wanted further specification and/or further limitations is because essentially the way it is written [from what Im seeing/understanding ]is you can essentially defeat and or kill anyone in two posts with a D rank jutsu assuming contact is made.
