Everything had been far too normal for Katsumi; nothing was happening, the world seemed to be at peace. Which was Katsumi's main concerned. Peace meant that war was coming soon, or worst revolution that would grow out of hand. But he would have to wait to assess the situaiton until it really presented itself. He would soon leave this place, the village of Konoha, for his own path to power. He didn't know what he would do with it, but he knew that this wasn't going to work. He wished to protect everyone here for as long as possible, just not from the position he was currently in.
He firgured that everything would need to be worked out soon, but it would come in due time. For now he needed to focus on the training at hand. If he couldn't master these techniques, he would soon fall vitcim to a rogue nin, which more than anything would result in an embarassing death for him.
He had made his way to thr training center to focus on a new technique that would change the face of his entire style. A forbidden technique that was learned by the very elite few: Kage Bunshin no Jutsu.
Katsumi already had an idea of what this jutsu would take, and the time he would need to do it in, but the sheer fact he had to made him want to distance himself from the training of any kind.
He walked into the training center, and sat down, looking around as he did. He didn't notice anyone here, which was common in a time of peace, but he knew all too common what would happen if he didn't prepare himself.
He sat and thought for several minutes, letting small bits of a deeper thought cross in and out of his mind, 'What is it to splut yourself? Will you be both or one with another? Is it just your chakra that splits or is it your entire persona?
Katsumi shook his head and laid back for a moment. He looked at the sky and sighed to himself. He didn't want to train, he just wanted to know how to perform the technique already. But who didn't? Katsumi thought that only his speed and strength should be honed in, not this ninjutsu which he still wondered about.
He knew that his clone technique was the most useful jutsu that he could use, but he liked the sensation of simply fighting an opponent in a taijutsu match. Something that simple couldn't be tainted by worrying about the battlefield constantly changing.
Katsumi finally sat up and brought his hands together, gathering what he estimated to be half his chakra. He continued to focus on his chakra size, and trying to manipulate it into a fine percentage. He didn't know if it was possible to split it completely down the middle. To offer this much chakra so he could witness the other's vision, the other's thoughts, and the other's senses.
It would be mind blowing, something that in depth. Katsumi continued to think as he charged his chakra, 'Will this work? Can I perform this on the first try? The first attempt or will I fail at what I'm doing? Will I waste 50% of my chakra for nothing?'
Katsumi let the jutsu activate on its own. A swirling white cloud appeared around the jutsu, making him wait several moments before he witnessed his masterpeice. It was a perfect match. It looked like Katsumi, and from what he could see it could move like him. Katsumi waited and slowly pushed the clone, which held its ground. It looked at him and asked, "What the hell do you think you're doing?!?"
