She still lived in that same humongous house, and even though he had food to eat, a nice house to stay in as well, the smile that lingered under his skull-branded balaclava reminded him of the time when he had no home. In a way, he was still jealous of her, even though it had been a long time, at least a decade or so since he last saw her. As things got busy with his family and relationship life, Nasamea and Shihouin had long since forgot about her. Of course it wasn't out of cruelty or anything, the path of life they were on led them away from an old friend. However this time, Shihouin would try to made amends.

Being on squad duty with about three other ANBU as leader made having time for anything he wanted easy. They were patrolling this part of the village at random, and since there were rich, "high interest" people in the homes below them, they were always intrustcted to baby sit the area everynow and then to keep it cleaned up. His group was situated over Ayame's house, high in the trees that surrounded the area. One of the ANBU members grew a bit impatient, it was time for the next patrol.

"Shihouin-san, shouldn't we be leaving?" he asked, sitting a few branches below him, perched properly on it. Shihouin was the only one that stood out for the typical ANBU look. The dirty-white skull bottom underneath his black shades slowly turned towards his junior. "If you want to leave so fast, take the rest of them with you, I have business to attend to." The junior nodded slightly and rose his hand to signal the rest of team. The leaves of the tree shook a bit, and they left Shihouin on his own.

He looked back down tot he house and grabbed a couple of kunai from his pocket. One of them was prepped with an explosive note wrapped around the hilt, and the other one had a smoke bomb dangling on the end of it. After growing into a man, the childish grin on his face still came back, and those mischievous, asshole ideas came surfacing back. He was intent on messing with her. He took a slight descent unnoticed down the tree untill he was about 8 meters above the ground. There was a window near the door, something easy to break to startle the ones inside.

He didn't even bother to use the Sharingan to check if there were children inside, he left all of that up to Ayame. Throwing both kunai through the window, the shattered glass would probably set off some type of alarm. The smoke bomb would blow up first, followed by the tagged note and it would probably cause a lot of commotion in the house. Meanwhile, Shihouin moved down from his perch and took a very comfortable, and lax position outside on a bench near the front door. It didn't suit his ANBU attire at all for him to be sitting like that, and more than likely he'd end up suffering for it. Or maybe Ayame would remember.... Who knew? It would be interesting to say the least.

“Lady Ayame you shouldn't be eating such junk so early in the morning.” Ayame stopped suddenly as her cook, a soft spoken woman with brown in her early forties wearing a professional black dress and a white apron while holding a gold colored trey with a silver plate and silver cover on it, stood right outside of the kitchen with her arms crossed while tapping her right foot in an impatient manner. Right now, Ayame is in a tip-toed position while attempting to grab a honey bun from the top cupboard not but a few seconds ago before she was caught red handed. With a quick and awkward smile, Ayame slowly placed the honey-bun back into its rightful place.

“Ok, you don't understand, Lynn, I can't eat that stuff right now, I need something with sugar in it.” Her cook simply chuckled at Ayame's comment. “Now, you know you can't have sugar this early in the morning, you always become overwhelmed by a sugar rush, you do remember the last time you had sugar in the morning, do you?” Ayame hung her head in shame as she recalled the events back when she was still a child and nearly destroyed the place with her uncontrollable energy. “Yeah...”

Lynn chuckled once again. “Then you should be more careful of what you eat. Plus, I made some of your favorite, eggs and bacon.” Ayame's head raised in excitement at this news, finally no more of that horrid fish and rice she was forced to eat a majority of the mornings. Curious to see what was going to be her first meal of the day, Ayame quickly went over to Lynn and placed her hand on the lid.

Right about the time, she was about to open it to see the contents inside, her instincts started to kick in something in her peripheral vision caught her eye. Noticing that something that looked to be a kunai attached to another object was coming straight for the window, Ayame quickly raised the lid and placed it in front of her before trusting it forward not even a second after the kunai hit the window and then lowered the lid to close right on top of the counter with force, an explosion caused by the tag causing some vibration down from within the insides of the lid, surely damaging it as well as the counter, but keeping her and Lynn safe.

“Lynn, hurry up and get out of here.” Ayame whispered, her seriousness quickly overwhelming her as she searched for the culprit who had the balls of steel to assault her within her own home. Lynn nodded her head and took the food with her as she went over towards Ayame's home entertainment center the middle of the house, which was covered by several layers of curtains for added effect so it would qualify as one of the safest areas of her house. After a second of searching, Ayame's eyes went straight to the sunglasses of some guy sitting on a bench in a relaxed position like he's all hot shit.

“You wanna screw with me, bitch, try harder.” With her dead serious face still intact, Ayame added a lot pressure to the lid, enough to completely flaten the surface of it with her monstrous strength, using it as a Frisbee as she flipped the lid over to get a better handle on it and then throwing it towards the stranger with most of her strength.

Shihouin rolled his head over towards the direction of the door when he realized his tools didn't work, nor did his whole plan to scare her. At least, in that situation he did attempt to piss her off, he was sure of that. Those windows probably cost more than the entire outfit he had on, and if he would have damaged the inside, he was looking at a few zero's being automatically withdrawn from his account.

But for such a tall and long figure to be lounged around like that didn't look right, especially since he was from ANBU. Shihouin perked his senses up as he listened, waiting until she unlocked the door. His attention was caught and he looked sharply to the site, to see a woman starting at him through the window he'd broken. His face was semi-confused under his mask, he couldn't tell why she didn't just come out of the front door. As she threw the pan at him, he rolled to the side and away, to let it barely pass. He continued moved his sluggish tall body to stand up, rising up as if he had been tired after a hard days work.

Shihouin rose his hand slowly to his head after she spoke, and rose his gloved hand slowly. He pulled it up over his head and placed it on top of his head. Grabbing at the skull clad mask he had on, he pulled up slowly, letting his semi-pale neck show, and continued pulling until his lower lip, nose and eyes were finally shown. Holding the mask down to his side, he looked directly at his old comrade in the face and smiled mischievously, as he did in the past.

He walked a bit closer towards the door and lifted a finger towards it. "You wanna open the door? I think it's a bit rude that you talk to me through the window. It's been at least 10 years and this is how you greet an old team mate? I think I was better to you than that..." He spoke, smiling as he said it, becuase he knew she could use every single word he just did against him. And she probably would.

With her hand still outstretched, Ayame's facial expression went from battle mode to more of a neutral and softer manner. She wasn't exactly sure how she was supposed to react to seeing her old comrade that she hasn't seen in... about ten years or so. But given the situation she was currently in, with the broken window, destroyed lid, blackened counter top and possibly slightly shook up employee, she can't particularly say that this was a “warm welcome”, more like a “cold confrontation”. If she recalled correctly however, Shihouin Uchiha was always the unstable, able to kill anyone at a moment's notice without a second thought, ego-maniacal type so she can't say that she was too surprised by this greeting.

After about a second of those thoughts raising in her mind, Ayame quickly snapped back into reality as she started to remember something that was particularly important that she should take care of. Racing over to the front door, which was pretty much, right next to the kitchen, Ayame placed her hand on the knob and quickly twisted it as she pulled the door open in order to catch a full view of him. The first thing she had to do once she saw him however was titlt her head upwards as she would soon realize that he was quite taller than her now, as a matter of fact, she figured that he had at least half a foot on her.

Taking a quick note of his new found appearance, Ayame softened up a bit more. “Shi...” Without another moment's notice however, Ayame's hand extended upwards in a closed fist, aiming a puch straight to the face of the Uchiha. If the punch would connect, it would force Shihouin back up a few meters since Ayame didn't really put much effort of power into her punch. After this action however, the same lid that Ayame had thrown not too long ago would fly right above her arm, right where Shihouin was right before the contact and soon bouced off the same cupboard that Ayame was trying to get the honey bun from not too long ago and then hit a tree new her front yard, causing a huge cut in it's trunk while the lid was caught in it.

Giving a second to let her soft expression slowly deteriorate into an angry one, Ayame would soon yell out. “You bastard, you should know it's a bit rude to throw a weapon through my window and attempt to destroy my kitchen! It's been at least 10 years and this is when you greet an old team mate? I thought I was better to you than that..." Once she had gotten over the kitchen tidbit of her sentence, Ayame's voice and expression started to go from anger to a softer version of express the fact that she was upset, such as disappointment and sadness.

It wasn't so much the fact that he had attacked her, she was a shinobi and she could handle such a simple assault. It wasn't the fact that he had attempted at causing even more damage than he did, she was now leader of her clan and inherited her parents money as well as her grandfather's, she was more than equipped to get those repaired, The reason she was upset was because it's been well over a decade and she couldn't find Shihouin once she came back from her training, yet he didn't even bother to stop by until just now.

Oh man. Since when did she get this strong? Shihouin saw her hand race towards his head and for a second everything blurred out and flashed at the same time, and it fell dark in his world. The nostalgia of seeing her after so long triggered some very old memories he had of the team. His mind fell on the time they had their first spar with Kaosu-sensei. Shihouin hated Kaosu. Out of all the time he spent with a Jounin he never learned anything from him at all. Not one jutsu, not anything. What a waste of a Jounin. He couldn't believe that Ayame had advanced under him, hell who knows maybe she got stronger on her own after leaving his ass.

The fight they had was one sided, and as he remembered her, he remembered that it had been easy for him. This time though, it was far from that. His senses came back and his mind rolled, and he looked up and around as his body lay flat on the ground, looking at the lid that she had thrown before, deeply embedded into a tree. When did she get this strong? She was never this physically strong. Not to toot his own horn, but Shihouin was one step away from becoming ANBU Captain, and that was a considerable feat. He had been punched plenty of times before...

He slowly pulled his body up to stand again, holding one hand on his head as he smiled and laughed, with a slight sinister edge. He looked up at her and smiled, the bruise on his head still pulsing from the punch. "You've grown, you've grown really well." He spoke smiling at her as he stood straight up and walked towards her. He took his seat back on the porch, leaning back and taking up extra space than he needed, with his legs set wide open as if it was his porch, an his house. The wind shuffled the hair in front of his eyes as he smiled at her, mischievously once again. "Last time I remember, you were a flat-chested weak brat." He eyed her chest. "Now you've turned into some big-boobed babe with monstrous strength. It's been way too long..." He chucked a bit.

"But you know I only like messing with you." He sighed loudly and continued on. "It seems to be just us two. Our makeshift team split up a long time ago, and I think it'd be fun to take some time off every now and then. All of us. Problem is I can't find Nasa, anywhere. You've got deeper connects than me in ANBU, all I hear is your family name among upper management. Do you know where she's been? It's not a question of love interest... I just have this idea I want to run by the two of you... If you don't mind listening."

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 12:11 am

Once he had gotten up from her punch and made himself comfortable on her bench, Ayame simply leaned on the railing of her stoop as she let her elbows fall on top of it, eying Shihouin with a certain curiosity, noticing his tremendous growth as well via his height difference as his growing facial hair and for a second, a flashback of that 14 year old impatient jerk had started to go through her mind and then she smiled once reality made its way into her vision once more. 'I wonder if he's grown mentally as well, into a more humble and well thought out kind of guy.' She thought to herself as she placed her left hand over her chin.

"Last time I remember, you were a flat-chested weak brat."Guess she was wrong there. Her left hand escaped their thoughtful position as her right eye started to twitch a little, showing her growing anger at the comment. "Now you've turned into some big-boobed babe with monstrous strength.” Catching where his eyes were aiming at when he said this, Ayame's face turned dark red as she quickly crossed her arms over her chest to instinctively cover them, though to no true avail due to their size, as she turned her head over to the opposite direction of her former teammate. “Well, you've grown quite a lot yourself, Mr. I can scale a building in one step.” Ayame remembered when they almost matched in height back in the day as she said this, but now, he could practically tower over her.

Once Shi would go on the subject of Nasa's whereabouts, Ayame quickly forgot about the past subject at hand as she spun her head over to look over in Shihouin's direction. In all honesty, Ayame thought he would have known since it seemed as if they were closer together than anything. She wouldn't have even been surprised for him to up and say that they had tied the knot, but obviously, that wasn't the case at this point. She also finally took the time to notice that he was wearing traditional ANBU gear and had to be a part of them, which she actually felt proud of considering that being in the ANBU was all he would talk about when he was a teenager so to finally live his dream had to feel good for him, better than living her dream as Akira clan leader anyways.

Thinking through her memories of the ANBU Black Ops, Ayame recalled certain things that used to go down within there due to her family usually attaining that title at one point or another, and going so far as her grandfather being Captain of the organization before he died, but she never really paid much attention to them anymore because it reminded her too much of her past guardians so she tried to distance herself from it as much as she can, which prevented her from joining when offered at one point.

Letting her head go down until the floor was completely in her vision, Ayame's mind set onto the hooded figured she saw years ago that she swore had to be her father, Kenji Akira, one of the ANBU All Stars. It made her wonder what he was doing, why he left, and a bunch of other things, then there was her grandfather, the former ANBU Captain. She started to remember all of the times he trained her to the best of his abilities, the first time he allowed her to witness his Bakyaku for the first time, the first time he easily defeated her without even trying when she was 15, and the last time she spoke to him while on his deathbed.

Snapping back into reality after that, Ayame raised her head and stared out towards her neighbor's lawn. “Can't say I've heard much, I haven't really been in contact with ANBU for a while due to personal reasons ever since leading the Akira clan, which is why you don't see me sporting an animal mask and tattoo on my right arm. I do believe that word on the street said that she disappeared at one point though, but that could just be a rumor going on.”

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 12:49 am

To no avail had contacting her worked. However his plans weren't trashed. He'd just have to do a little bit more digging than usual, wait a bit for the right contacts and he'd find her. It wouldn't be too long. Shihouin's mind fell over everything he wanted to talk about, and hopefully she would agree. What he was proposing was something that hadn't happened in a long time, and hopefully everything would go smooth. They fit the bill of a group that deserved such a status, and especially the two of them. Ayame fit the perfect descendant of history's own "Naruto" and had some tendencies from the old Hokage "Tsunade" as well. Of course he played his counterpart as "Sasuke", but appreciated the genius of "Orochimaru" more.

Despite all this he wanted to attain power. Shihouin rubbed his eyes a bit and looked back at her, putting his elbows on his thighs as he loosely held his hands together and looked up at her from his position. "I was thinking maybe we could get together and destroy the village..." He laughed sinisterly, a soft laugh and an evil smirking grin. "Don't punch me I'm just kidding around... What I had in mind was something different. I'm not deep in ANBU at all, I'm a more liberal division, so I spend a lot of time doing more things like a normal ninja, just using a different set of skills for different... applications if you will." He got on with what he was going to say. "So I have the time to move around and be sort of lax. Not to mention some of my own talents allow that."

Of course he felt that she would want him to move the conversaion a little bit more, or at least he assumed that much. He was never too good with words, and his direct style of talking usually ended up getting him in trouble with superiours. Now that Ayame had the strength of 1000 bulls, he would have to watch out for her as well. As a matter of fact, the bruise from his head was still pulsing and it still hurt. "Lately here I feel like the village has been too peaceful. Too soft. When old man Hokage died, things weren't as hectic as I assumed they would be. Of course the new Hokage is more than talented, but we need a back up. That back up is going to be us. All three of us."

Shihouin continued on. "It's like something out of a manga or some shit. It's pretty much cannon. Me and you have roots deep in the village. We're Naruto and Sasuke, Tsunade and Orochimaru. Of course Nasa doesn't fit too well in the picture, but thats where things get a bit original. We should become Sannin, fuck maybe even stronger than that. You know I can't stand being weak, and the kids in the village need something to look up to." Shihouin put his back on the back of the seat he was on, tapping his hands on his thighs. "Of course though.... that means we need to do something to get to that level of acknowledgement... However those details I'm going to keep secret until the time is right, I want all three of us to be in attendance for that. You on board so far? Come on I know you can't resist it. You pretty much have it already. In a roundabout way you're technically my boss with ANBU and all."

It was weird that he would be suggesting that they become Sannin. Almost like he was 100 percent certain that they would if they did what he had suggested. Long ago, the Sannin were given that name because they were talented enough. They were given that name by an even greater power. However, Shihouin always had some plan, some assumption or some strung out sense of thoughts which he could manipulate into action. He knew it was a bit suspicious, but at the same time having three people in the village with that level of power would ensure its safety for a long time, and he was sure she couldn't turn that down.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 10:35 am

With the past couple of weeks being nothing but snow and hail in Konoha, the familiar's sun casted forth a warmth which not only cured the land of its unwanted blanket but even brought out the cave dwellers from their homes. Aside from the ninja and those who needed to go out for chores and such; Konoha's population seemed almost as if it declined. This wasn't the case whatsoever though.

When the people becoming more active today in the light; the dark would begin to stir more as well in search of a balance. Due to this it was necessary for more ninja to go on patrol and increase their mission work load. Spring seemed to be on its way. This thought warmed the hearts and souls of all except the snow lovers.

"Sis! Sis! Sis! Sis!"
"Sis! Sis! Sis! Sis!"

Along with these credited ninja was the new cadet in ANBU, Arcadia Kinzoku. She was documented in the archives as a single woman living in her parents home and taking care of her two younger siblings. However, due to the fact that she appears rather different than the rest of the Kinzoku family and even her mother, it was believed she was adopted. No papers revealed this though but they also couldn't find a birth certificate. "She wasn't born in a hospital" Raiden Kinzoku would say, "just drop the subject". Raiden was the belowed grandfather and said to be the one that brought her to Konoha from somewhere in Suna's wasteland. At least the story is half right.

"Sis! Sis! Si-"
"Sis! Sis! Si-"

"You both know that you're wasting energy by doing that. It won't make me go any faster nor will it make the cashier feel obligated to rush and possibly mess up our order."

The cashier scanned a carton of milk before he peered up at her with a confused face. He blinked once and Arcadia simply winked, showing her joking nature which could only make him smile. It was obvious that he still didn't understand. He had been staring down at the grocery items as they scan as though trying to avoid looking at Arcadia. Funny thing was, not to long ago he was staring at her until she noticed. Men...

"But siiiiis, we want to go with you!" said the boy, his voice sounding a bit scratchy with every word he spoke.
"Yeah sis, that babysitter is scary" said the girl, her voice being a cross between a high and low range English sound. She sounded like a full blown good whiner, especially at the moment.
Arcadia didn't budge though.

"You both also know you can't go with me, I have important matters to deal with. Besides, you both would get bored and I can't have you creating bombs again like the last time you both became bored."

They both grinned at each other menacingly, the cashier looked at them again with the same confused expression. By the he was scanning her last item too, a chunk of cheese. Upon placing it in the bag, Arcadia could now pay.

"Besides, your baby sitter is a nice lady and I think you two should respect her a bit more considering she waits you both hand and foot. Only reason she's mean is because you both harassed her beloved cat and decided to take silly string to her kitchen...."-

"That cat attacked us first!"

"Yeah...and I bet the silly string just happened to fall into your hands..."

After Arcadia paid she began to grab her bags. The other two weren't needed this time but the girl grabbed one for Arcadia anyway. Despite their chaotic nature it was usually the boy who started it all and the girl who helped out of force. Michi, the boy, was just a mastermind and knew how to threaten the girl, Amaya. It concerned Arcadia too; her mind always wondering how Michi would be once he grew up.

"Well," he crossed his arms defiantly, "it did."

"Suurreeee, now come on let's go. Mrs. Akihiro is waiting."

With that said, the two young children gave a deep sigh which Arcadia once again ignored. She rolled her eyes at them in attempt to show them their attempts were futile; she wouldn't be persuaded. Truth is, she was lucky their babysitter loved these two even after their antics. Arcadia figured it was because the woman received decent pay since the start. Arcadia knew of these two and their plans; or you could say she knew Michi's leadership skills. He couldn't resist a prank and Amaya was too easily persuaded. Tell her the sky was purple and she might actually believe you if you worked on her long enough. This easily made these two the double duo aside from them being twins.

"Sis! Look! An enemy ninja!"

Michi sounded sincere, causing Amaya to turn around and grasp. There wasn't even anything there but Arcadia didn't like chancing things sometimes so she obeyed his pointer finger and turned. Of course, she was right on her assumption, nothing but a puppy. She grunted and turned back around towards Michi to scold him but after doing so, the boy was running ahead.

"Michi your best bet would be to get back here!"

"I'm just going to Mrs. Akihiro's!"

'Sure he is...' she thought, shaking her head. Amaya turned back around and gazed at the running Michi before peering up at Arcadia's face. For a moment she simply stared as she saw the look of an aggravated monster. It made her unsettled but she couldn't understand the feeling. So, in a daring attempt to see what was wrong, she spoke. Her voice was weak and a bit shaky, expressing her overall shyness, "sis, maybe we should go after him."

This worked like a charm. The girl's voice broke Arcadia's solid gaze and turned her attention to Amaya. The follow up was a smile and a nod, "yes of course, let's go." Amaya smiled back, her mind instantly dropping the image of Aracadia's hard glare as they started to follow. Amaya was an innocent child, in fact she was almost too innocent. Due to this she easily got into a lot of trouble but this was mostly because of Michi.

Off in the distance Michi was making decent progress. He was trained by his father before he died and was one of the top students in the Academy at the moment for not only his brilliant mind but his fast legs. Speed was just about the only thing he had and if Arcadia did not have groceries she would easily chase him down. After seeing him head towards the rich part of town though she knew he was actually going the right way. Besides, underneath it all he was still a whining child who couldn't find to much for himself so he would still coming running back to mommy, or in this case big sister, until he was at least a Genin or so. He still had a few years in the academy though.

Michi ran and ran until finally he stopped a few blocks from the actual house. He thought he was closer than what he really was so he simply stopped to catch his breath than took a few paces forward. He would now walk the rest, his attention turning towards one of the many expensive homes as he heard talking from the front porch. He thought this may have been the house but wasn't sure, then, upon seeing a tall blonde woman he smiled and ran forward. 'This has to be it! he thought, his pace quicking until he was right up on the porch staring at a sitting man and a woman leaning against the rail. He started at the man for a minute in silence before he turned his attention to the woman and looked at her up and down.

With a surprised expression he gasped, jumped back a foot and pointed before screaming, "Mrs. Akirhiro what happened you you!? YOU'RE A BIG BUSTY BABE NOW!!!!!! And here I thought you were some old fart! We're you lying to us all along!? You must have been! I mean you still look like an old fart from the back but jeez never did I expect this! And who's that over there?" He looked at the man then back to her, "don't tell me you're a whore now too!!!"

Neglecting to rephrase the old saying, people could say he was well close to China by now and still digging.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 12:04 pm

He was waiting for Ayame to reply when he heard loud footsteps running up to their position. It was the familiar sound of childrens footsteps, some wild kid who was probably out playing the grass with his friends running all over the place. Shihouin didn't even bother to look around he used his ears to sense for him. However the footsteps were too fast for a normal kid, and they kept getting louder over time. Shihouin looked at Ayame's eyes for a second, knowing that she had to be looking in the direction of whatever foot steps were coming up.

Shihouin turned his head to see some little brat looking at him in the eye. He had to be no older than 10 years old, and as he stopped running he looked at his little chest heave up and down a little bit from running. He wasn't tired at all though, and his big mouth proved he had plenty of wind left. Who's kid was this? Shihouin knew Ayame lived in a rich neighborhood, and he'd seen kids out here before on patrol, but never someone so bold as this. Most of these kids weren't even trained unless they were from Ayame's clan, and he'd never seen this one before.

Either way he was highly pissed. Not only did he not greet them but he continued to shout. Such an annoying little voice. "Mrs. Akirhiro what happened you you!? YOU'RE A BIG BUSTY BABE NOW!!!!!! And here I thought you were some old fart! We're you lying to us all along!? You must have been! I mean you still look like an old fart from the back but jeez never did I expect this! And who's that over there?" He looked at Shihouin "don't tell me you're a whore now too!!!" Shihouin grew angry. No only had he insulted Ayame, but he insulted him too. He felt bad for a second... Damn Karma was a bitch, because he knew he'd treated his elders disrespectfully when he was younger.

Even though karma had dealt him a dose of his own medicine from the past, Shihouin couldn't tolerate kids like this. In his time he'd back up his words with talent and power. He fought the Hokage and attained a rank up because he hold his words. However he doubt this kid even had a ball sack. Before Ayame could speak, Shihouin spoke loudly. "Hold on Ayame, I'm going to shut this kid up..." This is where things would get out of hand. Shihouin had killed children before in his line of work, intentionally and accidentally. Children carried the mind of who ever raised them and were hard to break from certain thinking patterns. When certain missions were completed, sometimes children were killed to prevent the situation from arising again. To him, learning to shut his emotions off was like turning a switch. It wasn't too difficult.

While he spoke, he drew a kunai and moved his hand from his side in blinding speed, pulling it from a hidden pocket. All while sitting in his chair, his hand would move at blinding speed towards the boys jugular. Shihouin wouldn't stop at a pierced jugular though, that wasn't enough to make sure he was dead. If he hit the kid, he would force the blade through his neck. The problem with that was that kunai weren't suited for tough materials. So he would violently push the blade through the muscles in his neck, bursting the arteries flowing blood to the brain on the way. He'd push through his throat and then into his high spine. One less kid wouldn't hurt anyone.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 1:56 pm

Taking a quick glance at him to see his reaction to her not so helping information, Ayame changed her position a bit so that she was facing Shihouin by turning her body around and only letting her right arm lean on the railing while allowing her left arm to simply fall by her waist. Shi would then make himself a bit more comfortable before saying a few words that caused a bit of tensional silence to fall between them before he would start laughing maniacally and Ayame's would start to narrow. Ayame didn't think much of his “proposal” as he would always make dangerous threats and may or may not carry through with them, though the former usually was the way he went, she didn't belive he would take it that far and much less, ask her to join along so when he expressed that he was joking, it wasn't that hard forher to start loosening up again.

Once that was out of the way and Shihouin started to explain his true intentions, Ayame listened in carefully until he would eventually stop right in the middle of it all, causing Ayame to tap onto the railing impatiently. “... And, your point?” Once he would finally continue on with his explanations and ambitions, Ayame's impatience was once again replaced with simple curiosity. Hearing the reference of the legendary Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Tsunade, and Orochimaru, Ayame couldn't help that he was at least somewhat right there. She remembered that, during her summoning training, some of the older toads would always tell her she reminds them greatly of the young Naruto himself due to her indestructible determination and desire of recognition when he trained with them, and then there was her mentor, Hieki, who would say that her “Fiery Femme Fatal Fury” and unbelievable strength were nearly identical with that of her idol, the first female Hokage, Tsunade so she wasn't so unused to hearing those “compliments”.

Thinking over Shihouin's way, she couldn't help but think that his tenancies were not unlike those of the antagonists of their generation, that being the late, but still great Sasuke Uchiha and Orochimaru. Though Shihouin still seemed to be able to keep his priorities straight, he still had the same quickness, thoughtfulness, tactical , and somewhat creepy characteristics that they held. Not to mention that he had the same thirst and desire for power as she did for recognition, which was the same for both of the formers' counterparts., which made for a great base for results but a weak on for trust.

Hearing the end of his explanation, Ayame turned her head over to the side so that the road beyond her lawn was in view. Ayame knew what he meant by calling her his “boss” because it seemed like because of her family name’s high status within the ANBU, especially that of her grandfather and mother, she would always receive the utmost respect from them, causing her to be called such things as “Lady Ayame or Ayame-sama" whenever she was approached by one; it did grow quite annoying to be respected by someone else's name other than her own, but she had to live with it.

Ayame took a deep breath, as for the Sannin tidbit, she wasn't exactly sure how she would go about it, obtaining that kind of power and acknowledgment would be an awful lot of responsibility, possibly a bit more than she was sure she could handle, plus, how could Shihouin even be this sure that they would be able to make it all the way to that level with his proposal. But then there was the fact that she did want to bring back the knowledge that females had what it took to excell in the shinobi world and having Nasa on board with it would cause a serious boost to go on, and then there was... her father, who she hadn't been able to locate in years, perhaps it would be a bit easier if she had a name for herself outside of the village.

“Well...” But before she could continued, Ayame started to hear some faint footsteps off in the distance and her vision would make its way back into reality as she got sight of a child running towards their direction. Taking a quick look at Shihouin at the same time he did the same and looking back, Ayame started to grow a little bit uncomfortable as it looked like he was heading for her house.

Once her thoughts were proven right when the kid ran over to her porch and took a quick stare before going over to her. Once they traded stares, Ayame could see that Shihouin was giving off a very violent look in his eyes that set the uneasy feeling in her mind off to another level, which caused her to start sweating just a tad. 'No... he wouldn't... not to a kid...' Next thing she knew, however, the kid started yelling out a bunch of stuff she didn't really understand, calling her not only a busty babe, which is starting to grow quite irritating as he would be now the 2oo-300th person to call her that, an old fart, and Mrs. Akihiro (The hell is that, anyways?); he would then refer to her as a whore, which would certainly strike a nerve.

Just as she was about to instinctively send this kid flying however, Shihouin would go on the make his own impact by “Shutting this kid up” in a way that Ayame knew was more than simply covering his mouth. Taking this into account, Ayame quickly patted her back to realize that her sword wasn't strapped to her back. 'Crap, that's right, I haven't put it on yet.' Since it was so early in the morning and Ayame had just recently been in the shower but a half an hour or so ago, she wasn't equipped with any of her ninja gear as of yet, that included her bsic tools, sword, weights, or even her shoes, as a matter of fact, all she was wearing was an orange t-shirt and a pair of shorts so she had to think on the spot.

Just as Shihouin pulled the kunai from his tool collection, Ayame quickly took into account that she could easily follow his movements to the point that she was probably near twice his speed without her weights so as he was about to extend his arm, she quickly pulled the kid by his shirt collar just enough to give Ayame enough room to quickly move in between the two with her back towards Shihouin, then grabbing his wrist tightly just as the tip of his kunai was inches away from her rear end. Probably appearing as teleportation to the young boy due to both Ayame and Shihouin's speed compared to his vision, he most likely didn't even see the kunai coming for him, which is what Ayame was hoping for.

Giving off an extremely nervous laughter, Ayame scratched the back of her head with her free arm. “Oh, don't mind what he said, he's such a kidder at times.” As she placed emphasis on the word “kidder” Ayame tightened her grip on his wrist enough so she could hopefully force him to drop the weapon he had in his hand before letting it go. “Sweetie, the name is Ms. Akira, not Mrs. Akihiro, I think you're mistaking me for someone else. Shouldn't you be with a parent, or... I don't know an older sibling of some sort?”

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 3:15 pm

It all happened so fast. Here Michi was standing before what he thought was Mrs. Akihiro when all of a sudden this man sprang at him like a wild cat on its prey. Michi's attention instantly twitched to Shihouin before all a sudden a yellow flash stopped him dead in his tracks. Michi, who stood there with the deer in head lights expression, nearly fell over but his pride kept him on his feet. The survival instinct was triggered and he soon noticed his hands were balled into fists. Not like he could protect himself but he was still holding tall and his pants were not wet whatsoever.

After the woman spoke Michi simply stared at her with confused eyes. He had restrained himself from peering at her overall form since he now had more respect for her than that, but his eyes couldn't leave her. She just saved him and yet he couldn't utter a word. What was with that man?

When the familiar forms of his sisters were walking down the street, his eyes twitched towards them. He peered at them almost as though he were witnessing illusions before suddenly his fearful expression transformed to false strength. His loud mouth skills came back and his pointer finger was now launched at Shihouin.

"Your husband is crazy! Don't have kids with him! HE'S A CHILD HATER!!!!"

After that he turned and ran as fast as he possibly could towards his sisters.

Arcadia heard Michi's voice before she noticed him. He shouted something about a child hater before she saw him running off a porch and straight towards her. She blinked and Ayama turned her head towards him with the same confused look. Michi dove right into Arcadia, nearly knocking her off her feet, and grabbed her leg. He then started to fake cry as she buried his face into her.

"Michi?"

Michi kept the act as he then shouted into her leg, "Mrs. Aki-Aki-AKIRA's husband person tried to kill me!!!"

"Mrs. Akir-" she gasped. Her attention then turned to the house before she placed her hands against Michi's back. A single nail dug into him before he shuddered and nearly stopped crying. It was a single to end all he was doing and now. At that point, he knew he screwed up.

"Bro, Ms. Akira is a single woman and the leader of ANBU."

That definitely made him stop. He then looked up at Arcadia with dry eyes as Arcadia peered over to the house. She had that serious look on her face that made his bones shudder and his hands instantly let go. With her leg now free, Arcadia then released the bags lightly on the ground and walked gingerly towards the house.

Every move she made marked a certain grace that revealed she was possessed more skill than she let on. The world in her mind seemed silent as she came closer to the porch - her mind blurring a bit. She felt she had been here before but then again not. All of Konoha was like this though so she brushed the thought aside. With each step she thought of a way to handle this, knowing Michi obviously did something stupid. Ayame Akira was the leader of ANBU and seeing as how she was a new cadet in the group she was obviously screwed in one way or another. If she lost her job cause of this Michi would find himself suffering some severe consequences. Enough to where if he knew he ran now he may as well go straight to the graveyard.

She appeared before them almost like a normal civilian. Her chakra levels were hidden to the point she seemed weak and fragile. Her movements were graceful, their flow interesting to most, and her eyes burned with the flame of a prideful fighter. She was a ninja, she was in ANBU, but to most she was a normal woman taking care of her siblings. She was never really seen her fight, making them wonder how she was a Jounin, and whenever seen she was with her "siblings". This woman, Arcadia Kinzoku, has always been seen as an odd human since entering Konoha as a skill shiobi. She was kind hearted and her innocence called forth men of all types; especially the fiends who feasted on weak woman. She always did away with them though. It made others wonder how she was still even a virgin - as in, how come she hasn't been raped yet. Wasn't it normal for the innocent to be weeded out and attacked? All of this together made Arcadia appear rather... eerie.

"Madam Akira," she said, her voice most likely sounding familiar to the two except more grown and actually, polite?, "my younger brother Michi ran out of my sight and I thought he knew where his babysitter lived but apparently not. If anything he said offended you...er...the two of you... then- ahh"

At first she only noticed Ayame but after seeing the man behind her she nearly gasped. In fact, she did.

"Oh my apologies, I didn't notice that there was two of you here. I'm sorry if Michi and I interrupted something. I uh," she looked down with shame as red crossed her cheeks, "sorry. I-I should go."

She peered back up, her attention adverted to the grass as the red continued to cross her cheeks. She then turned away with a look of anguish as she made a move to exit the porch. Soon enough she would return to her siblings if they let her go. She just hoped she didn't lose her job. One thing for sure, she was obviously embarrassed.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 6:22 pm

Damnit Ayame! As she grabbed his wrist and squeezed too tightly he dropped the blade, letting it clank against the ground. He had plenty more where they came from.Because of her he was spared and Shihouin's anger had been released. At least he was calm now, it would suck getting orders from the Hokage and getting disciplined by him... It would end up going right back to Ayame anyways, she'd probably have her way with him and break a few ribs for punishment. Shihouin grinned at the kid, and then turned his head, keeping his kunai in his hand as he looked off in the distance to a vaguely familiar face.

Even though the kid had a literal brush with death, he had some guts and wasn't sitting there crying. Shihouin guessed he didn't realize how close he had been to a very painful death. Either way, if he caught the kid alone he'd be lunch meat. Even now, he kept running his mouth. "You know something kid? You know why I'm in the Ops? It's because they can't give me children. If they did, every single one of them would end up dead. I do not go soft on children. I've killed plenty of pregn---" Shihouin closed his mouth as he looked up at Ayame. There was no need to take it any further. He blinked hard and stood up from his position. "Tch... damn kids." He hissed under his breath.

Off in the distance the memory of him looking over someones file popped in his head, a new recruit in ANBU, a grunt as he called them. She was pretty talented by her file, but he hadn't seen her in action yet. However, he did see one thing. That she was dressed as a civilian and off duty. Boy was she very mistaken. ANBU member's lost out on normal lives. They didn't have those luxuries. Technically, he could only remove his mask in front of Ayame's face freely, there was no one else he could do that to besides some ANBU members and the Hokage himself. Under no circumstance were they allowed to do normal civilian tasks. He twirled the kunai on his finger, catching it with the blade pointing out as she walked closer and apologized for the brat stepping out of line.

Before she could step away, Shihouin grabbed her by her collar and turned her around to face him. Of course he towered over her, and he intended to mess with her. As a grunt she was out of line. "Hey, HEY!" he sharply yelled as he slapped her quickly in the face, causing her hair to jostle around a bit. "Who the hell said you can resume normal activities? I've read your file... You're new obviously, but you're going to learn fast." With his left hand in a blur of speed, it rose up under her chin and grabbed it, holding her head up to his face. He used his right hand, the one with the kunai and pressed the blade against her neck, piercing the skin and making it bleed. He was only a few centimeters away from killing her, but he wouldn't.

His Sharingan rolled in his eyes as he forced his sight on her, looking around in her thoughts and searching her memories. As he searched around he realized hers were a bit different than normal... He could see strange thoughts, cloudy memories that he didn't feel like diving into. He heard a roar.... and oddly familiar roar, and his own memories clicked. He forced himself out of her mind, and titled her head back and forth, looking over her body. This was weird.... "Ayame, tell those kids to run as fast as they can or go in the house."

He waited for about thirty seconds, and held Arcaida's face in his left hand. After some time, he moved the kunai from its horizontal position and pointed the tip of it at her neck. "Keep your neck still, do not move or I will kill you." Every single word had been sinisterly serious. He intended on doing it if she moved. His left hand dropped silently and in a second, his quick hands switched out. The left one caught her open throat and he gripped tight, choking her... Of course Ayame wouldn't stand for this, sos he spoke quickly. "ANBU agents aren't allowed to have normal lives Ayame and you know that. When I catch grunts doing the same thing she's doing right now I always force my Sharingan on them and see where they've been so I can pick up their mess and then force them to head back to HQ. However... When rummaging through her thoughts....I found some of Nasa's... Unless she's completed some forbidden kinjutsu there's no way you can take people's thoughts." He turned his attention to her. "You have 10 seconds to cough up everything you know." He slung her down to the ground in a harsh throw, sending her gasping for air as she slammed against the ground. Kicking her lightly in the back of the head, he rose his foot up and slammed it on the side of her head, pressing down her head as he towered above her, waiting for her to start talking.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 8:16 pm

“Wha- my husband?” But before Ayame could even make a good denial of this factor, the kid would suddenly run off while leaving Ayame in a shocked/dazed state, partially due to her imagining what that would be like. In her mind, she figured that it, thanks to Shihouin's completely unstable violent nature, would end quickly with one or both of them being dead, giving a whole new meaning to “Till death do us part.” Nevertheless, if anyone was to ever be married to the Shi that Ayame new, they had better get some training and a life time supply of tranquilizer quick if they wanted to ever have an anniversary, but that was just Ayame's, and probably every woman's and some men that have witness this nature's, view on it.

Watching the kid run off to what appeared to be his siblings or guardian(s), Ayame simply sighed 'Someone's gonna have to get Shihouin a leash one day because if this is what the few Uchiha have left to represent them, they might drive right back into the ground towards extinction due to not being able to have kids....ever.' Turning her vision towards said Uchiha, Ayame crossed her arms as she expressed her concerns. “Shi, seriously dude, you can't just kill everyone and everything that annoys you or gets in your way. Look, I know while you're in ANBU, you have to learn to have no emotions, but you can't just go around losing your soul as well.”

Next thing she knew, she heard a voice that sounded strikingly familiar yet not at the same time call her name in a fashion that indicated that she viewed Ayame's status above hers, meaning that from the bat, she's probably either yet another servant that's way too loyal to her and her grandfather or an ANBU member. Taking a second to trace the voice over to the woman that greeted her, Ayame immediately figured that she wasn't a servant as she took the time to get to know each one of them at one point or another due to her wanting them to be trustworthy as well as viewing them as just as much a person as she is, even if everyone else, including themselves, thought otherwise, so she depicted the woman as an ANBU member right there.

It was strange though because from her knowledge, she could have sworn that most, if not all ANBU members were basically forced to give up their natural lives, even her grandfather, who was one of the if not the, top dog(s) of the organization, was never really home and gave his all to the ANBU squad, leaving Ayame to mostly fend for herself as a child. Taking that out of mind for just a quick moment, Ayame gave off a laughter as she heard the woman's apology “Oh, it's quite fine, we were all kids once, right?” She also couldn't help the fact that this woman was oddly familiar, she couldn't exactly place her finger on it, but there was something strange about this woman.

Understanding what she might have meant by “interrupted something” Ayame's face started to grow a bit how, why was it that she could never hang out with someone of the opposite gender and not be intimate them in others' eyes? Before she could even protest the fact however, Shihouin had already seemed to be taking matters into his own hands as he expressed his own version some of the same thoughts Ayame was thinking in his own unique fashion, yes the same fashion that prevents him from having offspring.

Ayame just sighed once again as Shihouin grabbed her neck and pierced it. '…. Yep, definitely in need of a leash.' Ayame restrained herself from stopping him as she knew that he knew that if he did in fact kill her, Ayame wouldn't take too kindly to that so she just stood there for a second as his Sharingan would activate. Once he told her to get the children out of there though, Ayame knew that something was about to go down and if it's something that he had enough of a good conscience to not allow children to see, it was something big. Taking this notification seriously without hesitation, Ayame quickly replaced her shocked face with a fake smile as she placed her hands on the backs of the children while pushing them inside the open house. “Hey, who wants to play some of the latest video games, I even have a few that aren't even out yet.” As she continued on, she lead them all the way inside the house, through the 4 layers of red curtains until it was nearly complete darkness, a glimmer of light still showing from Lynn crying into a box of napkins watching her soap operas on their 40 inch plasma.

After Ayame made a couple claps, the room would soon illuminate with light bullbs identical to ones you see in a movie theater that held 16 black leather chairs that were organized by 4 columns and 4 rows in front of a 250 inch screen that worked with a High Definition Projector on the ceiling as well as 8 game consoles, 3 of them being a classic from Ayame's childhood days, 3 of them being the newest consoles out and 2 of them being consoles set to release in a year or so. There was also giant shelf with hundred, if not thousands of game stacked in alphabetical order and a device stuck to the lower left side of it.

Not having much time to explain where everything worked, Ayame decided to talk very quickly. “Ok, you can play any game you want, I don't even care if you break anything that doesn't involves the completely black or white ones which are very limited in numbers due to not being out yet. The projector gets turned on by the remote on the first chair and the games are over there, all you need to do is pick your category and browse through the electronic device, then a crane will handle the rest. Any other questions direct them toward Lynn, that would be the crying lady in the apron next door and enjoy yourselves.”

With that, Ayame quickly dashed over through the the layers of curtains and made it to the front door as fast as she could, making sure to pick her sword up from the diniing table and caught site of Shihouin beating the woman to the ground. “Shi, that's enough!” Not even bothering to do anything to stop him physically, Ayame would stand behind Shihouin, her hand gripping tightly around the sword and her voice sounding more firm and commanding than ever. “Just let her talk already, dammit.”

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptySun Feb 13, 2011 9:11 pm

Arcadia began to turn away with her head low as she made her way back to the kids. Before she could even take a single step though it seemed like all hell broke loose. The man, who she believed was known as 'Shi' and some random code numbers she couldn't remember, grabbed her by the collar and started to scream in her face. She knew she messed up big now, or at least Michi. She believed it had been her. After all, she should have kept a better eye on him and next she was out in public. Nobody knew she was in ANBU and she could say she was patrolling. Last thing she wanted was an interrogation though. She hated them. She hated feeling like someone was trying to break into her mind. Every time someone did she always began to get a severe headache and her thoughts became clouded.

As Arcadia whimpered and stared up at Shi with pleading eyes, she opened her mouth to speak and beg for mercy. She looked like a weak puppy before the eyes of its master and like a troublemaker she was slapped across the face. She was used to pain though. She always had a sort of immunity in a sense, or so she tried to believe. Basically she imagined herself ignoring the sting that rose on her neck. She was a ninja. She witnessed many deaths and had seen eve her own parents slaughtered in cold blood. She had murdered herself with her unique bloodline. Yet despite her powerful nature lurking beneath her layers, this said nature also wishing to break free, she continued to hold an innocent expression.

She then felt the kunai pierced her neck. The blood from her veins quickly beginning to ride down her neck as she smelt iron. It rocketed her brain into severe pain. It pulsed and it hard. With a wincing face she continued to hold on to her innocent self, a fake sounding whimper escaping her. She hoped she didn't sound like she was mocking him. 'The metal, the metal, it's just metal. Do it. DO IT!' She fought the need anyway. That is, until she heard the children cry out for her.

"What are you doing! Stop that!"
"BIG SIS!!!"

She winced again and then felt the kunai's at her neck. She heard him tell Ayame then to have the kids run or go inside. 'If he hurts them..kill them.. you know you can...just do it...' She hated her thoughts. She felt as though her darker side was rising but pushed it back. Ayame then walked over to them. She knew Ayame would protect her, or she thought. At least she would protect the children right? The kids started to fight her anyway.

"LISTEN TO HER AND GO INSIDE!!!"

This near growl like yell caused the kids to obey almost instantly. They knew not to fight Arcadia despite their own wishes. With a whimper from both they then followed Ayame; all three passing by the scene before she watched them exit into the house. By then Shi had already explained everything. Although she was baffled by his explanations. It all seemed familiar, everything, and yet didn't. Her head ached. It pulsed and pulsed and she hated it. This caused tears to even form as she tried to fight it. Like a crying baby this was the ANBU that was recently hired. She began to deny her abilities as she lay in the dirt, his foot slamming into her. 10 seconds to explain what? I didn't do anything!?'

"You must have the wrong person. What are you saying? I don't know what you're talking about" she cried out before feeling her head pulse more. She didn't know if it was Shi who was pressing his foot down more or her own head from this pulse. Her mind was clouded, time was running out as she whimpered into a fetal position. She was prepared to die. She was prepared to give up so easily. She was prepared for all that but then..suddenly..something went wrong.

Within her mind the thoughts ran through her. Blood. Shi. Ayame. The house. The blood. Kunai. Death. Piercing neck. Shi. Shi. Sharingan. Takumo. Takumo? Blood. The smell. The taste. Death. Dying. She didn't want to die. She didn't want to die in shame. Fear. Shi. More fear. A roar. Blood. Smell of medicine. More blood. Lots of blood. Nothing but blood. Her head pulsing. Body aching. Nasa. Nasa? Shi. Shi. Shi. Shi.....Nasa...Shi....

"Shi..." she whispered as though pleading, yet not. She whispered it again. This time the sound was more hoarsely. Her body quivered. "Shi...", she said it a bit louder. The cloud. The cloud dispersing. She began to see more images. Unknown images. Her as a child? Purple hair, gold eyes, what? She saw what she thought was a younger Shi, a younger Ayame. Her head ached and she quivered, her body curling up more as she tasted throw up within her mouth. Suddenly the sound of metal clinking was heard in Shi's pocket, pouch, any and everywhere he kept metal. Anything that was metal around them quivered. Her fingernails dug into the skin of her arms. More Blood.

The door opened. Someone stepped out with a sword.

It was over...

Arcadia's eyes snapped open with a flare of blazing gold as the green floated to the edges of her outer iris. She bared her teeth as she dug her nails into her skin and trembled. Blood began to seep from her nail wounds although they were not sharp. She couldn't do it anymore. She couldn't change. But this wasn't her main concern. Why was she even thinking about changing? Changing what? Her thoughts began to slowly become unclouded and she saw vague images of ... Shi?

"Shi..houin...Shoihouin..."

Her voice sounded more violent and filled with rage. Her memories began to flow back suddenly as if a veil was lifted. She was confused but right now she didn't care. Right now she knew who was above her more than she did before. She knew who had her pinned. She could feel the dirt and grass. She hated it. God, she hated it. It was he. He who hurt her. He who made her like this. He who did all this to her. She hated him with a burning rage that clouded her mind with darkness. She had fallen into the abyss and now it was questionable if she could even get better.

The metal all around her, even the sword, began to quiver violently as she gritted her teeth.

"SHIHOUIN UCHIHA!!!!!"

With a violent rage all the metal around them burst out from their pouches, pockets, wherever all aimed towards Shi. They all surrounded him as a kunais edge pierced his neck, its point aiming for him to murder him. A few more stabbed their points lightly into his skin on his arms, chest, legs, back, everywhere. There had to be well over 50 depending how much the two or three carried. Even the sword in Ayame's grasped was aimed towards him unless it happened to not be made of metal. Had it been and had she not hung on, this tool would be aimed to slaughter him as well. After this Arcadia had poofed into a cloud of smoke and appeared a few meters before him in a very territorial and violent stance.

She was ready to slaughter him. She was ready to tear him to bits. Her eyes zoned out all else but him as she glared straight into his eyes. She challenged him. She challenged him to cast a genjutsu, to do whatever, to fight her. Kill intent never burned so strong as it had today, the area feeling heavy with it. It was like a thick fog around him. She was enraged, purely enraged. The tools drove themselves deeper as she snarled, "how dare you...how fucking dare you!!!"

It had been a few years or so since they had seen her. Years since Shihouin last ripped her heart to shreds. Years for her to subconsciously dwell on the thoughts. Years of hatred built up just for this day. Years to continue to think about how she loved him. Years she wished all of this never happened. It was official, she lost everything. But what did she gain in return and what more would she continue to earn?

The weapons never left their positions around Shi as she glared. She waited for him to move, hesitated because her emotion. At this point she wondered if she even desrved ANBU. Maybe if he was a missing nin it would be easier but seeing as how he was a fellow ANBU member and above her in the ranks, things became difficult.

Normally anyones face would have been riddled with uncertainty. They would have used the kawarimi, or if they didn't have it available to them they would have called it battle over. She had him by the neck, legs, arm, head, hand... everywhere. If he moved against her kunai, or even moved a slight muscle he would have been killed in one shot. Not to mention Nasa was pissed for some odd reason he didn't too much care about. However, out of all the cold confrontations he'd had today, hers was by far the coldest. This was good though, things were moving accordingly. He chuckled a bit, evilly laughing in the face of his own demise, staring at her while he grinned like a demon.

He looked at her face, man. She was pissed. He didn't care, it was funny. Literally comedic to him. Today he'd been beaten by two women and if he didn't let her wail on him she'd beat him even more. Shihouin spoke even though his throat was bleeding. "Looks like the time you spent away has afforded you some new powers... Good good good. You'll need them. Good thing whoever did this to you didn't make you a monster... you were already a frea-" He winced in pain as she dug the tools in deeper, especially the ones in his neck. "Anyways, it's apparent you're mad at me. Even though I'm sure Ayame has enough money to buy a new neighborhood, I've already caused her enough trouble today." Shihouin spoke harshly, and struggled because she was holding a kunai at his throat, the same way he did to her, except there were a bunch of other tools pressed against his neck.

"However I don't need you mad and I need you to hear me out. It's been at least ten years since we've seen each other, and I've been looking for you for quite some time...Not that I care for you or anything, or out of love interest. That flame died a long time ago." He jeered. And because of that she pushed one of the shuriken in his shoulder, all the way until only one end of the star was sticking out of his body. He grunted in pain, still smiling as one eye trembled and shook as he fought to maintain eye contact with her, despite the pain.

"You can punch me until your hearts content. You've got 10 years of pain to let out... Go ahead. I couldn't give a flying fuck about your feelings or how you felt. What I did was wrong, but I still stand by it. You got 10 minutes to let it out, then I need you to listen to me. Deal?" Shihouin didn't close his eyes, he slowly raised his hands and put them behind his back to show he wasn't up to anything. No doubt he'd be knocked flat on his back, during this. It'd hurt, luckily it wasn't Ayame doing it. Either way, Nasamea was just as important as Ayame, and after this the three of them would have to get a long, and stay that way for along time. But at least while she punched him, he'd be smiling through all of it just to piss her off.

She heard every word he said and felt each letter like a knife that only caused the weapons to twitch more. They began to drive themselves further over time and one went through his shoulder but none had caused any true damage yet. It were almost as though she were toying with him but this wasn't the case. She wanted him to talk. She wanted to hear him cry out and plead. She also wasn't stupid. She knew Shihouin had way to much pride to shed a single tear or let out the faintest whimper. Even that smile across his face, its intentions obviously to enrage her and push her all the more, could probably not be wiped away no matter what she did. It seemed futile to fight. To kill. To even punish. This was the scenario he seemed to give her. Then, to trade it all for a single punch? HA.

"Even after all this you still seem to think of me as a fool do you. Even as you stand there, trapped", the weapons drove themselves a bit further aside from his neck, "you think I am dumb enough to run at you and punch you!?"

She grew even more enraged until the point she suddenly began to grow very calm. It was an unsettling sight, her normal personality faded as her head cleared up more and she began to process everything as she saw it. What she could do. What he may have been doing since he had not closed his eyes, and more. She had a lot to think about but each though didn't cloud her mind as her watchful eyes lingered. The weapons quivered and drove themselves a bit deeper again; a kunai stabbing itself straight through his arm as she then grinned as well.

"Just think Shihouin, you have always been a step ahead. Even now you may be and even now I may appear like a fool. But this fool is so close....so close to stealing it all away from you.... I could cut your nerves in your neck...paralyze you for life...your arms...make it so you can do everything except move your arms...but then again you would still be a hassle. Maybe..just maybe.. I could even take those damn eyes."

A kunai raised as though an invisible force was hanging onto it. This said kunai then aimed itself right at Shihouin's eye and stopped a few inches before it.

"What do you think?"

Another kunai did the same.

"Wouldn't it make things even? Kill the eyes that killed your heart. You'd lose power...that's your fear isn't it? To lose power...to become weakened...what would do without your eyes and a paralyzed body? You would spend the rest of your life in a wheelchair as a useless body. You have no one to truly care for you as well. Your comrades, maybe they're all lies. Maybe they wouldn't give a time or day for you as you sit in that chair all by yourself. How does that sound?"

She knew she was talking waaaay to much. Maybe she taking advantage of the situation way to much but she wanted him to suffer. She wanted her words to engrave themselves into his mind even though she knew he would probably just laugh at her. All talk, no action. This sudden thought caused her rage to start to build again as her eyes blazed to life and the kill intent barreled down on them all around. Suddenly, without another word, the weapons moved.

Through his arms, through his legs, into his skin, his feet, even his hands, all but the neck they pierced through him. Blood began to pour from all wounds as she drove them all in. He wouldn't die though nor would be be paralyzed or lose his eyes. She wanted him to suffer and oh how bad did she won't to puncture his eyes. She knew he was to important for Konoha though and she hated it. She knew he was still important to her, and she hated it. She just hated him. Everything about him. She could only ask why it had to be like this too.

Since she was in ANBU or since she was a ninja in general she had studied the body and it's insides so she knew where to hit. Shihouin would be injured to the point his arms would be disconnected but not unusable once reconnected, quite a few of his organs would be ruptured but not damaged to the point he would die, and the lodged weapons would make it near impossible for him to move unless he wished to suffer more damage. So much she could do but so much she hadn't. She immediately felt weak and the rage lingered to the point her eyes grew near red from the few remains of the D base but this would change as those said remains would die off. Her body couldn't support the D base anymore due to those people who experimented on her. She was a normal human now with normal abilities. Surprisingly though, she enjoyed it. Maybe she owed Shi after all.

"Move and you die but you can still talk."

By then he would probably be lying on the ground but if not he would have to turn into one hell of statue. Her arms were crossed as she stared at him though. She waited for whatever the hell he had to say, almost not caring for whatever it may be. She knew all emotions would be false or fake and so she wouldn't buy any apologies, etc. She figured he would probably tell her something so he could use her and was thus more resilient. No matter what though, she would at least listen a little.

The though about ending his life had he said the wrong thing though still continued to linger. Wise idea for him right now, no more mocking and no more grins and laughter. Otherwise, those eyes and the paralysis idea would easily flow back into her mind in less than a heart beat's worth of time.

To Ayame's surprise, believe it or not, once she commanded Shihouin to stop, things... started to get a lot worse... a lot worse. The next thing Ayame started to realize was that the woman was speaking out Shihouin's name in a very strange and slightly frightening manner and by the second, things started to get even more violent than that. 'Is it just me or is the earth starting to move?' Ayame started to feel a heavy vibration coming from all around her, mainly from her waist, specifically her sword. Trying to calm down the violent shaking, Ayame instinctively held onto her sheath as to try and keep it from shaking around too much, but to barely any avail if any at all.

"SHIHOUIN UCHIHA!!!!!"

“Holy crap.” Ayame had to cover her ears once she started hearing the girls yelling. Ok, Ayame wasn't the brightest lamp in the street but she could figure out as much as the fact that this woman knew Shihouin and that this woman was quite upset with Shihouin and then there's the oh so wonderful fact that she was probably hell bent showing both of them just how upset with Shihouin she was, at Shihouin's expense of course. The following event appeared to be right on the money as one by one, Shihouin's tools starting bursting from his pouches and pockets while at Ayame's end...

'Wait, what the hell?' Ayame started to feel her sword gain some automatic momentum as it started levitation while in her hand and eventually left its sheath to join Shihouin's tools for the party of a lifetime, no non-metal objects allowed. Again, not the smartest girl in town but by now, Ayame figured that things were going to reach beyond hectic level as the multitude of weapons started to surround the Uchiha with their sharp ends directly at nearly every inch of his body and not soon after, actually piercing many regions of his skin.

Ayame silently watched in horror as the weapons, including her own Hana Keikoku drove themselves deeper and deeper into the somewhat maniacal Uchiha's body. Yep, this chick was definitely perfect for him. Ayame couldn't help the fact that she should do something to help out, but kept getting this odd feeling that this is what Shihouin wanted and given his nature, that wasn't even too surprising at this point, but still, if things kept going down like this, he could end up permanently damaged, not to mention killed.

But Shihouin just stood there, not frightened, scared, and seemingly barely in pain, like he went through this every other day or something like that and continued to speak his intentions, that he didn't care much for her emotions or her feelings, that she could do whatever she wanted if she simply heard him out. Ayame knew what he wanted to talk about but given Nasa's current state, she wasn't exactly sure if she was going to listen to words alone, but she simply awaited a reaction.

Just as she expected though, Nasa's rage didn't lower down at all from the offer he made her, giving off the implication that this wasn't just a “Hell has no fury over a woman's scorn” moment, more like a “Hell don't got shit on this crazy ass bitch.” kodak moment, but all jokes aside, once she noticed the woman going for Shihouin's eyes, she knew that she had to stop this, they were getting nowhere like this.

Noticing that the woman's attention was aimed completely at Shihouin's with most of her concentration probably placed into keeping those blades imbedded deep within his body, Ayame knew that this shouldn't be too hard so she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to get her own concentration going so she could do what she has planned in one fell swoop, one mistake to mess everything up right here. Once the woman was done talking, Ayame opened slowly opened her eyes. It was time.

"Move and you die but you can still talk."

“Same goes for you.”

If Nasa would take the time to look down, she would see a long blade inches apart from her throat, not taking much effort to get it slit, or even have her whole head decapitated. Ayame would be standing right behind her, sword in hand and all. Still taking advantage of the fact that her weights while Nasa's attention was completely towards Shihouin were off, Ayame had utilized all of her speed and her Fuuton Ninjutsu knowledge to quickly yet silently dash behind her while silencing her footsteps and using her clan knowledge to return her sword to her.

“Look, I know you're angry and all for reasons that are beyond me, but you really need to calm down. Correct me if I'm wrong, but since you were just a kid, you've always wanted to join the ANBU , right? Well, now you're living up to your dream, but look at yourself, rookie. You lose control of yourself, your emotions, your mind, even your own soul is corrupted right now because your so bent on revenge against Shi. You're presenting yourself poorly and losing complete grip of yourself from nothing but a fellow Konoha shinobi, and from what? Neglecting you? Leaving you? Tearing your heart apart? The occasional attempt to kill you? Ok, maybe that can get out of han-but that's not the point. If you you have such a low grip on your own emotions then you should just quit now and be done with it; let your hatred and darkness swallow your heart whole and eventually destroy you from within yourself. A wise woman once told me that 'Things will happen in your life that you can't stop, but that's no reason to shut out the world. There's a purpose for the good and for the bad.' So whatever Shihouin did to you, it's no reason to shut out the whole, it's no reason to shut him out. Drop the weapons and hear him out...” At this point in time, Ayame grew immensly serious as the wind around her and Nasa picked up quite a bit as. “...Or I'll be forced to kill you right here and now...” She had to know that she couldn't possibly take Ayame on, not in her position with her concentration on Shihouin and Ayame's speed so she essentially had no choice if she wanted to live.

Every single centimeter of metal dug into his skin hurt, he couldn't deny it. No matter how much he grinned during the entire ordeal to piss her off, the grinning and superiority act did not relieve any of the pain. Even though the pain felt similar to the level of torture he went through when he started ANBU, it hurt much, much more because it was Nasamea. Even though he had swallowed up his emotions with ANBU, he was fighting to not let them get the best of him. He couldn't help but remembering her, and the good times they had.

He'd been really good to her for the first part of their relationship, but after that it was a constant downhill which left her hating him due to what he'd done to her. As he grew around his father, the need for power increased. You could blame it on the lineage of his blood, but the true blame simply fell on him being a man. A man had no reason to want to become stronger, to protect others, to avenge someone, those were all excuses in his eyes. In a world of nin-jutsu with techniques evolving everyday, the strongest would trump them all. Shihouin didn't care what happened to anyone, as long as he could obtain power from it.

And breaking up with her, casting her emotions out like a dog in the rain had made him a lot stronger. The man that she was literally crucifying had an enormous potential as a genin, and even now in ANBU being over 20 years old, he still had plenty of room to grow. He had not even developed a proper Mangekyou or any famous special signature techniques, but he felt confident in that he could take out a couple village Jounin with ease. The broken bond of love, forged a new one through hate, which allowed him to become stronger. Because it was that hate and separation, in his mind, loneliness and pain which made him stronger. It's why he wanted to be in ANBU. Love did not exist, nothing existed except the success of the mission and the kill.

Shihouin slumped to the ground, blood forming a puddle slowly beneath him. He was close to death, very close, but that wouldn't stop him from holding his tongue. "Throwing you away like trash was the best thing I ever did..." He spoke, under the security of Ayame holding a sword at her neck. "But, even through all of the power I gained I need you two to be able to get along with me for a little while. Ignore the past and let's start something new, all three of us. I don't care how much you hate me, or how much you wanna see me die... You can't resist the fact that right now you want to become stronger..." He looked her in the eye and smirked, showing his teeth. His golden eyes seemed to pierce straight through her. "Mhm, you want to. Maybe you want to become strong enough to kill me. Live for that goal then, but for now, do it in silence. Ayame has tolerated us this far, and we need to at least respect her for that. She's been good to us, let's keep our hate in silence, Nasamea. At least for her."

Shihouin's arms and legs began to tremble, he was loosing too much blood and couldn't support his own weight. His skin grew pale flush quickly, and blood dripped from the corner of his mouth slowly. His arm slipped against the wet cement of his own blood and he fell back, shaking all over. He was supposed to tell them something, but now he couldn't because he was dying. His eyes shook, as he tried regain control over his body. He etched out a few words, gurgling them out over blood which spilled around the corners of his mouth. "I need you two. I need us to g-get along... At least for now..." Someone would have to call medic ninja soon... Very soon.

Nasamea had her way with him, and if she really wanted him to die she would fight Ayame and prevent her from calling anyone. He was slipping fast, and his fate was up to the both of them.

The scene before them was like some jacked up fantasy. Typically Nasa was the type to be laying in Shi's position with someone positioning a sword over his neck to stop him but now things were reversed. With the clouds beginning to roll in roll in the world grew a bit darker as well, clearing up Nasa's heart in the process. She had stood there casually when the sword was placed to her neck, her eyes lying on Shi as though everything else around them vanished despite the fact she was still awake. His words simply flowed into her ears as though searching for something she wasn't sure about. She didn't know what she wanted from Shi now except his respect. She wished for him to see them as equals and to learn to stop screwing around with her. This happened to be his lesson even though she felt she had went easy. If she truly listened to what her mind said and ignored her heart; his body would probably be mutilated corpse.

It was then a stream of blood trickled down her chin and onto her shirt. A little red drop then hit the grass beneath her feet as another landed on the sword. She had been biting her lip in anguish because of what she had done. Her teeth, stressed due to her grinding them, had now released as well and only increased the calmness that spread over her. If it was anyone else but Shi maybe she wouldn't be so flustered but she still cared to much for him that probably wasn't good for her. She obviously proved that if he crossed her again though she wouldn't take it so lightly but for now she would listen to what he said and get along. Not necessarily for Ayame's sake either.

After the two were done speaking she knew she now had a limited amount of time to clear up what she wished to explain about the scenario. She wouldn't have necessarily had had Ayame not stepped in but now she would be wasting some time. With Shihouin's life in the balance too, she would have to make it fast.

”You know it would be wise to drop your sword…” she said, her voice dead of emotion as she directed it to Ayame; her eyes remaining on Shi. "I don't mean to disrespect you but if the fact he's alive is an obvious sign that I do not seek to kill him. If I truly wanted to..despite the hatred I showed...I don't. This was all a means of showing him not to screw with me like he has in the past. Fighting has always seemed to become a way of talking and so I saw this was the perfect way to get my message across."

She raised her hand up then and pressed it lightly against the blade. Her hand then pushed at it slightly as though requesting she be released without forcing it.

"I don't mean to threaten you or harm anyone here any further and I know it's a lot to ask of your trust right now but I can assure you by letting me go I plan to help him. He doesn't have much life left in him so the last thing you should be doing right now is holding me captive. It's not like I plan to do anything bad after all."

She seemed cocky, she seemed rude,s he seemed a lot of things right now but the truth was at this moment she didn't care. She honestly had a sense or respect even though she showed it in a weird way and all she cared for right now was to help Shi despite what she done. In short, she was an odd natured woman who was tricky to define aside from "complex". This was all mostly an act though. At first she honestly did rage but afterwards she gained control of her emotions, strength, etc in order to show Shihouin that if he truly wanted to work with her he would have to start acting like a more respectful man that prideful taunter. Otherwise she would be tempted to take him out again. Maybe she could, maybe she couldn't. Her bet on the second but she wasn't about to give up.

If Ayame let her go she would go straight to Shi and try to help him. She would remove any weapons she could and try to clean up some of the wounds the best she could before the medic arrived. She would rip off pieces of her sleeves if she had t; whatever would work. Since he was in this state he was unprotected by attacking forces to so if any suspicious figures came about; at least she was there to go on the defensive. For the most part, this was all up to Ayame now.

PostSubject: Re: "It's Been At Least 10 years"    "It's Been At Least 10 years" EmptyMon Feb 14, 2011 8:30 pm

Once she was finished with her little “pep talk”, it seemed like Shihouin wanted to express some words of his own, causing Ayame to mentally whisper the words, hoping by some preposterous telepathic way that he could hear her 'Shi... please, stop talking...', but alas, he never did, which caused more words to spill out of his mouth along with the blood that seemed to be racing with the sound waves coming from his voice box to see who could make it through his teeth the first. She just couldn't help but think to herself 'You idiot, you're just making it worse.' And he probably knew that already but just didn't care, one reason that Ayame would most likely ever understand for.

With his final plea, Shihouin collapse to the floor in a puddle of his own blood, the life of his body leaving him along with every single one of the thousands of drops of his blood. Ayame flinched at the sight of it all and even though, Shihouin was a man somewhat corrupted by a sick twisted mind in his own right, there was no denying the fact that he looked helpless in that potition, the darkness within his mind and heart keeping him from at least falling gracefully, well, that and the unimaginable amounts of blood along with the dozens of sharp metal objects imbedded deep within his body.

Hearing the voice of Nasa recommending Ayame foolishly withdrawing her weapon, Ayame's gripped tightened as her once dazed face transformed back into its seriousness, not willing t let up for a split second after that little display. 'Oh, you got a message across alright, the message that you're an unstable psycho-bitch is what I got.' Ayame felt Nasa's hand go on the tip of her blade but she was still not letting up, knowing full well that if she tried too hard, Nasa would just end up cutting herself, not that either of them seemed to care at this point or time.

Ayame listened.... she listened to every word Nasa had to say and even let them all flow through her mind a bit, but she still had a bad feeling, she felt threatened, angry, and even a bit frightened that this behavior wouldn't just end with Shi, but with others too, such as innocent people if this kind of violence and treachery didn't cease. Still letting the thoughts bounce around her head, Ayame just couldn't help but want to scowl her, scream at her, punch her freaking lights out, maybe even slight her thoat open for making her have to go through all that, the last thing she wanted to do was she her comrades in pain and this was taking to a whole other level.

But Ayame couldn't let her own emotions overtake the matter at hand, as unstable and dangerous as Nasa seemed to be at the moment. Taking out her anger on her, expressing so much mistrust, succumbing to the temptation of vengeance would make her no better than her, maybe even worse, plus, still viewing Nasa as comrade in her own right, Ayame just naturally didn't have the guts anyways, it was simply within her nature.

Letting this all sink in, Ayame finally got a grip of herself and loosened her grip on the sword, allowing her sword wielding hand to lower as Nasa went over to Shihouin. 'Unstable minds, unnatural killer's intent, complex natures....' “... You two really are made for each other...” Ayame shispered to herself before backing up a little bit, knowing exactly what to do next. “I know you guys are watching us as we speak, so why don't you stop watching and help out here?” Knowing full well that their cover was blown, the couple dozens of ANBU members assigned to guard Ayame and her house at all cost slipped out of their former hiding spots and quickly traced themselves to Ayame's side, giving her a respectful bow before going over Shihouin's side for the medical squad members to check on him. Informing the other members that they needed to carefully transport him to the hospital while using his chakra to stop the blood loss, the medical squad members removed the blades in his body while the other members carried him in the best way possible to keep him from moving before they practically disappeared in their efforts to make it to the hospital ASAP.

Ayame just placed a hand over her face as she looked at the damage done to her house within the span of 20 or 30 minutes, a pool of blood on her front porch, a broken window and a halfway ripped off tree. Yep, this was definitely one morning to remember for a while.

Weren't there children in her house too?
