Objective

Primary: Defeat the rampaging bull and bring him back to Konohagakure for butchering.

Secondary: Find a good sized chicken for meat.

Description: A client is preparing for a family dinner but cannot seem to find enough meat for his big eating family. Meanwhile, there have been reports of a rampaging bull on the plains north of Konohagakure. Find and defeat it and bring it back to Konohagakure.

Hana was washing dirty dishes in the sink while humming a jolly tune. She shook her head and backside back and forth. Water splashed up occasionally. The girl was smiling and every once in a while would splash the small fox who stood by her feet. Every time she did so the small fox would yip playfully and run around her legs as well as try to flick the water back off by shaking his body.

The young woman was about halfway done with her dishes. She always tried to see the glass as half full after all. But there came to be a knock on the door. She went to open it when she saw that nobody was there. She was about to shake her head and close the door when she saw a small white envelope taped to the door a bit above the door knob. She opened it to read that she had a mission.

This one was handwritten and signed by the Hokage. Apparently he would be making an appearance on this mission. Why would he need to do that though? Did he want to oversee how she did everything relating to being a ninja? Well she would only have to fight a bull. More than likely she could probably subdue him with a simple jutsu. If not she could always play the matadoor and stab him till he gave up. Either way she would surely win.

She got dressed in her ninja gear and headed off for where the note said for her to go.

He was there watching her every step, figuratively hiding the the bushes, wrapping his long, cold black body around the roots of weeds and slithering himself around the perimeter of her property. An unknown eye to her, an all seeing one that he was, always made sure that she was completely safe. Politically, it would not be safe for him to bring her into his shelter just yet, there were too many people and shinobi moving against his right to rein as Hokage. Yet, through it all he watched out for what was most important to him, Hana.

The question arose several times in his head, was he using her? Or was she using him? The relationship was uncanny, and he held so much, a strong resemblance to Orochimaru and Uchiha Madara that it seemed to be fate repeating itself over again. Maybe he would turn around and end up dying by her hand, or Ayame's hand. Maybe they would suck him away for all his talent and skill as a shinobi and cast him aside like a soiled kitchen rag. Yet, he continued to care after her and train her as if she was his own daughter.

He watched her walk out of the home she lived in, he sat calmly on top of the roof in normal Konoha attire, to blend in with the rest of the shinobi moving through out the village. He placed his feet on the wall of the house, tucking them close to his thighs and pushed off in a full front flip in front of her. He moved soundlessly through the air, as if serpentine essence were like scales which forced the wind around him. His shadow was opposite her face and towards her back. She might notice him if she tried. He'd land in front of her leaning forward a bit with his tall back exposed, poised as a rocket ready for take off.

She might be shocked bit it wouldn't matter. "Get on my back. We can get around the village much faster if we can fly. The bull is somewhere near north Konohagakure, so I have an idea where it could be. It'd also be good to spot it from an aerial position instead of a ground one. So come on, no need to say hey. We can exchange formalities after the mission is over with. Grab on tight and don't let go. Don't close your eyes the entire time, Konoha looks beautiful from the sky." He'd wait for her to clamber her way on his back before taking off, and make sure she was seated properly. This was a little too 'close' for shinobi, but it didn't matter. They needed to hurry up and train, and Shihouin still needed to catch up to Ayame. From here on out, they would go until the end.

Hana gasped as the man she had just been thinking about a moment before was suddenly in front of her. Literally! He had seemed to have just appeared like an appirition. Though Hana knew better. No matter how well the man moved he was still human. He had probably been headed over to get her. She was after all one of his little pets.

The young girl felt a bit nervous as to the idea of climbing on him and going piggy back. It would be quite a scandal. The Hokage carrying a young, fifteen year old girl on his back. Either they would be spoken about as a couple which would be really bad for Hana. Well him too, he'd be seen as a pedophile. Not a good thing for the Kage of a village.

She didn't really have a choice though. So she climbed aboard. He had broad shoulders and smelled pretty nice too. A bit spicy. She was pretty shocked to hear the word, "beautiful" come from his mouth. She just had him pegged as a sort of bad guy. Well in her mind he wasn't really bad. Dangerous and mysterious yes. But bad? No. She nodded and made sure to keep her eyes open the entire way. She began to think back to certain events over the past week.

They way Shihouin had taught her, praised her. He had never raised his voice, nor been cruel. Strict yes. But cruel no. He had never done anything to her. He had a certain foreboding aura about him. Though Hana didnt want to get close to people right now. She couldn't help think of him as the ideal type of father.

Her own father had never been there for her. In actuality the man raped her own mother. She had always wished for a father that was kind, caring, and strong. Someone she could look up to and could teach her how to be strong. A man that would be her mentor and guide her. At this moment in time? Shi was living up to that little fantasy.

As she secured herself safely on his back, Shihouin moved his hands together and performed a few hand signs with no consideration for speed. They would have plenty of time on their hands cutting through traffic by taking the sky. Kage's of the past didn't all share an extraordinary ability such as flight, but Shihouin was proud of the imperfect version of flight he could use. It made getting around much more flashy and savvy than normal. Plus it kept at least the kids excited about his presence as they looked up to see a rocket streaking across the sky.

With her latched on, the chakra from his feet began to build. Loose debris was pushed back with heavy force, and the thunderous feeling of his chakra leaked out from his hands and feet. A ball of dust from the old pavement they were all spanned out into a thin ring of colored dust. Shihouin bent down a little lower and sprung upward, taking his body and Hana at a velocity that most couldn't keep up with. They would be airborne easily in a second or two, and Shihouin headed west first so he could adjust his flight patterns to her added weight.

A long trail of smoke stacked lazily in a bad diagonal line to the sky as the two merged with the cloud. He pressed his hands to his side and his feet close together as they moved through the misty wet clouds lingering low and high in the sky. The fog made it hard to see from the ground, but up here in the sky they could easily spot everything.

Knowing that she was holding tight, Shihouin twisted his body into a tight corkscrew, barreling tight right until they were alined north towards the Hokage Mountains. It was always different up here. He descended from the clouds, just below them as they moved across the village at alarming speed. Even though he couldn't talk due to the intense wind pressure around them, he knew she had to be looking. They were closer to the village gates, so she could see all of Konoha as they traveled. From the stacks of smoke from morning restaurants opening up to the ant-sized wives which set out laundry to dry outside of their apartments it all could be seen. The tall, perfectly sized buildings and sky scrapers which reached high from the ground were nothing but toy models so high up.

The Hokage Mountain and it's new generation of faces was moving more closer now, and the thick evergreen plain which ran near the northern side was their target. Shihouin spotted a rooftop near them and moved down maintaining a high velocity. The wind picked up and a they'd both feel a tunnel of pressure squeeze them out faster and faster as he moved. Things began to get larger than before, like windows and people, not to mention the ground and crashing into the roof was a strong possibility. Before she could freak out, Shihouin swung his legs under him, reversing his speed drastically. They eventually came to a stop about ten feet above the rooftop, and Shihouin canceled his jutsu as they slowed down to a manageable speed. He tucked his legs properly and landed squarely on the rooftop, bending low so she could walk on her own. Luckily they'd taken a total of what? 5 minutes to cross the village? It beat walking by a long stretch.

Shihouin turned to her. "You're easily at the C rank level, now so this will be pretty good for you. Your abilities suit you perfectly, you can guard with your bloodline if the bull hits you and not suffer a scratch. I do expect you to get hit, and I don't expect this to be easy. I'll watch and keep support. I want you to formulate a plan of action with me in it as a support role and you as a main. Go from finding the bull to mission successful." Shihouin waited on her to start out. He would follow her orders for this mission, just because it would be more fun that way. She now, at least for this mission had the Hokage under her command, but he hoped her plan wouldn't be 90% dependent on his skill either.

As Hana was on the Hokage's back she looked down on the village. It was gorgeous. The green trees and all the people made it seem like it was something out of a movie. At this height she could see different sights and she thought a bit. She had immense pride for her village and loved it. Konoha was certainly the most beautiful village of them all. Not to mention it was quite strong and had very powerful ninja from the past originate there. Like Naruto Uzukami, other Hokage's, Orochimaru and Madara. Not all were good but still.

Hana had wrapped her arms around Shi's neck as they began their descent. That was the scary part. She held on tightly though not as tight as to choke hold him either. Though she hopped off his back as soon as she possibly could once they landed. She didn't like not having control. If she could do that jutsu she would have been just fine. But she would prefer not being on the Hokage's back again if he did it.

Hana nodded once he finished speaking. "My plan is to track the bull. Probably by feces. Cows and bulls have similar fecal matter as horses. Other than that their excrete doesn't look like many other animals. After that I'm thinking to use my water whip and possibly my sword and sheath to fight him off. Once he's completely worn out I was thinking of tying him up." She wondered how she would find the bull. Though she had read from a book about tracks. She wasn't sure if she could pull it off but it was worth a shot. She looked around for any tracks. Anything that she could use.

After about ten minutes. She thought she found some cow feces. It wasn't too old. It still had flies about it so it meant it was still fresh. Hana decided to try to follow the trail. Because cows and bulls walk while they excrete she was sure that the trail of feces led to the bull. He couldn't be too far away.

Shihouin was not necessarily surprised at her plan, but then he realized in his days he could solve everything with Sharingan and missions of these types were easy, if not a cake walk for him. With Sharingan, locating, tracking, hunting, and killing became easy. He put himself mentally in her place, and figured that she would have trouble with finding him being so low rank. Maybe he would teach her tracking skills, because she was already following the smelly path to find the bull. The only thing she had to watch out for now was the bull itself.

Deciding to go as support, he would keep the mission details she had given him to himself and would follow them completely. This meant that all the vague instructions and all the commands for him to do anything would be taken as a team would take them. He would not be 100% successful every time she required his assistance. She was the leader, and most importantly she would carry the weight of the mission on her shoulders.

He kept out of her way but more importantly out of the sensory line of the bull. He would stick to the high trees where he could see everything with a simple tomoe and watch as Hana moved towards the bull. With his ANBU training, Hana might forget he was even there and may assume that he left if her head wasn't 100% in the game. He kept his eyes on her ready, hoping that she would impress him.

Hana was getting closer. She knew that. The cow pies were getting stinkier and fresher. She turned behind her with a smile hoping to see a look of pride on Shi's face. But as she turned she realized he wasn't there. She blinked. Where did he go? Did he go to take a pee or something? Or did he leave her to deal with it herself?

A few other thoughts prayed on her mind. Though she pushed them away. She assumed he was just going to let her deal with it. He may or may not intervene if neccessary. Though Hana would make sure he didn't have to. She was still looking to where Shi had been earlier when she heard thuds getting louder. She began to feel the ground under her vibrate.

She gasped and faced the coal black bull in front of her. He was only about a second away from hitting her with his deadly horns. Hana only had a moment to dodge. She went right though the bulls sharp horn hit her left shoulder wracking it with pain and shredding the flesh like it was a knife cutting open a steak. Hana screamed and held her shoulder.

The wound was shallow but it was big. She'd need to clean it and put something on it to stop the bleeding. But for now she needed to deal with the bull in front of her. She hadn't been on full alert, which left her to have this new wound. The bull took a while to stop and turn around. Giving Hana the time she needed to quickly pull her sword out. She still had her right hand. Though she didn't want to do too much damage to the bull. They needed to bring him back to Konoha fresh.

She kept the sword in it's sheath. She the prepared her attack. She quickly untied it from her waist and hit the oncoming bull right in the chest as she dodged to the right once again. She really did feel like a matadoor right now. She'd hoped that with the speed and her strength that she could deal the bull some damage. But it didn't even stop him. He was now more in rage. She didn't call out for help just yet though. She hoped that she wouldn't need it.

He winced a bit, his eyebrow and cheek tightened up as the bull hit her. That's what she got. She needed to be on her guard at all times. Now, that shallow scar on her arm should remind her that she would forever stay guarded them moment the mission began and even after it. She could only afford to drop her guard in her own house, a-

Shihouin's eyes popped wide open, and he went full Sharingan for a second, breaking his thoughts. 'A cut!!!' The cut on her shoulder was shallow but large, but that didn't mean it was impossible to heal. By all means, she should heal, but with the serum she should heal that cut in at least the next few minutes. Maybe if she kept her mind off of it and focused on her abilities it would heal faster... or maybe it wouldn't. This child had been bringing him the valuable test results he so badly wanted.

For a second he wondered if he could get an angle on the bull and control it for a second, to see if he could get it to hit her so another mark would appear. Maybe that wasn't the best possible method, but it would bring about more results. Shihouin thought about the decision and rejected it. He would let nature take its course and the soup work its way into her. With that bull running all over her she would not realize that her body would be activated in a number of ways.

Shihouin thought about what Medusa had said. 'It takes an extreme level of physical will or natural talent. Orochimaru's curse seal pulled out the chakra of the person with it. More importantly, it pulled out the persons true potential. In a way, the soup is similar, but it does so much more, and isn't a seal. It works with the persons potential.' Shihouin thought to himself. 'Now's the time to show me what I so desperately want to see... Do it Hana!'

Hana was unable to move so fast the next time. The bull came at her again as she was trying to think of what jutsu to use next. This time though instead of dodging left or right she controlled her body so that when the bull rammed into her she would tumble over his head and down his back and be straight behind him since she couldn't dodge.

The bull was still enraged and was still faster than ever. Hana felt a rib break. Though her natural kaguya abilities automatically began to heal it. Though little did Hana know that her shoulder was healing itself as well. She came up with a plan.

She grew huge spiked on both arms out of her arm bones. She gritted her teeth with the pain in her rib cage and the pain in her shoulder. Though both were growing slightly less painful. She waited for the bull to charge her again. This time when he hit her his horn tore the flesh between her breasts. She screamed once again but continued with her plan. She was on his back now and shoved two bones into his stomach.

She formed her bones and regrew them as fast as she could as she pushed five into him and impaled him to the ground. The bloody bones went deep into the ground holding the bull in place. Once he was totally immobile Hana hopped off his back and sat in the grass breathing and bleeding. Her bones were regrowing rapidly. She gasped for breath though her shoulder was already healed. To her amazement the torn flesh on her chest was repairing itself. For now the bull was subdued.

He may or may not get out though if he stayed like that longer he would grow tired from blood loss which would make it easier for them to take the bull back.

Shihouin looked down at the marks all over her body, the broken ribs he knew she would have, the scares that he knew on anyone else would be permanent. They were all healing fine and everything was moving according to his interests. Shihouin moved from a perch down below as she finished wrestling with the bull, who was in too much pain to die. This was perfect though, they had just enough time to drag it back to the butcher stop in top notch shape because it wouldn't be dead for too long.

He cleared his throat loudly, letting her know his position. "You did well. You didn't even need my help. And look at you." He pointed all over her body. "It works. It seems to be enhancing the passive abilities of your bloodline. Your healing is quicker than normal, you are completely fine." The bloodstained clothes looked like fake clothing because of the clean skin underneath them. Shihouin would leave her with the rest of the mission now.

"You can handle the rest of the mission from here. If you pass there is a promotion waiting for you soon, hurry up and meet the requirements for Chuunin and then the real training can begin. Remember, I expect a lot from you Hana." Shihouin jumped from his branch and down back to the ground. The moment before he could fall, he locked his legs together and blast of fire and debris pushed out from his feet creating a huge cloud of dust and a enormous pressure in the area. Rockets blazed and crackled under his feet and his hand as he shot through the canopy of the trees above and back to his office.

Hana was amazed at her healing abilities. Was this because of the serum he gave her? This was amazing! She could heal so fast. Sure they weren't huge wounds but she could heal faster than ever. This was an amazing power he had given her. She smirked.

Hana waved goodbye as he left. She only needed a few more missions and she would be ready to take the exams. She then turned back to the bull. He wasn't moving anymore. Just grunting from the pain. She almost felt bad for him but decided it was for the best.

She began to make a litter from the branches that fell from trees. She tied them together with ropes and wire she had from her pouches. Once the litter was made she used her water whip to bind the animal. After that she then began to take her bone spikes out of the bull and reabsorb them.

The bull was too tired and slowly dying now. She then pulled the litter back to the village. It took about half an hour but she made it and gave the bull to the butcher. After wards she headed back home to the administration building to get paid for her work. She hadn't finished her secondary objective but who cared? She would still get paid and that was fine. Besides she thought the family had enough to eat for a while.

She decided to head home first to change clothes. If she didn't people would wonder why she was so bloody without any wounds.
