General Appearance:
Retsu for the most part, like to hid what he really looks like. He wears a mask over his face, that looks cold to the touch. The mask covers his entire face, besides a small area around his eyes. The top of the mask is a simple black leather. On the forehead are three spikes that shoot up passed the head. The front of the mask has several holes in front so the user can breath. The whole also have filters in them, that act against poison. While Retsu wears this mask, poison in the air, do not harm him.

Underneath Retsu mask, Retsu looks like a older man. His hair is turning from Black to gray, slowly. His face is looking a little duller, than it was before. However, he still has younger features to his face, because he is not quite old enough to be middle aged. He has a red tattoo around his left eye. His eyes are either all white, or a light blue, that looks like ice. His skin tone has two tones, depending on his mood and what he is doing. His skin tone is either a pale white when he is having a day that nothing happens, or a ice blue when he is fighting, on a mission, or training.

Retsu wears mostly blue clothing. You cannot look at one part of him, and not see some type of blue covering his skin. Most of the time he will wear his battle outfit, which will cover all of his skin. The battle outfit has shoulder pads with a dragon on them, as well as a belt with a dragon on the front of it. While Restu is not in his battle armor, he still wears a outfit that still looks ninja like. It is all the same shade of blue. He wears long baggy bants, with a blue belt holding them up. He has a jacket that covers part of his torso. He also wears wrist guards.

Overall Personality:
Like Retsu's clan, he is a very cold, cold person. He only really cares for two things, and that is his clan and himself. He however, does care a little bit for his village and the people in it. He, however, does not care for anyone outside of the village, and most of them could die for all he cared. Even though he does not seem to care about other people outside his village, he stays true to the Kiri name. If Kiri is allied with another village, he will do nothing to harm them, less they break their promise.

Restu's main goal is redemption. He wants to rid the nickname of his clan, the 'cursed' clan. Restu feels the need to kill all those who have killed his family for the simple reason of having the bloodline. And he will kill anyone who has used his clan for their own gain. He also wishes to help the clan grow, so they can once again, be a real clan, instead of scattered across the world.

Retsu's trust is something that he holds high. It is very hard to gain his trust, and if someone dies, he would gladly die for that person. The easiest way to gain his trust, is to be born in his clan. He almost completely trusts everyone in his clan. If someone has his trust and does something to lose it, its likely he will never trust that person again. He is very quick to turn his back on these people.

Even though Restu can be very cold most of the time, he has a somewhat lighter side to him. He can be a little bit cheerful towards a few people. Many of which include his clan members. Another group of people might be younger children. He feels that all children should be given a chance, and being cold to them, isn't helpful. He wants to see them grow. This is the only reason he is really still in his village. He also holds his kage in high respect, because of the duty they uphold.

While Retsu has already put his mind on killing other clans in the Land of Water civil war, he has his mind set out on helping his village. If his village is in need, and they have a job for him to do, he will drop everything and help his village. He seeks out the civil war ninja, on his own time, so that he is always free to help his village. He would rather not see it fall. It has been many years since that war, and most people are dead and gone. Therefore, he has little avenging to do.

Retsu enjoys fighting and training. He feels these ways are the best way to make people stronger. At least once a day, he is found doing at least one of these. He does not mind going out and fighting people, even if it will start a war. Even though a lot of death is caused by war, he doesn't care, he just wants the best for himself, his village, and most importantly his clan.

Retsu enjoys the cold, and will keep it as cold as he can. His body has gotten use to the cold of ice, and he can handle the ice like no other ninja before him. While heat does not seem to do that much to him, because he can keep the cold inside him. The inside of his house, is covered with a think layer of ice.
