Hana heard a voice. Her mother? She was calling her name and telling her she loved her. She was a child again. Her sister and step father were sitting on the porch waiting for her. Her father's face was different... or was it the same? Her mother's face was different too. What was it? Kimi was the same. The old house was the same too... Did they always look like this?

Hana's eyes fluttered open to reveal light coming in from the window to her right. She blinked a few times until her pupils adjusted to the light. She turned her head to look to the slightly rustling noise of cloth next to her. Hana turned to face a beautiful woman. Was that her? Yes, she was the woman in her dream.

"M-mom? Where am I?" She looked around. She couldn't remember much of anything. Was she sick? She vaguely remembered her mother's name was Izumi. That and her father's name was Shihouin. Everything in her head was muddled. "Mom... why am I in the hospital? Where's dad?"

She felt good to have her mother next to her. But where was her father? Yes he was hokage but why wasn't he here too? He should be here with her. She was after all his daughter. A small thought occurred to her as her blonde hair dangled in front of her eyes. Why had she dyed her hair? Obviously she'd dyed it from black to blonde. Both of her parents had black hair. Things were waaay too muddled right now to think of stupid things. She'd have to remember to dye it back.

She sat up in bed and held her head for a moment. It sort of hurt but otherwise she was pretty much fine. Why was she here? Had she hit her head? Perhaps Izumi had overreacted or something. She felt fine. She looked around and smiled. She'd gotten a nice room. It was plain but was very comfortable.

Izumi sat patiently as she waited for Hana to awaken. Aside from wishing to ask her about how she healed so fast, thinking maybe it was a jutsu she could learn or blood related, Izumi wanted to check up on Hana in general. She wished to get to know Shi's student and see what all she had learned. She hasn't heard much from Shi but enough to know that Hana was said to be good.

When Hana finally stirred awake, sunlight stretched from the window pane to her bed. It covered her as the light breeze outside shook the white cloth. For the first time in a while the rain did not come. Today was a sunny day and it luckily wasn't humid. Reports say the rain will return tomorrow but in the meantime all was well. With a sense of peace surrounding her, Izumi opened her eyes and peered at Hana. The blonde was staring back with a half confused look on her face. What happened to the confidence she shown earlier and why was she staring at Izumi like that now? It were as though she didn't even recognize her.

"M-mom? Where am I?"

Izumi perked an eyebrow before she looked over at the door. She didn't hear anyone come in. When she looked and saw no on she then looked around the room and back at Hana. She still had those confused and innocent eyes as she gazed around. It was now like she had never seen a room before. 'Oh no... she thought, a grim look crossing her face.

"Mom... why am I in the hospital? Where's dad?"

How was she supposed to respond? She knew who she thought "dad" was. It was obvious. Or maybe it wasn't. Maybe she looked like her mom and her dad was some blonde guy. This was confusing but one thing was obvious, Hana had amnesia and it was Izumi's fault. If Shihouin was "dad" this daddy was about to be pissed about what happened to his daughter.

"Um...Hana" she began, watching Hana look around with the same innocent looking eyes, "I'm not...uhh."

She wanted to just tell her but was unsure if she even should. What would happen if she did? Nothing drastic as far as Izumi was concerned. She would by lying to Hana otherwise, not that she truly would ever call her daughter. At least not now. She would have to get to know her or something. Izumi was close to her father and Shi, that's it. This would be too awkward for her. But back to subject. She had to tell her...

"Hana, i'm not your mother. Nor is Shi your father, if that's who you're thinking of. If your head hurts its because we just sparred. You were hit by a tag and knocked unconscious."

Izumi had a worried face as she continued to sit in the chair and watch Hana. Izumi had called Shi to come see Hana but if he showed up now things would really look ugly. Especially if Hana could not remember anything. Hopefully she just didn't remember the fight but seeing as how she though that Izumi was her mother and Shi was her father. This could only mean that she couldn't remember way back when her actual parents were around. Are they even around anymore? Izumi wasn't sure what to do at all....she just hoped Hana would remember after what Izumi told her.

Sometimes Shihouin had problems with emotional attachment. His primary issue with emotional attachment was growing too close to his fake-family in his opinion, which had made life harder for him down the road. As a young child he was a power hungry, obsessive and over ambitious genin who had no restraints on himself. No control, no bounds, no limits to stop him. There was only strength and power in his world and even for the short loves and romances he had with Nasa, it all meant nothing if it couldn't' bring him power. Even his most loved Izumi was nothing but a hindrance if she came into his need for power. A chess piece among all the countless numbers of pawns he considered other people. It of course would hurt him in subconscious ways to get rid of Izumi or Nasa by his hand, but he could deal with it.

There was only one person in the village that had any sway over him emotionally, only one person that could really influence his actions, stop his rage and if need be control him in certain aspects. He had once been succumbed to fear by the Second Hokage and held that fear for him quite some time. It was the logical choice yes, that the Second Hokage after punishing Shihouin would be the one that could control him in certain ways but it wasn't him. No matter how scary his abilities were and no matter how tough the Second Hokage was, Shihouin was far from being controlled by him.

It was Hana. Yes, that small little cute girl whom he had intended to use and abuse. His first thoughts of her was simple. He could take that cute little smile on her face and make it grin until she grew permanent dimples, he could hold her small little heart in his hand and crush it or caress it and use her how she wanted. She was only a child and she was not aware of the things he was going to do to her. He was going to force her body to become stronger unnaturally, only to see if it would work on himself so he could rise to power.

But he hadn't. He had stopped testing almost the moment he started with her and didn't inject the serum into anyone else besides Mitsu. He forgot about testing her abilities or even running a regular scan on her vitals, simple things like that. She had swayed him too much with her innocence. After the time of his speech to the village, he never even returned back to bother Nasamea again. He planned on owning up to Yamazu and Ayame sometime soon and even though he would probably loose Hokage and or be punished, Hana was acting on him towards the better. Katsumi had attacked the village and killed innocent people, but instead of killing him and continuing the cycle of hatred over again he thought about Hana's cute smile and positive attitude. He pardoned Katsumi on his actions as the late Uzumaki Naruto had one to an attacker from the group 'Akatsuki'. He was beginning to realize that it was not too late for anyone to change.

Eventually he planned on even giving up Hokage if he had to and coming clean with the village once he made sure everything was settled and the country was in the right process fiscally and militaristically as well. To Ayame if she was here, it would be impossible to determine the true nature of his changes. He had been keeping them silent and to himself, but for anyone who had grown up with him they wouldn't realize his changes until he did something that showed them And someone like Ayame would know that Shihouin had a short fuse. He was still a fire-breathing Uchiha at the end of the day and Ayame, Hana and a few others could emotionally sway him enough to calm down were not always going to be there. There were only a few good enough to keep him in check

The rest of these other ANBU and hospital nurses weren't the right people

Shihouin's long fingers wrapped around a black pencil as he clicked it, slowly. Click-clack. He towered over the male nurse that was at the desk in front of him, looking up information on the computer. Wearing his traditional attire, the tall 6' 5" Uchiha with Sandaime Hokage written down the back of his white cape didn't seem to pleased. The two ANBU beside of them were on edge and ready to defend, they knew Shihouin was mad.

The male nurse was short haired, short and skinny. His tight spiky hair jutted out in every direction on his head and his skin was too pale and sugary looking to be passed off as manly. This guy was obviously homosexual. "Well sir, I'm sorry but I cannot let you back in. Izumi is already in there and my boss lady said no one is allowed back." He rolled his eyes and turned in his chair, facing towards some other work. Shihouin's face stretched in unnatural ways. He looked like he was about to cry in some aspects that he had been waiting for about two minutes which seemed to be two hours. On the other hand, burning golden eyes and melting pen were not helping. Click-clack. "What. Room. Is. Hana. In." The sugar-for-blood nurse didn't even respond and to spite him, he pulled out a nail filer and looked him directly in the eyes. "I'm break, so I ain't gotta do shit." Shihouin's hand burned, and the pen suffered. Click-splat. The ANBU members saw the opening and jumped in. "The Hokage is asking you because he wants to make it easy on you. I could have searched the entire hospital several times over and found the room and set him there, but you would be in a lot of trouble now wouldn't you?" He said, nothing just kept filing 'them nails.

Shihouin was tired of it, instead of waiting he just would search the entire building even if it took him an hour or so. Each room, all the way up and down the six levels of floors and even the basement. He walked slowly around the desk and pushed his way towards the door leading to the rooms. He couldn't have been any more than 5' 3". He decided that it was smart to jump his way into his path and guard with his arms and manicured hands outstretched to stop him. "Don't take another step!" Shihouin's arm moved beyond the sight level of the nurse. He didn't see anything. One moment he was fine, and the next he was behind held up in the air above Shihouin's head with a tight arm around his neck.

The ANBU member, the newbie freaked out, but the veteran stopped him. "Don't... He's gone. Just go get the room number from the computer." It was funny in that the veteran ANBU with the fox mask put his palm to his forehead and gripped it tight, shaking it. Not at Shihouin, but for the nurse. The other ANBU took a minute but found the information needed with some well trained strokes of the keyboard. As for the guy he screamed and choked. "Put.. me.. down!" He coughed up what he could and spit directly into Shihouin's face.

Wrong move. [Music]

Shihouin's body began to channel and unruly amount of chakra and the heat waves from the compressed energy began to look like invisible waves arching all over his body. The heat pressure around him rose and pushed out sharply, sending office materials everywhere. The door in front of him blasted open, back and forth until the metal frame began to heat up and slump under the pressure of the heat. The drywall dented, fracturing the frame of the wall and all of the pictures split ferociously and were flung down and away from the wall as if it was telepathic. The ANBU members bailed and prepared their high level Suiton jutsu.

As for the faggot in the palm of his hands, the bubbling and popping skin from his neck created an unsightly smell that reeked of decaying flesh. His legs stopped trembling and relaxed along with this eyes which bulged out of his head from the heat pressure. His legs slumped and moved in the pressure like dangling branches in a stormy wind. As the chakra pressure continue to rise, a high pitched whistle streaked out over the entire building. The veteran ANBU jumped back with his parter and they braced their selves in a high level suiton.

Shihouin released the sticky burnt flesh and let the body fall back to the ground. Before the dead body could even move in free fall, the technique condensed around Shihouin expanded into a ball of fire and a shock wave, pushing everything out from his center. Due to the intense heat pressure which magnified exponentially, the burning body boiled over into a black charcoaled set of human pieces, which was burned off or completely in ashes and were thrown around the hospital room. The walls, doors, desk, nor anything could stand up to the pressure and even the hospital ached from the heat itself. The fire pushed through everything, destroying and knocking aside everything in its path for a good ten meters before settling down. The hospital itself would feel the rumble and shake as a piece of its gut was burned off in a fit of anger. As the technique faded, a lake of burning computer pieces and other sturdy metals that were now exposed under the tile bubbled under the heat pressure or reformed into some pile of molten metal. Shihouin took a step forward.

"What room is it."

The ANBU behind him dispersed their own techniques and the younger one could barely speak. "Fo---twen- The room---"

"Say it!!!"

He spoke quickly as the veteran put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It's, it's 421!" Shihouin silently walked into the damaged hallway and up the steps. They had to follow him and did so. Izumi was probably next.

The fire alarms had all went off in the entire building and the sprinklers on the first floor only. Some of the nurses had walked out from their own hospital rooms, scrambling around to see what happened. Despite the yelling and red lights flashing along the hallways, Shihouin walked over and on anyone in his way, without a regard for broken bones. Once they reached the fourth floor and the appropriate room, Shihouin twisted the handle slowly, giving time. If Izumi wanted time to bail, she would need it now to escape.

The locked door was no problem. Shihouin reached into his pocket and grabbed a senbon, sticking it directly into the key slot. The metal from the senbon heated up, flowing out of the tool and into the locks, dismantling them enough for the door to open. He pushed it with a single finger and walked inside seeing Izumi and more importantly Hana. He completely ignored Izumi as if she didn't exist and went right over to Hana. The ANBU members scrambled and the young one slipped of the floor trying to get near Izumi to protect her. Shihouin looked on Hana as if the fire alarms weren't going off. "Are you all right, Hana?" He was sincere in his question. "I heard Izumi hurt you, is that true?"

For Izumi's sake, she better had hoped Hana said the right words.

Hana blinked at Izumi in confusion. What did she mean? She was most definitely her mother. She had all the memories of her mother and Izumi definitely looked like her mother. She was definitely her father. Why was her mother acting like this? Was it a joke? Her mother did like to play pranks occasionally. But wouldn't this be a bit serious?

Hana blinked at the woman a few times. Well at least the hospital part made sense. She was training with Izumi. No doubt her mother wanted her to be stronger. "Come on mom... don't mess around like that."

Neither female got a chance to speak when Hana suddenly felt as if she were in an oven. She began to sweat and wondered why. She wiped her head and looked at Izumi. Obviously she could feel the affects too. A small bead of sweat was above her lip.

The fire alarm went off but a young nurse rushed into the room. "Sorry our, heater is broken. I'm terribly sorry about this. Please ignore the alarms," she told both women. Then she rushed back out of the room.

Her father entered the room soon after. The ANBU that normally followed him were scrambling around Izumi for some reason. Hana blinked up at the older man. A confused yet, genuinely happy smile played upon her lips. The smile could have been compared to cold for it was bright and cheery. "I was wondering where you were. I'm fine dad. I just need to take a pain killer. Mom was just helping me train. I made a stupid mistake. She wouldn't try to hurt me dad."

Hana smiled at him, forgetting totally about what Izumi had said earlier. "Please don't be mad at mom. It wasn't her fault. She was going all out like I wanted her to."

Izumi stood when she was given a confused look. Hearing "come on mom, don't mess around like that" was not something she wanted to hear at all. Pain crossed her face as she realized what this meant.

It was then she heard the sound an explosion; she tensed up. Her eyes seemed frantic as she peered around. Gazing over to the window near Hana's bed, she made a swift move to stand between the window and Hana. It wasn't an act of escaping but an act of protection. Had the missing nin come back? Was it another? What was going on? In her mind was 'protect Hana, protect Hana' for she knew how protective Shi was in general. When it came to his student she had no clue just how much she truly was. But little did Izumi she was about to find out.

A nurse entered first and spoke of the heater.

"Get her a glass of water!" Izumi snapped, shocking the nurse. She backed out slowly before turning down the hall to run. If someone may have been after her or Hana then no one should be in the way. Izumi crept to the foot of the bed on the right side, away from the window. The door began to open, Izumi tensed and her face made a snarling face. Shi stepped in.

With shock Izumi's snarl faded as she watched him enter. His attention turned directly to Hana as ran over to her in an instant. He passed right by Izumi as though she weren't there and two ANBU suddenly leaped to Izumi's side. She looked back and forth at the two with confusion before peering back at Shi. The fire alarms continued to go off and it registered what happened. Shi did this. All for his student. An utterly cold feeling grew within Izumi as she stared at the two. Hana's reply was the same, Shi was dad and Izumi was mom. But Hana showed signs of remembering the fight. She remembered Shi and Izumi - she just though differently of them. So she must have remembered everything else.

This wasn't the issue now though. The problem was, what if she didn't remember? The cold feeling grew within Izumi as she gave Shi a look of utter pain after Hana spoke. What had she done? If Shi destroyed the hospital and the ANBU were frantic to protect Izumi, what did this mean for her?

"I only wanted to help" Izumi muttered, her eyes deeply caring as she gazed at the two. There was pure sincerity in her voice. "You know I would never hurt her beyond the normal marks she could acquire while training. We were sparring and she asked I go full out. I wasn't 100%... but still. She seems to recall everything else but I never wished for something like this.... I thought she would walk if off .... or substitute.... she didn't...."

Izumi had underestimated Hana but at the same time overestimated her. It was odd to explain. Izumi messed up once before Shi and in a way she messed up again. Holding her composure though, she tried to stand her ground as she gazed at Shi. Waiting for whatever may come....

He didn't know who in the world gave her clearance to do such a thing. He understood that Hana wanted to train and become stronger but there were certain people that obviously knew not to cross those boundaries. Apparently Izumi was not one of those people. Even though they were 'together' Shihouin cared for her sake in that she should appreciate the level of mercy he was about to show. He didn't want Hana to suffer and then see him bash her face in. Luckily he could make things easy with Sharingan...

Shihouin knew that she had good intentions, but Hana was everything to him. Even though she had been strangely calling him 'Dad' for some unknown reason, he thought of her like a daughter in some senses. If Izumi was going to be anything like a other, she had better heed to his words. "You know I would never hurt her beyond the normal marks she could acquire while training. We were sparring and she asked I go full out. I wasn't 100%... but still. She seems to recall everything else but I never wished for something like this.... I thought she would walk if off .... or substitute.... she didn't...." Shihouin closed his eyes and turned his head towards Izumi, activating a single Sharingan in one eye so that Hana wouldn't see.

Catching gazes with her was easy since she had already been looking at him. The genjutsu would activate instantly and wouldn't last more than a glance for Hana. Shihouin's body moved all too quickly within the illusion and the fear that would grip Izumi would feel like claws arching behind her back. Her position seemed to be comprised, the ground under her feet was melting in a pool molten hot lava. As he traversed the short distance with unnatural speed, he tucked his hand into a tight fist and struck her chin with it, curling it unto an uppercut.

Her body took the blow in its entirely, crushing her lower jaw into small fragments and sending her vertically upwards in the air. As she came down in the same fashion, Shihouin's left leg had been vertically extended and was coming up for a heel kick. His heel would meet her falling chin at the right point, throwing the clashing momentum into the rest of the bones in her face. Even then, she would still be lingering in the air for a second, coming down in time that seemed to take an infinity.

She only had a couple of feet before she reached the ground and if you were in the illusion you could see Shihouin watch her fall down, his eyes and head slowly following her body. Chakra would cover his hand before she reached eye level with him and he would plunge the blue fire into her stomach, burning her intestines, bones and roans all to ash. And as long as it took for the illusion to take place, it would be over in what seemed like a blink for everyone else.

Shihouin deactivated his Sharingan and looked back down to Hana. He had never been in a situation like this, one where he had to care for the individual. He remembered receiving second degree burns by his teacher but the roles were reversed. He wanted every doctor, medic and nurse attending to Hana right now, no matter who else was in the hospital. "Next time, tell me... I was worried to death. And what do you remember happening?" Shihouin didn't know where to go with this whole parental thing, but obviously something was wrong with her memory.

Hana blinked as she watched Shihouin's look of worry change to a blank and slightly scary expression. Izumi's face seemed different after a moment. Was it paler? Before Hana could study her any further Shihouin turned back to her giving her his full attention.

She smiled at the sound of worry in his voice. "It's okay. I will next time." She then sat in thought for a moment. "Well I was having a dream about you and mom, and Kimi... but, it was kind of weird your faces were strange for a minute but they went back to normal... Then I woke up and my mind felt foggy" She sat in a moment of thought.

"I saw mom though. It was nice waking up to her next to me and then I wondered where you were. When you came I sorta remembered everything that happened automatically. I guess I hit my head pretty hard." She paused to rub the sore spot on the back of her skull. She couldn't quite place it but something was odd. She went on to explain their battle in detail. Leaving nothing out. The only difference was that Izumi just wasn't Izumi. She was mom.

After explaining Hana got out of bed with a slight burst of energy. She then hugged Shihouin around the middle. He was obviously much taller than herself but she was able to move her arms all the way around his middle. Her head rested on his chest. "I'm fine see? I can hug you like before and walk around. No worries," she told him with glee.

The old Hana would have still had some of those barriers. The ones that wouldn't allow her to touch him for more than a second because she didn't know him as well. He was still the hokage even though he was a father figure. It was a sign of respect on her part. This new Hana however, didn't care about that. She honestly believed that Shihouin and Izumi were her parents. Obviously... something was off in her head.

A look of worry and utter pain rested in her eyes when Shi turned to look at her. She looked him dead in the eyes which proved to be her worst mistake. As she sighted the red sharingan her face took on a look of near utter shock. She saw the hatred behind them and the veil of protection which lied around Hana. She was speechless when suddenly Shi seemed to practically spring at her. Her attention fell from Hana as she placed it all on Shi, her body frozen beyond her control. Despite her fake strong appearance her eyes would tell a tale of confusion, worry, and somewhat fear. She was, but at the same time wasn't, ready to face him. The ground below her feet seemed to be melting as Shi came.

Before she knew it he was right there. Taken aback from shock she watched his fist, which was drawn back, fly forward. Her instincts flared up telling her to dodge but it was like she was melted to the ground and frozen with ice. His fist, powered by protection and agitation, then met her face and punched her. She felt as though her whole bottom jaw shattered, the tears rising. She tried to, or more so wanted to since she wasn't going anywhere, somehow fight him off but had been punched into the air. As she came back down she wanted to block off her head but this time Shi had other ideas on hitting her anyway. With a chakra influenced fist, he suddenly punched her into the stomach. It created a shock wave of pain through her intestines. No, through everything around that area. She couldn't support herself and she felt her eyes grow hazy as she fell.

It was then the illusion faded. Izumi eyes seemed to flash as everything came into view. She was still standing, Shi was tending to Hana, and the ground wasn't burning. Everything was fine, or at least back to normal. Izumi immediately recognized what happened. With a pale face she stared at the two in silence. She seemed very distant as she looked with utter shock. She was speechless still and very unmoving. It was as though if she did move she would be placed in the genjutsu once more. Or that Shi was cast another.

When her brain finally registered what had happened though, maybe a few seconds after she snapped back. All the pain she felt came rushing back to her. Her insides burned with a force surrounding her entire mid section and of course her jaw. She began to breath faster. Almost to the point she seemed to be hyperventilating when she touched her jaw before she tightly wrapped her arms around her mid section. This was the area Shihouin had punched her in that dream that almost seemed real; it had to have been an illusion. Wouldn't she be dead otherwise? She teeter tottered a bit before she hit the side of the wall and sank down to the floor, letting out whimpers as she tried her best to just suck it up. When she came to the floor itself she fell over on her side and curled into a ball as she whined more. The less the noise she made the less she would worry Hana; or so she hoped. Had she been in the fetal position she would look like a mental patient.

An inner rage then began to build up inside as she winced in agony. The ANBU were already gazing down on her as they leaned nearby. They were about to try to pick her up and carry her off or at least see how she was but when they made a move, Iuzmi snapped.

"Get away! I'm fine!"

The sound of her anger was strong in her tone. She bit her tongue otherwise and held back any desire to protest against Shi, seeing it best to just take it and lay there. With narrowed eyes though she raised her head up towards Shi and glared at him for a split few seconds before going back into the cradle position; lowering her head back.

Hana's a kunoichi for crying out loud. Shi won't be around forever to baby her, she though to herself out of anger. She's fine aside from a few messed up things here and there; like mom and dad. Where the hell was the woman's pride? I wouldn't hurt her beyond the normal things she may face in an everyday fight. She coughed up spit on the floor from the pain in her jaw, growing even more enraged. She then closed her eyes and tried to relax herself so the pain would stop. Of course it wouldn't end quickly. 'What about when she gets into a real fight with a real enemy and loses a limb or something? Kill them? That won't settle much aside from her still having a missing limb. RIDICULOUS!'

She continued to lay there as she waited for the moment she could stand an be okay. What she would do once she was able she was unsure. But right now she just knew that it was best to keep her mouth shut until the time came she could talk to Shi one on one. Of course this may very well be her famous last words as well. If she even tried to speak to him about this anymore...

Was there any use in trying to correct this? Shihouin wasn't that obsessive in her in that she would accept her as a daughter because he saw her as such, but he didn't think that there would be any gain in trying to go through extensive surgeries and chance all this on her memory. Would it be acting against the 'old Hana' to try and changes things, or would it be acting against the 'new Hana'? Either way, Shihouin knew there was something wrong not because it was obvious but because he didn't know what to do from here on out.

He remained silent and didn't contest it too much. If she seriously thought he was her father then it was good enough for now. They would have to one day, sit her down and explain things to her because genetically she was as far from them as night is day. She didn't have the bloodline nor any solid feature that Izumi or Shihouin had. He didn't know what to think or do, but for now he would have to let it slide.

He patted the top of her head and looked around, still kind of fed up with Izumi. The ANBU that attended to her backed off and the veteran mask looked at him. He could tell they were both looking at him with confusion. There was nothing to do about it for now. He could try using a powerful Sharingan illusion and showing her his memories of her to try and "give her back" her self but, that might cause some unwanted variables.

Shihouin took a knee in front of Hana and looked her in the eye. His golden eyes showed no harm as they did a second ago and he was completely calm. "I want you to take care of yourself from now on. No ninjutsu, no anything. Rest and go relax with your friends or something. The doctors think you hit your head, but you're fine physically. They want you out of the training field just in case something happens so you don't end up in here again." He was definitely avoiding using the word "dad" or "father" around her. He picked his words properly though, so that his skimping around with dad was hard to notice. "Can you promise me that?" He hoped she would, at least for a few days.

Izumi continued to huff and puff on the floor as she tried to make the pain stop. She seemed to be sweating a bit, the reaction to her body thinking she was on fire. She had moved her arms from around her stomach to her head where her jaw ached. She could still imagine her entire jaw shattering into bits. The drool on the floor increasing a bit but she did her best to keep her jaw tight. It hurt too bad to clench it though. She looked like a mess and didn't want to truly be touched, looked at, nothing. For the most part she felt very deceived. Keeping her body in the tight cradle position she continued to try and pace her breaths but the pain wouldn't end just yet.

Out of the blue and shocking her mind from her thoughts, a pair of hands soon crept their way around her mid section. She flinched a bit and opened her eyes, peering down past her hands with a look of a crazed person. She was still breathing heavy and was ready to tear the head off who touched her till she saw just who it was; Hana. The girl had apparently been able to get out of bed and make her way from Shi over to Izumi. Shi might have left already too, she didn't know. But now here she was trying to make Izumi feel better with her hug. What was the woman thinking? Didn't she hear the previous rage in her voice? She wasn't mad at Hana. Mostly she was enraged at Shi. But she still felt a bit irritated in general from her dignity being slightly crushed.

"What could you do" she said, holding back any sharp and angry filled words. There was slight agitation in her tone but she was keeping her voice rather low. The next time she spoke, she would sound more relaxed and easy going despite the pain she still felt...

"My mid section and jaw..." she said before letting out another heavy breath, her stomach heaving in and out sharply."But don't worry about it. You have your head to take care of..."

Being one to tell it how it is, it was hard to hold back her words. In fact it was making her throat her and creating stress in her mouth. She knew the trouble that would proceed had she said anything to Shi about how she felt when it came to Hana. Given the impression that whatever Shi wanted was right and if anyone had anything to say about it they would get their face punched in. But for Hana's sake, she needed to say at least something small.

Izumi moved a little. She fought through the pain and twisted her body to where she could sit up on her hands and side. "Let her..." she began, waiting till she was finished moving before going further. She shook a little and clenched her painful jaw. With one hand she wiped the spit and quickly returned her hands to the cold bleach smelled floor for support.

"Let her train" she said, her eyes soon meeting Shi as she stared dead into his eyes with a look of protection. Even she was looking out for Hana even when she didn't know the girl. If she was that important to Shi then she could be to Izumi too. No one showed Izumi what Hana had just did, maybe Shi but never anyone else. She felt the need to protect her. Almost as though she were a glass rose. If held too tightly she could crack and if too loosely she could fall and break. Izumi remembered feeling like this once.

"She is still a ninja... no matter how much you care, or I care for that matter, she needs to keep going. Not letting her train will set her back. She obviously doesn't want that. I felt it when she came at me time and time again. She's strong.. don't deny her of that strength... and I don't mean just physically...."

Izumi huffed as she looked to the ground for a sec. All this may be the last she would be able to talk for a long time, but she was doing it for Hana's sake. She returned her attention to Shi.

"A will of fire cannot be snuffed that easily..."

Moving to sit up against the wall, she looked at Hana then closed her eyes. Her breaths were starting to become a little bit easier as she worked through this.

"I will personally watch her if I must... even if I have lost here and there... I can easily provide a distraction for her...she can even stay with us..." she opened her eyes then and looked over at him. "Seeing as how the hospital is somewhat destroyed" oh yeah, she heard the explosion and knew it was him, "she might not be safe here."

Question now, after saying all that would Izumi get another beat down or be left alone? No matter what, she mostly said what she wanted and even if the first option was what Shi chose then she would take it... for Hana's sake.

Izumi had been someone he had grown accustomed too and someone he could learn how to love. She thought about him all the time and always took him into consideration when she did anything. She had a good will and a strong desire to become better. She was a natural born leader and smart on top of it, a good position for Jounin was something that seemed to be bestowed upon her by simple right. She could be a sensei and teach kids how to use ninjutsu and become shinobi strong as, or if not stronger than her. She was definitely someone Shihouin could admire.

But Shihouin had a bad time with relationships. They always failed for him because the woman would end up doing something, or saying something that he didn't like. Most of the time these events always happened when he was already boiled over and ready to kill someone. With Hana throwing around that 'mom' title so seriously as if it was for real, Shihouin would exercise caution around her and keep it to a minimum. Normally by now he would have eradicated everything and anything about Izumi to ashes, but Hana was saving her life.

He didn't know what came over her, or who told her to speak, or who said something about her rights as a woman. As far as Shihouin was concerned, she had about as much rights right now as a child in diapers. Whatever crossed her mind to let her think she could speak was some sort of sickness or infection in her body. Shihouin would not tolerate her talking like that for one bit and would kill whatever problem she had with fire.

She should have learned from the last move that looking into his eyes was the wrong thing to do. She probably wouldn't be able to stand up straight after this, much less do simple things like control her bowels or bladder since she had already been hit hard by one illusion to begin with. Of course he wouldn't let this time pass up at all and he felt bad if Hana was looking, but it would be over quickly and he would do it so Hana wouldn't see. After all, from Izumi's mouth, what could she do?

As soon as eye contact was made, the world around her would slowly change. The projection of a Sharingan staring straight through her would captivate her and the darkness that ensued would be tight and gripping. The screams of a many sinners and victims that Shihouin had killed would echo out across this infinite space, moans and cries of torture and torment. The floor she was on would burn her feet and cause them to stick and splatter as the ground began to literally cook her flesh.

The screams grew louder as the image around her began to burn brightly with the force of a thousand suns. The black undertones under and around her began to burn and turn red like molten metal, increasing in heat as the hell fire took place. The molten metal from around her gripped her slowly, rising up on her burning tattered body and crushing her as it formed into the shape of a giant demon.

It wore no shirt, just a tattered white cape on its hip that resembled Shihouin's own except bloodied. A mask covered it's face, with no lip and teeth that seemed to form into some jagged, crooked smile. Pieces of red blood and flesh lingered between its teeth. It had two sharp pointed horns that jutted out from his head, which pointed towards his prey. The pale body seemed unnatural in this heat, but by the time she had to realize these features it would be over.

A red ball of condensed fire took in between the horns, quickly gathering itself into a sharp ball of energy that appeared to rotate and burn like the sun. The softball size ball of demon fire shrunk down tremendously into what looked like a small red marble and the demon yelled. A blast of fire released itself from the ball, shooting out all over Izumi's body, burning her first layer of skin in no time, and then slower burning on the muscles and down to her bones which now would feel like a molten hot skeleton. Before she could completely burn away, the illusion would end all of the pain would settle into her body.

His Sharingan eye cut off after and he looked down at Izumi who would very soon take in the pain of the illusion. He would have the ANBU agents stay there and carry her body else where so she could get cleaned up. "Hana, don't listen to her. Stay off your feet. I must be on my way, but I will check up on you every now and then." He motioned towards the door. The illusion had been strong, but it was just trained so it wasn't 100% power. If she had anything else to say, she would have to choose her words carefully, or risk her life.

Izumi's heart was beating rapidly. It was like the woman had just seen death before her eyes. Hana would just hug her for now. It was all the younger girl could do. She wasn't sure what was wrong with Izumi. Her body was thin, and at the moment felt frail as she tried to keep her dignity and wipe her spit away from her lips.

Hana vaguely remembered her former best friend's word. "Do not trust Shihouin..." Why had that popped into her mind. The memory wasn't hazy like the others. Yori was surrounded by fire. His red sharingan eyes looked into her pretty blue ones with anger. Unknown to Hana was the fact that with her memories hazy and confused, she was even more gullible than before. She trusted Shihouin with her life. Where before the accident she could have some doubts but still trust him. Now, she had no doubt whatsoever.

Despite what Izumi said Hana lightly rubbed her stomach and jaw. She did it so lightly so as not to hurt the woman. Then she heard what Izumi had to say. To her mother she was strong. That made her proud. Izumi knew what was right for Hana. The young girl needed to continue to progress.

She had the will of fire. It made her smile. She was a true konoha shinobi. She'd fight to protect her village. She'd do anything for it. She had people she cared about and no matter how she pushed them away she kept making more friends. It made her want to grow stronger to protect them. To protect people like Izumi.

Soon though Izumi began to convulse again. Her body shook from whatever was hurting her. Was she sick? That had to be it! She'd been hiding a sickness from Hana! Why would she do so? Hana held Izumi tightly until it stopped. Until Izumi's head rested on her shoulder.

She then felt the weight of Izumi lifted as one of the ANBU held her in his arms. Hana stood and wiped some drool off her chin. She was so pretty, even in this state. Hana turned to Shihouin who was now speaking.

Hana sighed. Shihouin was right she SHOULD stay off her feet. It wasn't like she was going to though. She had too much training to do. Especially now that she needed to catch up to her mother. "Okay father I'll do as you ask..." She mentally told herself that she would need to go find Izumi as soon as she woke up. For now... she needed to get some errands done. By errands she needed training. Well and some weapons too.

She stood up and touched his hand lightly. "I love you dad. I'm going to go back to my place to rest for a bit." She smiled and crawled back into bed to sleep more.

After Izumi's eyes met Shi's once more, her sense of power was brought down. She felt what she said about Hana was right. Even if she honestly had not known her that long. She had confidence that she knew just from what she had seen from Hana and from what she did when fighting. Never once did she expect Shi to do this to her. But when he had, complications were destined to rise and the kunoichi's heart was bound to be broken.

As she peered into his eyes she was suddenly spell bound by the Sharingan. Her eyes began to blur out as she slowly felt Hana, whom was hugging her still, fade away as darkness took over. It gripped her all around and she choked. As darkness surrounded her from all around she then began to hear the numerous cries of terror. She heard moans, groans, screaming, and more. It all made her ears heart as it echoed through her mind. The world around seemed to them change as it grew hotter. The blacks turned to molten metal and she felt as though her whole body was being cooked in an oven, her skin feeling as though it weren't even there. She could almost smell her own flesh burning or else she was crazy.

As everything intensified and she winced in agony, the molten metal then grabbed her as it took shape into what seemed like a demon. It wore no shirt and yet had a cape that resembled Shi's. This came though was bloody. It were almost like this were Shi himself. She already knew she was fighting against his rage. Now she must have been against his kill intent too. He didn't land an actual blow. Hell, she knew this a genjutsu. It was obvious. But she was feeling a bit too weak to fight it, or even try to fight it for that matter. She submitted too it.

With the mask covering its face she couldn't see what the demon thing actually looked like. It bared its teeth though and she noticed it possessed no lips. Flesh laid between its bloodied teeth as it smiled crookedly at her. With misery she gazed back and suddenly everything changed again. A red ball of condensed flames gathered between the creatures horns. It rotated and burned like the will of fire she just explained - or at least thats what she thought. It appeared like a minuscule sun. Suddenly it shrunk and the demon yelled out. A blast of fire released from the ball and covered, causing her to want to scream out as she felt the first layer of her skin burn off and her whole world turning darker. Was she dying? Was this actually a ninjutsu or something? She was mentally stressed and confused. She was literally burning away but before she was gone completely everything came back into view. The genjutsu ended.

She looked at Shi with a blank stare before she suddenly began to grow weaker. Her eyes rolled back as she mouthed the words "Shi". No sound came out and suddenly she fell over unconscious, her whole body laying on Hana whom proceeded to hold her. Acting on the spot, the ANBU moved to her sides and looked down at her. Izumi lay still as though she were dead. They leaned down when Shi began to leave. They lifted her up away from Hana to carry her way. She would be stuck in theHokage Mansion despite her wishes right now - had she been awake that is. When she did wake up the mansion probably wouldn't look to good in the guest room she would be put in. Shi might not be happy but when she woke up the Kirigakure side in Izumi would definitely be awakened.
