Ah, another day of training. Today was taijutsu training, with a bit of weapons thrown in. He was actually mixing the taijutsu moves with his weapon fighting. grunting was heard often along with multiple footsteps upon the grass. The forest near him was actually quite quiet right now, his training the only thing to be heard. only every so often could the sound of sudden silence and heavy breathing before his training picked up again. He was strangely training with his cloak on, and currently hadn't had made any weapons yet.

The air was warm and somewhat humid. Rain was likely due soon. The sky stained a light grey, the sun hidden behind the soaked clouds. The thought of rain brought Mitsu back to the old days when he was genin, a few years back. He was so young and inexperienced. He knew virtually nothing about his clan abilities compared to what he knew presently. But he was growing back then, so it was alright. He learned a lot since then. He quit his reminiscing after he nearly fumbled from a misstep and focus shifted to his training again.

His thoughts did swing back to the old days eventually. Yoshimaru was the first to come to mind. Manipulation of his own blood, sorta like Mitsu with his bones. He never learned much about him, but he knew he was a friend. He disappeared though, no one seemed to know about him either. He remembered Grogu, the thick skulled juggernaut. Wasn't the brightest bulb in the box of ninja, that much was easy to spot from the start. But he disappeared and was replaced by Nasamea. Boy, she was...different. She had a kekkei genkai of her own that was really special. She could change into this amazing creature. Not at her level, but eventually she would have been able to. They had a bit of 'chemistry' back then, but only a little. She shot straight up to chuunin quickly after Mitsu met her. They were able to go on bigger missions because of it too. Things picked up between them, but she promoted up again a bit before he did, and they lost touch with each other. He heard she made ANBU or something like that, and he had to assume so, considering he hadn't seen her around. Out5 of all the ninja he met, Mitsu remembered Nasa the most. She was kinda the only one who really was able to understand him, and vice versa. Then again, he was one of the few who knew. They had a similar goal; bring back their clans and show the world that they aren't what their ancestors were. Mitsu sort of dropped his dream. He wouldn't get anywhere if there weren't any of his kind other than himself. He often thought of her, but over time, he nearly forgot her.

Then his mind shifted to Lady Coal, his first and only sensei he had after the academy. He was on his own after she disappeared too. He went back to training though. maybe he would think back to the genin days during his break or after training...For now, he would continue making his movements, practicing them over and over again until he made a good combo of attacks that were hard to dodge and block.

A shadow melted out of the trunk of a tree as though the being were once a part of it herself. Her mask, its appearance resembling that of a white wolf, seemed to be the only thing that lit up in the darkness. That is, before a pair of two green eyes faintly stared out through two cut out openings. The shadow shuddered but remained silent as it watched down over the lands. Minutes ticked as she saw past what her normal eyes could see and felt all around her with her sensory abilities. Her form remained still in silent; only the sound of birds chirping were heard in the branches around her as she listened. For the most part the area seemed clear and thus she moved on.

It was that time of day Arcadia, or Nasa, was sent to patrol. Typically everyone imaged that ANBU may only patrol the streets and common busy areas of the village but Nasa felt it was the least crowded areas that may pose more of a threat. Due to her master chakra control and master sensory skills she was able to sense far around her while keeping her chakra near undetected. She blended in with the wilderness as though she were a part of it herself. Her footsteps were soundless due to her training and a specific ANBU jutsu. Only thing that may catch a glimpse of her would be one's eyes but by the time they saw her she would be gone like a shadow. Besides, she would most likely detect them first.

As Nasa neared the training grounds she came to halt and quickly scanned the area once more. From what she could tell someone was 45 degrees to her left and currently mobile. She sensed the nature of the person and for the most part the users attacks seemed docile; or in other words he was training. To get a closer look though Nasa set her sights towards the training target. She arrived in no time.

From a tree at the man's back right flank, Nasa watched from the shadow of a tree. She seemed to form into the trunk of the tree as she had earlier; silent and watchful. She did not focus around her surroundings anymore as she watched the ninja train. Not even the birds in the trees around her seemed affected by her undisturbed silence. Once again her chakra also remained low and near faint. At this point the only thing that may even have a chance of giving her away were if something flashed behind her or if she revealed herself. Even if something had she could substitute and be away from this place before the ninja could even ask what happened. After all, this is why she was known as Konoha's Shadow, aside from the fact she was in ANBU.

While she watched though, something began to manifest in the back of her mind. Images of a white haired male resembling him crossed the dark abyss of her conscious as she began to go into a trance. Something about him was familiar, too familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it. All she could do was watch. Soon enough though this would end as she slammed her eyes shut and put a hand to her head. It ached, bad. She had yet to remember everything since Shi snapped her back, causing minute headaches to obnoxious migraines and affecting her work. She promised she would be fine after a while but agreed to not go on any missions until then. As the pain grew worse she let out a slight whimper without even realizing what it was she had done...

Unknowing to him, Mitsu was being watched. And it was by an old friend. But, he did not know he was being watched, so who that friend was, was a complete mystery to him. Again with not knowing, it would not be present in his mind or thoughts. He was focused on training when he heard something out of the ordinary from behind him and to the right. A whimper? But it came from a bit higher than ground level...It couldn't be a dog or something like that in a tree... Mitsu turned his head and noticed the person standing in the tree. She was unmistakably an ANBU member, the mask assured his assumptions. She did not run though, like he thought she would. ANBU are not the kind to just be seen like that.

"Umm...Hello? Is there a reason an ANBU operative is watching me? Last time I checked, I hadn't done anything wrong." He was a bit smug, since he noticed her. She would probably run away then and there, but then again she might not. Mitsu kept his hood up and cloak completely on. The rain would come soon, so that would give an excuse to keep it on. Mitsu was only a mere chuunin. Resisting an ANBU would be out of the question, had he somehow done anything wrong, so he would cooperate if she asked.

He looked over her features that he could actually see, which wasn't much. The white mask resembled a wolf, possibly a rare species at that, but Mitsu wouldn't know. He tried to see the ANBU's eyes through the slits, but it was too far for him to be able to see. Who was this person? why was she watching him? He knew for a fact he had done nothing wrong, so there should be no reason she was watching. He really wanted to find out, but he kept those feelings to himself and locked away. He put on a puzzled look, but considering he had on the cloth over his mouth and the hood hiding his eyes, she wouldn't see much of his face either.

The sound of his voice and tone of his words caused a knife to form, its tip placing itself in her mind as she threw up another hand. Now both of her hands caressed her head as she winced in pain and shuddered. She hated this and knew it was interfering with her work. To make matters worse she had been seen as well and couldn't focus enough to kawarimi or even move really. Her captain would tear her to bits. She was already on his last nerve after the incident with Shihouin and Ayame. Plus her reoccurring fits were not helping either. She was trying to hold on to this position as much as she could but at this rate she would have to take a year off or else be demoted. She didn't want that to happen.

Nasa tried to move to get away from this ninja before he grasped her identity aside from the fact he already saw her mask. He could report the mask and they would instantly know it was Nasa. Especially because this was her current patrolling sector for the day. By forcing her feet to move while gripping her head even more, she made a move to leap but managed to trip on her feet instead. The initial take off from the tree was to much for her mind to focus and so she fell from the bark, nearly landed on another branch, but was on the ground in no time. She let out a light oof, not wanting to be to loud, before she placed her back against the bark for support. She needed to get the hell out of there. At the moment she was in the worst position ever. All because of this man's familiar appearance...and familiar voice...

Once more she tried to push off against the bark to get up and get away, the idea of kawarimi displaced from her mind. She was trying to figure out who this man was in order to possibly clear her thoughts so she could make a clean getaway but her plans weren't working. So she was stuck; her back against the tree as she starred up. Her arms fell to her sides and soon enough she was playing dead. Maybe then he would leave but who knew.

The ANBU seemed to be in pain, concerning Mitsu. She tried to jump away but tripped and fell, so Mitsu started in her direction. Again, she attempted to flee, but no avail. Her head was causing her too much pain for her to move, which meant it must be a lot. Mitsu quickened his pace when she couldn't move the second time and was there at her side quickly.

Are you okay? What can I do to help?" Mitsu completely forgot the fact that she was ANBU and saw her as a person in need. And not only a person, a Leaf ninja at that. That mean he had to do what he could to help. He placed his arm around her and tried to hold her up for support. He meant absolutely no harm, and hopefully the secure yet gentle way he held her would prove that. It was going to rain soon, very soon, too. The sound of light thunder from a distance proved it to be so. Mitsu slowly lowered her to the floor so she could sit down and rest. As much as Mitsu wanted to remain hidden, he had to take off his hood to see better. If this girl knew him, then this should pretty much be a dead giveaway. It might take a little bit of time though, a few of his facial features had aged a bit, but his snow white hair and its particular style never changed over the years.

Mitsu would help out the girl first, then worry about why she was watching him later. What if it was Nasa? he had heard that rumor awhile back about her going there, but he couldn't know for sure. ANBU tried to keep the names of the troops unknown. That is why they are given codenames and aliases. Anbu was good at keeping things all hush-hush and need-to-know basis kind of junk. It burrowed into his mind, almost to the point where he HAD to find out. He wouldn't press too hard, they aren't allowed to reveal their true selves.

The ninja ran over to her, causing her some angst as she tried to get up and move away again. Sadly she barely twitched as the pain thundered in her head; or was that real thunder? She thought she saw a flash of light. Maybe she was crazy or she was having a hemorrhage instead. She felt faint.

Suddenly she felt an arm around her though and clearly identified it as the mans. She nearly lost it and tried to focus a substitution but figured she should forget it. She began to slightly settle down now after hearing his voice and feeling his arm. A memory shot back and as she peered up at his face it all came clear. This was her friend from time's past. A friend who, after she went through all the stuff with Shi, was there to pick up her pieces and show her humans truly were caring. Truth it now she understood what all this felt now that she literally was human. She hated it kind of but then again there was nothing she could do.

As he helped her sit down she formed words in her mind. She couldn't simply take off her mask, that was forbidden, but maybe her voice would trigger something in his mind. She seemed better now that all the memories were rushing back. Between him and Shi the two restored majority of her memories. If only she could find her original parents now. She couldn't remember their names, voices, or anything. She felt her real parents had disappeared but these substitute, or step, were important to her too. She would figure it out eventually.

"Thank you..." she finally said from behind the wolf mask. She sat against the tree with her arm on her knee and head down. The only thing he could possibly identify her with was her voice due to the fact she now had black hair. Even her physical structure was different; more grown out and curvy due to the fact she was now an adult. However, her eye color was different and everything.

"Sorry about that.... you weren't even supposed to see me...promise me you won't tell anyone it will ruin my career. I'm nearly at the end as it is..." she said before sighing, her chest lifting up and down with her stomach, "I needed to know who you were there... and although you may not have figured out who I am yet... I finally found my answer...Mitsuhide."

He was the last person to see her before her disappearance. She broke up with him on the last time too. It always made her wonder if he suffered anything because of that; whether it be emotionally or people asking him questions. Maybe nobody did and maybe he was fine. She figured she would find out soon enough though.

This person somehow knew his name. He was almost on alert, but her words before that led to assume she didn't know him from before, which meant he wasn't under watch for something illegal. That put him a ease. She just wanted to know who he was. Yes, it was a she. He could easily tell that from her voice. There was a vague familiarity in her voice that reminded him of someone he knew, but who was still cloudy. Her voice had deepened slightly over the years, and so now it would be slightly hard to recognize. Little did he know it was the one he had been thinking back on not too long ago, Nasamea, the woman he possibly could have loved.

He had feelings for her, and he knew she felt the same way, at least a little bit. He was there for her when she needed him. He was a friend, and kind of wanted to be a bit more. They could understand one another, what is was like to be hated at some point, what is was like to not have parents. There were so much alike and yet oh so different. It had suddenly hit him then. All of the memories had rushed in at once. Mitsu was indeed sorrowful at the news of her disappearance. He shed a few tears one day, but it wasn't much. Just the sadness at the loss of a good friend. He would look back on some days and remember, and wonder why she would just leave without even saying goodbye...

A small tear rolled down his softly tanned cheek. He was happy and sad at the same time. It was just enough of both to make that single tear. "I suppose you are right. Its been about four years since you left this village without saying goodbye. A few people had asked me where you might have gone off to, of course, I didn't know, and it took me some time to realize i was the last person to see you before you left. But you know, I would have been at a bit of ease knowing you had at least left. I thought I lost a good friend that day I found out. I thought that maybe some of the clan members found you and took you away to try to get any information your dead parents had secretly left behind. But then your foster parents didn't seem to know either. I guess it was kinda good though, I was able to get to chuunin and learn a lot of my planned jutsu. And now, there is another Kaguya running around the village too. She has potential, and I'll be training her, at least in the ways of the bloodline jutsu. But back to the topic. I see you are still way ahead of me, already in ANBU. You must be pretty proud of yourself. And I'm guessing you could still kick my ass too." Mitsu chuckled a bit and then continued.

"Its nice to see you again, Nasa." Mitsu wiped away the lone tear before She could turn around and see. If she did turn around though, she would see that classic warm smile he seemed to have when around her.

His words resembled that of a chorus while his figure stood tall. He had been training a lot since she last seen him; this much was obvious. He sounded more outgoing as well but still reclaimed his gentleman nature. She could somewhat see why she began to take interest in him. Had she not been in love with Shi or ran off like she had maybe they could have had a future as well. Then again, Nasa lost interest in relationships as well. Now she only wished to live on as a ninja in obtain to grow stronger... and one day beat Shi.

Aside from that though her best interest is in the village. This of course began to day she came to realization Shi was just not in her grasp anymore as a potential lover. Maybe he was right anyway, ninja had little room for love. Especially when in ANBU.

The head pangs began again, casting her head to the bark as she stared up at the sky. Beneath her wolven mask her face was scrunched and teeth clenched. She quickened her breath again as memories began to break the dam; flooding her mind with vivid images. She saw faint memories of her childhood, the death of her parents, her foster parents, and of course memories of Mitsu. With this came images of when she would be at her house - when Shi's father came in. When Shi returned to her. There were more and more. Soon enough Mitsu's voice drowned out as darkness overcame her. Her body fell over a bit from there.

Mitsu wouldn't get a response back but give or take ten minutes and Nasa would be back in conscious. At the moment there was an overload of memories and images flowing through her mind. It were almost like everything was a dream. She saw things from her start up until she was stolen away from Konoha. She remembered the lab and her return. This would be where it ended seeing as how she was up to date from there. One thing for sure, she would wake up with a headache but then again she had a feeling this would be the last of her memories.

By the time she woke back up again, a small whisper would escape under her breath while she remained limp against the tree, "i'm sorry I left... but it's nice to see you too. Also... I am refereed to as Arcadia now..."

For now she needed at least a little time to rest so she could get back up on her feet, continue her patrol, and take a day or two vacation. At least this time she could promise the higher ups this should be the last time she would need it. All thanks to Mitsu, her memories were piecing together and soon enough Nasamea Tsuyoshi came back into picture.

It was a bit after mentioning her parents were dead that she fell back down and was unconcious. Mitsu propped her body against the tree and waited there. She had asked him not to let anyone know she was caught like that, so going for help you pretty much go against that. She was still his friend afterall, so he would just consider it a small favor. Who knows? Maybe he could use that later.

Mitsu had also lost a place for love. He liked hitting up women every so often, but he was doing it less frequently than he used to. He was starting to lose interest in women. That, or he was getting more...picky. He had gotten so focused on his training though, he had virtually no time for girls.

Mitsu let his mind wander as he sat next to Nasa, waiting for her pain to stop. He looked over at the clear area of the sky, which was quickly being whisked away by the grey clouds full of their watery load, soon to be unable to bare the burden any longer and unleash it all from their heavenly residence down to the earth. Konoha needed a good rain anyway.

His mind didn't really drift much, just mainly back to the first time he and Nasa met, at a team meeting. Come to think of it, Yoshimaru disappeared as well. Maybe certain people Mitsu was around had a tendency to disappear? Nah, that would be too weird and stupid of an assumption to arrive to. Things happen to ninjas all the time. He noticed there were 2 ninja though, probably either still in the academy that would possibly give him interest, but they would be at the back of his mind until he could get more details about them.

He thought he would go back to training a bit more until she woke up but then she spoke. "i'm sorry I left... but it's nice to see you too. Also... I am refereed to as Arcadia now..." Mitsu waited a few minutes for her to get fully back into the game before speaking again.

"Heh...got yourself an alias now eh? or did you completely change your name? I managed to get one of those things myself you know. Being in ANBU you might have heard rumors around some surrounding towns and villages about the one known as the 'White Devil'. Seemingly a do-gooder. Well, That'd be me. People gave it to me though, not myself. I thought it sounded a bit cool when I first actually heard it so I let it stick. Some found me out, but I always disappeared before word got out farther. I didn't want poor people's things or money for my kindness. Oh ya, I forgot to mention that. I got the Hokage's permission to wander around outside of the village for awhile to train. Took a bit of convincing to say it would benefit me. I had to cut in a deal by laying low and taking in some intel on some certain places. It wasn't considered a mission though, it was what I had to do to get out of the place. I traveled a lot though, got to see some wonderful places, got in a few fights too, but I was able to handle them. Geeze, look at me talk, I never talk this much." Mitsu smiled and scratched the back of his head with a slight chuckle of his.

Mitsu seemed to be telling a story when she came to. She was in and out on a few parts but heard majority of it. Appears he was known as the 'White Devil' now. She would confer that she had heard this name but sadly, after being cooped up in a lab without her memory, she had not. Faint images of this said place bounced around again but Mitsu's voice aided her in blocking them out. From what she could tell he had been a rather decent life. He got to travel about and appeared to be on the Hokage's good side. She didn't even know where she stood with the man considering they never really talked much. She would go in, request permission for a mission, thank him, and take off. Never "how do you do?" or "what a nice tie you have there". Did he even wear ties?

"Sounds like everything has been going according to plan with you" she said briskly, her eyes fully opened again as the headache receded, "I would say I heard your name before too but sadly I had not. The "White Devil" alias and well, about yourself too. I noticed you were on a list of those granted permission to leave from the Hokage. Can't say I necessarily have that sort of permission my self."

In a sense she was saying "kudos to you" for his recent efforts involving not only this but his clan as well. She now even wondered who this female was and if maybe there was any spark between him and another. She didn't care any. She didn't truly want him back nor anyone. He was to much of a brother or best friend.. that is...unless something changed between them. But what could have changed?

Before the silence grew too long, she spoke again.

"For my story, my alias is not necessarily "an alias" but more so my recorded name. Nasamea is technically dead due to her "disappearance". You see, years ago when I had ran off I had well, been kidnapped. They then took me across the borders and into the vast wasteland otherwise known as Suna. I was placed inside some lab in the middle of the desert someone. From there I was experimented on and well...." she raised a hand up and peered down at her palm, I am not necessarily what I used to be."

Her fingers twitched then as though they lightly fluttered before she bent them to cover her palm. She allowed her hand to fall back to the dirt at her side as she stared forward. She was silent for a moment as she gathered her words and kept the front of her mask forward; her eyes focused beyond the tree line in front of them.

"This is information only about two people know and may actually understand. Aside from those involved. When I was placed in that lab I was experimented on to where I lost my bloodline and was replaced with another. I don't know how it's possible or why but I think they wanted to test the D base. Anyway, I am not apparently a Satetsu user who is associated with the Kinozku clan. I was given a name and documents were filed stating I was born into the clan but never registered at birth due to "being born on the road" or some jazz. It appears my day as a Tsuyoshi are gone with my old self..."

She knew it wasn't 100% true because she knew she was still "Nasamea", but she didn't know how else to describe it. Aside from that she still missed being a member of her clan even though she enjoyed her new abilities.

To show Mitsu what she meant by being a "Satetsu user", all metallic objects on hand suddenly started to vibrate violently for a few seconds before she turned her head towards him. They had stopped by then but had he looked into her eyes he could spy a tint of playfulness.

"Not necessarily metal control," she exclaimed with a hint of humor, "but a rarely seen power at that."

It was obvious she enjoyed it.

Nasa had seemed to have gone through a lot, and considering she was who she was, the story didn't seem too far fetched. Yes, it must have been a terrible experience, but then again, she seemed to be over it, so he didn't get too far into thought with that. But a new kind of ability? He felt his tools shake as well, after all, he kept wire with him. If it wasn't metal control, then perhaps magnetic?

His mind shifted to thinking about different uses of it, but he quickly realized he was drifting off and shook back to reality with a simple blink. "Thats a shame that you've never heard of me. I thought ANBU would have kept tabs on stuff like that. But that power must be really something. Perhaps you have control over magnetism? or the ability to control the magnetic field around you or something? I suppose there are a lot of possibilities....Jeeze look at me rambling again. Well, when I get on a topic that interests me, sometimes I can't shut up. And it looks like your story tops mine as far as excitement. But I bet you would have liked to be able to see more of the world, wouldn't have you?" Mitsu gave another classic smile of his before going on. "I've gotten better myself. I've got some new techniques of my own. I finally learned ones I was planning and I'm working out others. Mainly weapons, But I need to figure out which bones work for the weapons. If I choose the wrong bone, the weapon wont be as effective. Why do I ramble like this? Maybe I'm a bit nervous after finally seeing you again after all this time...I see you dyed your hair black..." Mitsu basically changed the subject so he could listen a bit more instead of just talking.

Arcadia sat in silence as she stared up at the tree tops. A soft light melted between the leaves of the canopy and down before them; creating a circle at their heels. She stared at it for a moment as a few black backed, which glowed somewhat brown, crickets stepped into the brightness before they sank down below the blades of grass. She thought this seemed like a gateway to heaven, if there were one.

She waited patiently for a response from Mitsu, allowing him to soak everything in and assuming there was the possibility he had questions. She had yet to take her mask off and didn't plan on it either. Wasn't it against the rules? Anyone could be nearby to see her even though her guard was up. Suddenly, his head shook as he snapped back into reality. This caused her to then turn her head towards him; her eyes barely glancing through the edges of the eye holes.

"Thats a shame that you've never [... ] your hair black..."

She chuckled a bit as she turned her attention to the sky once more; thinking about where she should even begin to explain. Her previous explanation on breached the surface of the giant picture within the lab. She needed a way to simplify it while keeping it descriptive. She hummed.

"Well, while I was in that lab, as I said I was changed into a new person. In short, I was genetically modified into a basically new being. My hair darkened to black apparently, my eyes are now green, and well my skin isn't as pale as it once was. I can actually tan now. But aside from that, the reason i haven't heard anything was because between my capture and maybe a week or so ago I finally obtained all my memories from Konoha and well, everything before my absence. Aside from that I was locked into that lab and very rarely go out once I was out until placed in ANBU."

She sighed a bit, "I still want to see the world still but I think I will be able to soon enough."

The fixed light before them soon began to grow dimer as it crept towards Arcadia. She glanced at it for moment in silence. It stopped just short of her ankles, basking her feet in warm sun light. Once more she returned her attention to Mitsu.

"Your story is still interesting nonetheless. At least you were out and about, I was trapped in that lab as I said while they tested on me. Not entirely fun despite the excitement. Hnnn but anyway, why so nervous?"

She smirked beneath the mask while a hint of sarcasm could be picked up in her voice, "i'm not technically a big bag dog dragon thing anymore. If I were you I would possibly be more relaxed. No fangs here, ha."

Mitsu chuckled at her last comment. True, she was no longer able to become a beast, but he was never really afraid of that part of her in the first place. "I don't know, maybe its because of the way we left things when we last saw eachother. I was at your house back then and...I guess I mean to say we left with...feelings for eachother or something. But, as time rolled by, I lost those feelings, I excepted the fact that you were gone and wouldn't likely see you again. I've just noticed that my friends keep disappearing. First Grogu, you were his replacement. Then Lady Coal and shortly Yoshimaru...Then finally you. I was basically alone again, and I knew the only way I could prevent that from getting at me was to roam around and keep training on my mind. I had to practically beg the hokage to let me go, thats why I got the mission without getting credit for it. I was just thankful to already be chuunin. I'm going to assume that you have gotten over those feelings with everyone though. I at least hope you have. They caused you so much trouble, so much pain. I really do hope at least that much is gone."

Mitsu noticed she had kept looking at the sky, and he would peer up at it through the leaves as well. The sunlight that was shining through the leaves had suddenly faded, being covered by a slow moving, light grey cloud. It was going to rain soon. It should have already been raining by now, actually. Mitsu adjusted himself, moving his leg as it was starting to fall asleep and then he adjusted his cloak, closing in the front more, just as a breeze rolled in, moving his hair in the wind as it did. The more he thought about it, he had seemed to be an adult already. He was going to be 18 very soon, and his next goal was to become jounin and get a team of his own. Sure, they would have been little brats, but they would need a master, and Mitsu felt he had a duty to help the other generations by giving them a sensei, something he didn't really have as a genin.

Mitsu blinked again, which was his was of snapping back to the present. "To be honest, I wasn't really afraid of that form way back then. I don't really know why. Maybe it was because I knew you were a friend. I'm kind of glad you are around though. Maybe if we get lucky we could possibly become partners for missions now. I mean, I know you are in ANBU, and won't be able to go on very many normal missions, if any. But it would be nice to just hang out and catch up when you were off duty or something."

She listened to all he had to say before a she stood up; a sigh escaping between her lips. Sure, if she were a typical Jounin she would easily have accepted his offer but she wasn't. Since she was in ANBU, her time consisted of ANBU. She was lucky enough to have these spar few minutes talking to Mitsu after so many years. However, like someone sneaking into their lovers bedroom while their parents were still around, she needed to get out before she was caught.

Upon standing she faced away from Mitsu as she stared at the forest beyond them. She could disappear at any given second but seeing as how she literally vanished once, she felt doing so again wouldn't be so fun.

"Sorry Mitsu, but given my position I am not even truly supposed to be talking to you. My work consists of ANBU and the members in it. Having a social life is very hard anymore and most of the time, those that did it, it is because they are assigned to. I can assure you I am not faking, but as for going on missions, etc..." she shook her head and turned to him, "i'm not sure if it's even allowed."

She fell silent for a moment as she looked down at the grass before them. Turns out she was standing in the center of the sun's beam; casting a shadow over Mitsu. If it weren't for her being surrounded by a bunch of black clothing she may very well have glowed. A hand was then extended.

"Even though I probably shouldn't say this, I still want to be friends though. I'll try to get us a mission whenever possible too, that way you'll rank faster and we can actually "hang out". Maybe then you can join our ranks one day if you try hard enough."

She hoped to empower him somehow or encourage him to try harder. Thinking over the mission part: she knew all she would have to do is ask the Hokage himself.

He knew what her answer was going to be for the most part. ANBU agents spent all of their time as ANBU. They didn't have lives outside of their work unless they had a mission that allowed them to. There was still a chance though. Just maybe.

Nasa spoke and he listened, just like he always did. He had a goal of ranking up. Staying chuunin forever wasn't his plan at all. "Don't you worry about me ranking up. Becoming a chuunin was merely a stepping stone. I won't stop until I'm at the top! I hope once I'm jounin I'll be able to get assigned a team. At least, thats what I'm hoping for anyway. I'm assuming now that you can stand you won't be staying. I can understand. ANBU aren't allowed to be spotted, let alone talking to others. But missions...do what you used to do and drop off a letter in my mail box about the mission info if you are able to. I'd be happy to show you whats new with me. I guess I'll get back to training before this rain settles in. Goodbye Nasamea, if you mind me still calling you that. I'll see you another time hopefully." Mitsu turned around and started walking back to where he was before, raising his hand in the air so wave goodbye before stopping.

"Oh, and one more thing. Mitsu quickly grew and threw a bone dagger at Nasa's feet. The blade was much sharper than he was used to be able to make, and the whole thing seemed to look like it was made by a master bladesmith. He had been working on making the blade when he started walking away. The blade was four inches long, and the detail in the hilt and handle were simply amazing. If she were to look closely enough, the name "Arcadia" would be seemingly carved into the handle with intricate letters, and on the very bottom of the handle, an elaborate and fancy "M" for Mitsu. "In case we don't get the chance to meet again, I'd like you to keep that as a reminder of a good friend. Try to keep in touch if you want, just nothing over the top though, don't want us seeming like a couple. Now go on and finish whatever you were doing before you fell from the tree. I'll see you around." So Mitsu waited for her to leave before resuming his training again, until the rain started.

She picked up the bone and glanced it over; quickly noticing her name along with an "M" engraved into it. She couldn't feel it through its glove but noticed it was rather heavy. She glanced back up at him as he spoke some more before she turned her attention back to the bone. She quickly pocketed it and threw up a thumbs up. Right afterwards though it would seem almost as though she vanished in thin air; utilizing the invisibility technique special to ANBU members. By then Mitsu would probably assume she took off. However, she had another idea.

When he would turn away to walk off, Nasa would suddenly appear before him. In fact she was basically within a foot of him. By then he would probably wonder what the heck was going on. To make it worse she reached out and hugged him; even if he wasn't liking it.

"This is for not saying goodbye the right way," she whispered before stepping away to separate them. She continued to speak in a low voice, "now we really can move on, right?"

Before he had a chance to answer, her form disappeared once more. Little did he know she used the invisibility jutsu, leaped into a tree, and was waiting for him to leave. This way she would be undetected upon exiting.
