| Name: Tamashī no kuiiru yō ni miru shizoku • Saidoken (A.K.A. Soul Devour) Clan Founder: Han Moto Saidoken Location: Anywhere. Usually hang out near Graveyards. History: The Saidoken Clan was created many years ago when some Missing Nin gathered together in a graveyard and decided to experiment with the souls of the dead and their own chakra. They knew that chakra was the energy of one's soul and even the dead had souls. They practiced for days, weeks, months, and years on end to pull the souls out of the ground to strengthen their own souls. They wanted power, they wanted speed, they wanted intelligence. They began to gain excitement once they started to actually pull the souls from the ground. Until one of those souls was an evil soul and corrupted one of the Missing nin, causing him to go insane and kill his partners. As that lone missing nin grew in age and had children of his own, he began to sense the souls in the ground, and the power of the souls of the living. He led his family of saidoken through countless tests to push the extent of one that could devour souls. His children grew and passed on the bloodline of saidoken. The saidoken are a rare few, and most don't tend to stay in one place for too long. They are scattered throughout the world and prefer to be near graveyards of the strong. Most Saidoken live in these graveyards and attempt to scare away any person that enters the graveyard, if they cannot scare them, they attempt to kill them and devour their soul as well. Most ninja that can devour the souls of the fallen, and occasionally of the living, are mentally insane from the screams of the souls that enter their brain when they devour. But even the screams aren't enough to stop someone who wishes for that much power. Most ninja of the Saidoken clan, tend to utilize both Ninjutsu and Weapon Mastery. Special Info: They usually have dark colored hair, dark colored eyes, and tend to wear darker clothing. But can be highly varied. Requirements: You MUST be born into the bloodline. Name of the Kekkei Genkai: Saidoken No jutsu Type of Kekkei Genkai: Soul Devouring (ninjutsu/Weaponry) Rank: C-S Description: *Read spoiler for all actual number calculations* Soul Devour - Soul devouring is the art of drawing souls of the fallen out of the ground. More experienced ninja may draw a small part of their opponent's soul. As everyone knows, there is a large number of souls that are both positive and negative. Positive souls refill your chakra and allow you use of clan Jutsus. without them, you can only use the clan jutsus at the minimum rank. Negative souls either steal your chakra, or impair you else wise through your physical. IE: weaker, slower, less intelligent, or other similar effects. Negative souls are scarce around 10ft under, and become much more common at about 20ft down. but you can steal up to 25ft underground. The more energy you put into it, the more souls you'll draw, and the further you'll go down. Although, positive souls are scarce 20 ft down, they are much stronger. Each time you draw from the ground you remove another soul. You must draw all the souls from the area underground, before you can continue deeper. When you draw all remaining souls, you must descend another 5 feet, the next time you draw in that area. - Spoiler:
You draw souls from 5 feet below you until 10 souls are drawn, then you move to the 10 foot mark and draw 10 more souls, then to the 15 and draw 10, so on and so forth.
If you can not utilize the chakra that is drawn, it goes away and returns to the earth. IE: a D rank ninja draws from 25 feet down, it regains as much C and D rank as it can from what's available, but the rest disappears.
**The souls drawn and chakra restore are used for clan jutsus only. Without the souls, clan jutsus can be used, but at 1 rank lower. (With souls, A=A, B=B, etc. Without souls A=B, B=C, etc.)**
5 feet down-
100% chance that soul refills 1 D rank chakra.
10 feet down-
chance of 7 out of 10 souls, that refill 1 C rank chakra. chance of 3 out of 10 souls, that drain 1 C chakra.
15 feet down-
chance of 5 out of 10 souls, that refill 1 B rank chakra, or 1 C rank and 2 D rank. chance of 5 out of 5 souls, reduce your speed by 10%.
20 feet down-
chance of 3 out of 10 souls, that refill 1 A rank chakra; or 1 B rank, 2 C rank and 3 D rank. chance of 7 of 10 souls, reduce your strength by 20%.
25 feet down-
chance of 1 out of 10 souls, that refill 1 S rank chakra; or 1 A rank, 2 B rank, 3 C rank, and 4 D rank. chance of 9 out of 10 souls, drains 1 S rank chakra; or 1 A rank, 2 B rank, 3 C rank, and 4 D rank, and reduce your physical being by 2%.

Description: This is a weaponry jutsu used by members of the soul devour clan. The user performs the necessary hand signs and devours one soul that was drawn from the ground to form a normal weapon with a blade, such as an axe, a sword, a shuriken, and others of the variety. The only different between the blade created here and a normal blade is the appearance. It turns a soul into the shape and sharpness of a normal blade. If a soul has not been drawn from the ground prior to the use of this technique, regard the weapon as one rank lower than what was summoned. IE: A C rank Genin uses Soul Slash with a soul to conjure a C rank sword. Without the soul, it is counted as a D rank sword.

The only different between the blunt weapon created here and a normal blunt weapon is the appearance. It turns a soul into the shape and length of a normal blunt weapon. If a soul has not been drawn from the ground prior to the use of this technique, regard the weapon as one rank lower than what was summoned. IE: A C rank Genin uses Soul Blunt with a soul to conjure a C rank Staff. Without the soul, it is counted as a D rank staff.

Description: This is a weaponry jutsu used by members of the soul devour clan. The user performs the necessary hand signs and devours one soul that was drawn from the ground to form many knives that surround the target. These knives will hover in a circle, approximately 1 yard away from the target's waist. Which can be used to lead the target somewhere, hold him in place, or to deal damage. However, this technique is only used to hold a target in place or to direct the target if the target does not wish to be stabbed. The number of knives are chosen by the user.

Description: This is a weaponry jutsu used by members of the soul devour clan. The user performs the necessary hand signs and devours one soul that was drawn from the ground to form a sword that hovers about a meter above the target. This sword can be used to either damage, or to paralyze a limb based on where it enters the target's body. A target can move out of the way of the sword while it's hovering, but when the user sends the sword inward, it moves too quickly for the normal ninja to avoid.

The user must strike the opponent with one of their weapons and pull the soul from their target, through the user's weapon.

Description: This is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Saidoken Clan. After performing the necessary two handed hand signals, The user can deplete all souls present in the ground to create an explosion of energy. It deals massive damage to anyone caught within the 5 meter radius of the explosion, including the ninja that uses the technique, if the user is in range. This technique can break bones and even kill weaker foes. This technique can be extended to a larger radius, at the cost of the user's own health. The user also becomes weakened temporarily by using such a powerful technique. It causes the user to faint usually, but can sometimes lead to comatose, slight brain damage, or even 2% physical being loss.

| The problem with this is that souls within naruto arent composed of energy, nor are they truly a component of chakra/stamina[energy within the Naruto]. As far as offensive capabilities, the soul is useless as the only thing that can be done with the soul is for it to be sealed and when fully sealed it results in physical death. |
