Got Money Empty
PostSubject: Got Money   Got Money EmptySun May 29, 2011 3:06 pm

Spoiler:

Yamazu lent against the wall that surrounded Konoha, staring into the sky. It was a clear day today, the sun shining freely down onto the world. The blonde haired shinobi close his eyes and took a deep breath, his habitual smile sliding easily onto his face. There were troubling times brewing. Attacks on the Village and corruption at the highest seat indicated that things were going to get messy and with great speed. But even so, it was nice to sit back and bask in the simply joys of life. A sunny day, a passing smile, an outbreak of glorious birdsong; whatever it was, it reminded one of the pure ecstasy of just being alive.

A cloud lazily drifted across the sun, blocking it's warm light from the Monkey Sage's face. Opening his eyes, the black coloured orbs flickered briefly with worry. Should he have really accepted this mission? With so many potential threats bearing down on Konoha, should he not be remaining here to see that nothing bad happened? The thought swiftly left his mind as he got a grip on himself.

There were many capable shinobi inside the Village, many of which were greater than he. If something went wrong they would be able to hold their own, regardless of whether or not he stayed behind. Besides, it had been a while since he last went on a mission. Staying inside the Village walls for so long had left him feeling couped up as it usually did. He needed this outing to work out his energy. It had been a long while since he had himself a good scrap.

If the mission details had been correct, he was certainly in for a decent fight when he reached the bank. The Samurai where not to be taken lightly. It was one of their number that had trained the mighty Master Yojimbo after all. Yamazu knew he would need all his skill against such foes. Especially since the lives of bystanders were at stake. For their were hostages involved as well. Their safety, in the Monkey Sage's opinion anyway, were far more important than any amount of money. A human life was far more precious than gold or jewels.

He would not be alone in this endeavor though. It had been mentioned that there would be others to join him, three others to be exact. The tip off about the bank break in had been in time for them to get to the location, if they set off swiftly. There had been little time to say who would be joining him, but there would be free moments while they traveled to get accustomed to each other.

He had been the first to arrive and he was quickly becoming bored. Looking around, Yamazu jogged towards the wall of the giant Gateway, applying chakra to his feet. He ran straight upwards until he reached the very top of the Gate, chuckling to himself as looked out on the road ahead. He wondered who would get here first?

PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptySun May 29, 2011 4:51 pm

A figure soon appeared from a corner around 40 feet from the gates. Due to the distance it was hard to see the face, but one thing stood out clear; a long mane of pink hair, reaching the knees of the person. As the person eventually reached within 20 feet of the gate, it was revealed to be a young kunoichi. Her attire was rather light in its color, but pieces of dark clothing was present: On the upper body, she was wearing two layers of clothing. The first layer consisted of a normal short sleeved top, reaching around an inch above the burst. The second layer was a white and light blue sleeveless vest. It was tied together with strings, which could be opened with a single pull. On the back of the vest, the Haruno family sign, a blue circle, was engraved. Her arms were naked from the shoulders to the wrist, were a pair of black fingerless gloves was worn. On her legs, she wore a pair of black pants, which allowed movement and warmth. They reached a few inches below her knees, leaving some skin bare. Her boots was the same color as the west, had a small heel, and reached up to her lower leg. To end it all, she was wearing a basic medic skirt in the same color as her gloves.

Needles, the medicene bottles from A to Z, scalpels, bandages, steel wire, kunai`s, herb book guide.... Kamira tapped the nail of her index finger a little against the headband around her neck. Had she remembered all? It was highly unlikely something was missing, it was after all the sixth time she went through it. My first A rank mission...i can`t mess up here.Out of habit, she used her other hand to secure that the medic bag tied to her lower back, was safetly secured. If the mission should fail because she dropped the bag, she would be better dead than to show her face to her mother. Remembering her mother, she let her eyes fall onto the ground, falling into thoughts.

"An A rank mission?", the pink haired Haruno mother bursted out, being close to dropping the dishes. "An A rank huh? Either Hokage-sama hates you, else he belives you are cable, Imouto-san(little sister)". "Its been pretty busy in the past few days, i`m just getting send since no one else is avaliable". "Don`t be like that, i`m sure the hokage trusts your abilities as a medic. Aren`t you of the haruno family eh? Have more confidence!", her grandfather, Chori(tulip), grunted from the large courch. "He is right as always. Do your best, but be careful. Everybody at the hospital would be sad if you got hurt, as well as all the boys..". "Okaa-san!", she shouted up with a embaressed face.

My family is a bit crazy now that i think of it... The chunin let out a little sigh, looking up from the ground. Even through they could be odd at times, she loved her family dearly. She also knew, that she should be grateful that she still had them. While it was not so common for shinobi to die on missions anymore like back in the times of war and conflict, young shinobi still had to grow up with only one, or maybe no parents at all. Her mother was always concerned whenever she went on missions outside of the village, but she knew the feeling. With Keiro being in the ANBU, she was concerned every time he didn`t come home for dinner...

a bonk to the head snapped her out of the thoughts. Kamira touched her forehead lightly, brushing a few strands of pink hair out of the eyes. "i got lost in thoughts again, didn`t i?". While mumbling to herself, she laid the head back slightly. Having walked directly into the left gate like a blind fool, if any of her assigned team mates had been present, she would have turned completely red. As her eyes traveled further up the gate, she spotted a blond man. He was at least above 30, but not so old that wrinkles had started to show. Since no one else was around, she put her left hand to the side of her mouth.

"Yamazu-sama! I`m Haruno Kamira, i will be joining your mission!". Having introduced herself, she glanced down the road herself. Who would the remaining two be?

(Sorry its bad and bland, busy busy x.x)

Got Money Empty

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

Hana grinned ear to ear whilst training. She had an hour to meet up with her teammates. She could get some kenjutsu training in. She was working on battoujutsu mainly. A type of sword style. A type she wanted to excel at. She wanted to become the best in this style. After Ayame taught her the most basic fundamental of this technique Hana had begun to read up on it. She'd studied it for over a month and now was the time to actually begin to train for it.

Hana grinned and unsheathed her sword lightening fast. This was the most basic technique for Battoujutsu. Unsheathing and resheathing. Actually it was all the sword style was about. But it was about control and speed. Being able to do so before your enemy even blinks or realizes you'd slashed their stomach open. She continued this for some time. She was already fast at unsheathing the sword so this took little time. Hana planned on practicing these techniques for the duration of the mission. On her enemies and such.

Hana practiced her next technique. This one she quickly unsheathed her blade and slashed the earth with the sword towards her target. Basically it was a nearby tree, but for now it was her enemy. The rubble from the earth and dirt hit it hard leaving dents in the tree. Hana practiced this for a few more times as well. She wanted to perfect this. She did so until finally it was time to meet up with her new teammates. She knew one. She'd read the list in Shihouin's office. There were perks to being his pupil. The other girl, that was near her age, she did not know. A medical ninja by the looks of her.

Hana grinned to herself as she resheathed her sword. Ayame would be late. Shihouin had been giving her some errands and the older woman told her to tell the other's that she would catch up. Hana ran towards the gates. There the young, pink haired girl was yelling up at Yamazu. Why did everyone worry about honorifics? Hana had wanted to meet the monkey sage again, though on better conditions than the last time.

She was tempted to yell up to him too. Though she wanted to seem cool and wanted to show off a bit to the other girl. Hana smirked and licked her lips before yelling up at the older man. "What are you doing up there Yamazu?! Peeping on young girls or something! I'm ready to go when you two are! Ayame-sensei said to go on without her. She'd catch up." Hana let out a giggle and waited for the others to respond.

PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptySun May 29, 2011 6:47 pm

From his perch hanging from the top of the Gate, Yamazu could see a good way into the distance. There was not a single soul on the road ahead leading out of the Village. Nothing stirred along the path, but that mattered little since they were heading to the west, which lay off the beaten trail.

They had two, maybe three days at a stretch to reach the bank and warn off the robbers. The samurai where planing to hit the building whilst the bank was busiest, to get the most money from bystanders as well as the vaults. It would take some guts and brains to pull of this type of heist, but hopefully the team he was with would have more guts and brains than the robbers did.

Deep in thought, Yamazu was startled when the voices of two girls barked up at him from below. Shocked, he lost control of his chakra flow and he ceased being stuck to the top of the Gateway. Flailing his arms like a madman trying to fly the Monkey Sage plummeted to the ground head first, a high pitched yelp escaping his throat in a long, continuous screech.

At the last second before he hit the ground he managed to right himself, a small burst of fuuton chakra flipping him the right way up. He rolled as he hit the ground, another yelp coming from him. Standing up, he hopped around in a circle for a moment, clutching his ankle and hissing a line of nonsensical curses.

Looking up to see who was responsible, he noticed a pink haired girl whom he was somewhat unfamiliar with and the familiar face of Hana Kuroda. Yamazu's face split into a big moronic grin. Although the last time they had met had been a dark moment for both of them, it was nice to see her in a situation where bad news was not hounding them.

"Hana-chan!", the Monkey Sage exclaimed happily, somewhat confused of what she had accused him of. "Peeping? But there is no-one on the road", he said, bemused. Shaking his head, he forced him mind back on track. He recalled the name Haruno Kamira, remembering that she was a medical shinobi.

"Haruno-san, nice to meet you! No doubt your skills will be useful in the next few days. And since Ayame-san will not be joining us right away, let us get on our way without delay! Not much time to waste, friends! Not much time at all!", he announced jovially, stretching out a bit before bounding into the treeline with a high pitched cackle.

"Westward we go!"

Got Money Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptyMon May 30, 2011 7:34 pm

(this was written 1 Am while i have very low muse. I was told it was okay if it got below the required posting, since we just needed to hold the topic going...)

Kamira watched as the second of her assigned teammates showed up. She was carring a sword, so she was a kenjutsu user. Useful for such a battle... Having been to busy at the hospital taking shifts with her mother, she had yet to learn about the rumors surronding the current hokage. Since she had been assigned this A ranked mission, her head had been filled by nothing but that. As the girl, who was named Hana, yelled up to the sage about Peeping on young girls, she could`t hold back. The left eyebrow rose a little, and her cheeks flushed a bit over the news. Just what kind of sage was this? Things didn`t get better, when the sage made a "graceful" landing on the ground. He then spoke to the girl using her first name, meaning they knew each other somewhat well.

"Its nice to meet you..Yamazu-san, and Hana-san". It had been awhile since she had been on a team mission, so it was a little akward for the ninjutsu and medical shinobi to talk. Since both of them used Kenjutsu, she also felt a little outside of her field. Sure her medical knownledge would come to use, but would be of more use or just get in the way?

"Hai!". Kamira forced the thoughts aside when the sage leaped into the nearby tree lines, seeming oddly cheerful. Was he happy to get outside the village, or was the thrill for the upcoming fight so strong? Kamira followed the safe a second after his feet had left the ground. She kept within 5 feet of him all the time, following the standard position of a medic. A medic is the vital part of the team...i must not fight unless needed or ordered to. As the pink mane flowed behind her with every feet, she felt the butterflies slowly leave her body.

"Yamazu-sama...if my use of honorifics bothers you and Hana-san, i can drop them..". With the lack of team missions, she had gotten a little insecure when going on mission with strangers. Not because she was anti social, in fact she ended up becoming friends with temporary team mates...this was just the first time she was on a mission with a safe.

Though his fall was comical Hana was still worried about the older man. She stepped closer to him. His ankle seemed to be allright with how he acted. She breathed a sigh of relief and smiled at him.

Hana grinned at the way he acted about the peeping. Oh, she would find a way to make the older man flustered by that, she'd make it a goal. Ever since she met him she wanted to joke around with him. He seemed the kind that would be pretty funny. She wanted to start this relationship off as something more outgoing and fun.

She looked over to the young girl next to her. She was blushing slightly. Oh this would be so fun. Hana grinned mischieviously. She would enjoy teasing them. The pink haired girl was using the polite language again. Hana sighed and turned to her with a smile. "No worries! We're the same! I speak for myself when I say go ahead and call me Hana or even Hana-chan if you want!"

She then rushed off with the two once the girl took off after the monkey sage. They ran for about an hour before taking a break near the roadside. Instead of sitting and resting like the other two Hana used this time to train.

Hana unsheathed her blade as she stood in front of a nearby tree. She grinned and then began slashing it. She could do so seven times each before tiring. The whole time she had to hold her breath to get so many strikes in with her strength and high speed. She would stop after a little while and take a break before doing so again.

This was a long process though Hana found it easier to do so with her breath held. Once she finished this training she would get started on the next. This was a strong attack. One of her more stronger battoujutsu's.

Hana's eyebrows lowered as she sheathed her sword. Now was time to work on another sword technique. She then quickly unsheathed her sword at lightening speed, slashing the wood of the tree and then hitting it after with her sheath. This would definitely work if someone backed up or dodged. Hana wouldn't be left without a defense like most battoujutsu left her. This was a good offense the would help her with her enemy.

She continued using this attack until the tree was pretty chopped up. She then began to battle invisible opponents. She finally grew tired and took a rest with the other two. She drank some water and relaxed for a good twenty minutes before they had to leave.

Once they were back on the road traveling Hana turned to the pink haired chunin. "Soooo, can I give you a nickname? I want us to be good friends," she told the other girl with a grin.

Got Money Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptyTue May 31, 2011 7:07 am

Finally, the thrill of travel! It had been too long since he had last been on a mission outside the Village that he had almost forgotten just how good it felt to be on the move. The wind against his face, the bump of the large scroll on his back as he jumped, the occasional fly that he swallowed when he laughed. He swayed as he ran in his usual way, tipping this way and that as if drunk. Every now and then Yamazu would appear to miss a tree branch and begin to fall, but he was always managed to catch himself. Spitting an insect out of his mouth, he shouted over his shoulder.

"You can speak as freely as you wish to, Haruno-san! I'm not overly bothered. Go with whatever you are comfortable with!", he said cheerfully.

An hour or so into the journey they stopped. Taking the time to get his bearings, Yamazu clambered up a tree and stopped at it's highest reaches, peering off into the distance. They were making good time so far. If they kept this pace up they would be able to reach their destination early morning tomorrow. Assuming nothing untoward happened, or they were sidetracked by something trivial. Slipping back down, the Monkey Sage grabbed a small ball of rice and munched on it whilst Hana trained by chopping up an innocent tree. After a little time past she completed her exercises and they where back to travelling again.

Yamazu went over everything in his head. When they arrived, the robbery would either already be in progress or would be soon to start. If they got there before, they might be able to set up traps. Given the time they had and the distance they would need to travel, the odds were against them on that. Odds were that the crime would be happening when they got there and they would have to interrupt it. He thought through a rough plan of what to do when they got there whilst the two kunochi behind him chatted amicably.

As a close combat specialist, he would be able to engage most of the samurai in the enclosed space of the bank without their numbers becoming too much of a problem. Should Ayame be able to join them in time they would be able to assist each other in this matter. Kamira and Hana would be best placed to escort the hostages to safety, Kamira as a medical-nin and Hana as a protector. Odds are he and Ayame would be able to hold off most of the samurai but there was always a chance that some would slip by them and neither of them would be able to pursue. Hana should be able to defend the civilians and Kamira (should she be healing anyone) in that eventuality, at least until he and Ayame had finished off their opponents.

So deep in thought was Yamazu that he did not notice that he landed on a particularly weak branch. Predictably it snapped, sending him tumbling to the forest floor with a muted 'meep'. A quick fuuton burst kept him from breaking his legs and sent him back up into the trees. Pausing for a moment, he decided that he would leave a marker for Ayame to follow should she fall too far behind. Taking out a kunai, he scratched a crude smiling monkey face onto the trunk of the tree he was in, a hand pointing in the right direction to the side of it. He would put one up every mile or so to be on the safe side.

Putting the weapon back, he realized that he had fallen far behind the two girls and he hurried to catch up. "The sun should be setting in a few hours, friends", he called once he was close enough for them to hear him. "What say we pick up the pace and really eat up the miles, eh?"

With that he doubled his original speed, stumbling through the trees with a prolonged, high pitched laugh.

PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptyWed Jun 01, 2011 4:50 am

Hana chuckled at the monkey sages antics. The way he moved, his smile, his laugh, his little carvings, everything about him was comical. The guy would win any fight if he could figure a way to make the enemy kill themselves from laughing too hard. She was sure this man could do it.

Meanwhile as they picked up the pace Hana grinned and decided to continue training on the road. She decided the best way to train would be to train during breaks and a few moves could be used whilst waiting for Yamazu to finish his carvings. So at times while he was drawing his funny monkey's, Hana would use her thumb to unsheathe her sword lightning fast at an "Opponent". Normally it was a nearby tree.

She would keep this up and then fetch her weapon afterwards. This was quite a long process since she didn't have much time to practice it at times. As they ran she would quickly move her thumb back and forth in the air to practice. It would be in front of her body away from her sword.

The only took one more break. For one of the members to use the bathroom. Hana began to practice with a shadow clone. The shadow clone would attack her whilst Hana caught the blade with her hands. Or tried at least. Luckily the blade was wrapped in cloth. That way there would be less injuries.

Hana did it over and over again. Until she could catch the blade easily from all directions it came at her. At least from above. Other ways she had a harder time. Hana finally finished with her breaking the sword. It was a good practice and then they were on their way again. Hana wondered when Ayame would catch up. Hopefully soon, she would love to have her sensei at her side in this battle.

Got Money Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptyWed Jun 01, 2011 6:42 pm

Kamira watched as the sage in front of her jumped, or rather fell, through the trees. He was known as the monkey sage, which fitted him seeing how he managed to stay in the trees, despite all his falls. Are all people of high rank this weird? Surely Hokage-sama isen`t like that..even through Okaa-san`s stories about the Uchiha makes me believe they are weird. Before she got to carried away in her thoughts, the monkey sage shouted his answer over his shoulder, while "charmingly" spitting out a bug from his mouth. Kamira kept her face straight, or at least tried to. "Hai, Yamazu-san..". It was odd how he didn`t care what she called him, yet he still refereed to her with first name. Did it mean he disliked her? He did have a friendly side, at least when he talked to the so called hana girl, yet the possibility was still there.

As they eventually stopped to take a quick rest, Kamira took the chance and sat down. She went through her medic bag one more time, mentally checking it through. She would sometimes pick up a thing to secure it wasen`t broken, none the less, it was clear that she took the job as a medic serious. Is she..training?. Kamira briefly stopped her checking to observe it. Training in the middle of a mission seemed quite to risky: you could end up tiring yourself out so you could`t travel longer, or you could be to tired to defend against a ambush attack. Its only a short break..nothing will happen... Kamira repeated it to herself 3 times, and soon the worries left. By the time she had closed the bag and put it back on, they hit the road once again.

"A nickname?". The pink haired medic blinked a little with the blue eyes, looking to the blond female next to her. The grin was warm, and her words had been said in a friendly tone. It was easy to see why the monkey sage prefered the blond girl with that kind of charm. Why am i even thinking about that... Forcing the thoughts aside, she sent a smile back to Hana. "I don`t really have any nicknames, just the names my older brother uses when he teases me..". Kamira turned her gaze forward, her face seeming to grow a shadow for a moment. "But you may call me whatever you like, Hana-chan!". The pink mane began to sway around her upper body, preventing her face to be seen. As it settled down behind her body, the shadow had gone away.

Having hoped for a change of topic, it was a "blessing", when the monkey sage suddenly fell through a weak branch. Having seen him fall off countless of times already, she focused on the road ahead. Less than a minute later she heard his voice from a few feet behind, asking them if they should pick up the pace. Kamira found herself laughing a little when he "bursted" through the green tops, laughing as if traveling was the most fun thing in the world. He may be crazy..but fun... Adding a bit more chakra to her feet, she followed him with Hana.

Got Money Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Money   Got Money EmptyThu Jun 02, 2011 6:50 am

Yamazu and his female companions had been travelling through the trees for several hours and the sun was well beyond set. They had kept going for a little bit long after dark, but the Monkey Sage was confident that thanks to the hard day's running they were very close to their destination. He estimated they needed only half a day or so of easy running before they arrived at the bank.

Despite the speed they had been going, it appeared that they would not be able to get there in time to warn the robbers off. It seemed as if they would have to interrupt it and get the hostages out. Now would be a good time to stop. They would need a decent night's rest if they would have enough energy to defeat the samurai attempting the heist.

Looking around the now darkened forest, Yamazu remembered a nice copse of trees up ahead that would serve perfectly as a campsite. Instead of landing on the next branch, he let himself drop down and catch it with his hands. Swinging around it, the Monkey Sage launched himself off it, shooting himself straight into the clearing of trees and landing on his feet gracefully. The branch snapped off after he had let go, thrown into the air by the weight of Yamazu and the scroll and the momentum of his swing, but it was of no consequence. For one he had managed to look cool! With a laugh, he brushed his sleeves of and called into the trees at the girls following him.

"HA! You see that! That's the difference between you and me, ladies. I make being a shinobi look good!", he shouted, a big happy grin on his face. The branch that he had snapped off chose that moment to come back to earth and land with a loud clunk on his head. Yamazu let out a loud yelp and clutched his head in both hands, dancing around in circles with a hop and a skip before finally stopping, rubbing his sore skull.

"Ow ow ow ow ow ow... Yep, I deserved that..." Yamazu muttered to himself, a look of comic annoyance slipping onto his face. He turned to his companions, removing the large scroll that he sported from his back and placing it gently on the ground.

"We'll set up camp here for tonight. We'll head out tomorrow at the break of dawn and interrupt this robbery at full strength, hopefully with Ayame-san at our side. Hana-chan, you get some wood and get a campfire going. Haruno-san, you have first watch. I'm going to sleep off this headache"", he announced and without another word slumped to the ground, resting his head on the scroll.

Seconds later, gentle snoring came from his general location.
