A sunray, yes she was a sunray. Or perhaps one of those stray snowflakes who got melted by a sunray. At the thought, a distant smile crossed the lips of the green haired woman who sat on the stump of a dead tree, her legs crossed and her hands folded on her lap. A single, thin sunray escaped through the thick and snowy branches of the trees who surrounded the area and it landed directly on the young woman's hands as they lay in her lap, the hands who still had blood on them. Even if it was cold outside, she didn't wear anything over her normal clothes to protect herself with, but rather seemed to enjoy feeling the cold against her skin. Her rosy lips had taken a very pale blue color to them, and each time she let out a breath, a small cloud of steam appeared in the crystal clear air in front of her. When Satsuriku had come into this part of this particular land, she had thought she would be able to enjoy herself a bit in peace and quiet. But no. After 2 days of hiking and climbing, as she had finally been able to enter this lone part of the woods, and the first thing she had done was to encounter a group of merchants.

The faint smell of blood still lingered the air, and would probably draw the attention of many hungry animals who lived in the woods. The people hadn't really payed her much attention at first, had only seen a lone figure standing in the clearing and watching them. She had been wearing a big cloak with a hood over her head, so the only thing really showing that this was probably a female watching them, had been the long strands of her green hair who had managed to brush their way here and there down from under the hood. So of course, as the merchants were a bit lonely and always welcomed company, they had asked her to come closer and warm up against the fire they had lit. After a brief moment of what seemed to them like hesitation, the figure had come closer and then stopped at the fire where she had pulled the hood down and surprised them all with her alluring face. Her big, golden eyes had looked at each of them, counting 6 men and 2 women who were keeping 3 kids close to them as if to protect them from any harm which the woods could provide. And yet, they didn't know that they had just invited the biggest danger into their circle of protection.

Satsuriku had taken a seat at the fire, and watched them silently as they talked and laughed while eating and drinking. She hadn't wanted anything for herself, but rather just shook her head and offered a small smile while she stared into the fire. She had introduced herself to them as Izumi, but had not said anything else about herself. As the merchants were a bit of a private people themselves, they hadn't really pushed for more answers and took her name as a sign of a friendly action. But after about an hour of chit chatting, then unfortunately one of the men had to mention that they were going to go visit a village in the Fire Country. And just as Izumi/Satsuriku had slowly looked over to him, another one had confirmed that and then said that they were hoping to be able to get to Konohagakure as it was praised for it's friendly environment.

"Konoha...hehe..hehehe..Ko..no...ha.." Satsuriku chuckled to herself, as she repeated the name again, and then said it slowly as if she was speaking to a mentally slow person. Surprised, the people asked her if things were alright, and the answer they got was that she was fine. In fact, she felt perfect. The tall young woman had stood up, and opened her cloak before dropping it to the ground, showing her normal [and a bit revealing] clothing, along with the big claymore strapped onto her back. And then, everything had gone black.

She sat now, still not covered with her cloak, and leaned her head against the broad blade of her claymore which had been stabbed into the ground. She never used her claymore when taking care of little business like this. It was too... well.. messy. "But why did they have to die? Of course it was because they were going to Konoha. Didn't I do them a favor? Did they really have to make such a big deal out of this?" She started rubbing her hands together, trying to get the slightly dried blood off as she kept mumbling to herself. "At least they didn't suffer. They should have just felt glad."

The fire had died out, sometime around when she had only left to kill the women and children. Of course they had been crying and begging and screaming, but that had only increased Satsuriku's headache. What ungrateful lot. She bent a little down and grabbed some snow into her hands, using it to clean them. The bodies were neatly piled up just about 3 meters behind her, and she was still debating with herself if she wanted to bury them or not. If she did, then she guessed she would be honoring them. But if she wouldn't then she would be providing the hungry animals in the forest with food. "But I think they can just dig their meal up anyways.." She smiled, a rather sweet and innocent smile, like a young girl who was thinking about her first crush.

Being random was something that was nothing out of the ordinary when it came to this young woman. But when she hadn't slept for a bit of a time, like now, then it seemed like her thoughts were starting to control her a bit and she got a black out every now and then. And she couldn't control it when she wanted to kill someone. She honestly didn't. Sometimes she could feel someone else inside of her, someone else who cried over each person she killed. But that someone was too weak to fight herself back onto the surface and take control, so she had to just accept her role of being the dormant one who grieved for the errors which were made.

"This country is actually more boring than I had thought. Everything is so boring. Why is everything boring? Even killing gets boring." What she needed was a purpose, a plan.. something she could use as a guidance. But what? Of course there was always her plan of going to Konoha.. that cursed Leaf Village. But she was realistic enough to accept the fact that she alone couldn't really do much if she would charge in there. So what could she really do? Was she doomed to wander around and kill people that didn't matter for the rest of her life? Had she honestly come this far, only to wither away as someone forgotten? Where is my cloak..? She just now started to really feel the cold, as that sunray which had been entertaining her had disappeared. But the cloak was probably laying somewhere on the ground, half way buried under snow. And she felt tired, she wanted to sleep a bit, and she wanted to get rid of her headache. And so she just sat there, a small shiver running through her every now and then.

And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] Empty
PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptySat May 14, 2011 5:54 am

It had been several days since Michio had first met Yuushu and the strange other ninja..'Leon...quite the odd fellow..' Each of the three had set off on a task each had agreed upon, whilst they did not have a true goal yet, they all shared a similar purpose. Whether it be for money, power or in Michio's case, no discernible reason at all; the three had banded together to cause chaos. And that is what they would do. 'And that is what we will do...and we will do it very well' He smirked as he launched himself from tree to tree. He was in the River Country now, having left Kusagakure after his awakening and escapade with the other two missing shinobi, Leon and Yuushu. He was now searching for those who shared similar goals as the three comrades, those who shared similar ideals and could help them further their set goal.

Snow fell across the River country, covering the forest Michio was currently traveling through. He was searching for some small town to find those for whom he searched, assuming that those who didn't want to be found would hide amongst the lesser villages. His legs moved in powerful movements as he stayed above the ground, launching himself from branch to branch within the forest as he traveled, wondering how long it would take him to find this unknown person he was searching for. 'Hopefully no longer than a week or two...I've got other things that I need to acomplish' he thought as he bounded forward, glancing down at his ring for a moment 'I do wonder wha-- The hell that is?!' his thoughts and peaceful silence were suddenly interrupted by the sounds of screams filling the forest.

A smirk grew on his face, coupled with his boundless curiosity and and complete lack of fear he altered his path, heading towards the screams. "There's only one time people make that scream....let's go see who's dying." he let out a small evil chuckle and bounded forwards, moving closer to the screams.

~

"Ya know..." Michio smirked, he spoke, handing upside down from a branch above the green haired woman. "Most people don't find killing boring." He had been watching the woman for quite a while, watching her dance of death, merely staying beyond her detection. "I mean..", a kunai appeared in his hand in a movement that would be just a blur, "..few things are more enjoyable than watching the blood leave a freshly cut throat. Few things more exciting than the rush of adrenaline and the feeling of blood run through your body as you snap a man's neck." A smirk grew on his face as he continued " I must say, I do find the blood and snow mix, rather.." he paused for a moment, "..appealing. It does seems to create a wondrous contrast, the color of the crimson is quite a nice variation to the constant white of the snow. Good job, it mixes quite well." He spoke absent mildly , praising her and rambling on as he hung from the branch, his grey hair falling towards the ground, his clothes only hanging slightly. "And if one is not the assassin, then most people at least get some thrill from fighting for their lives" A grin appeared on his upside down face as he looked down at the emerald haired woman. "Then again, most people don't slaughter a group of merchants for tiny reasons, but clearly.."he snapped his hand outward sending the Kunai into a small bird perched on a tree behind the woman. "-You- are not most people." The kunai he had thrown was aimed to just barely come in contact with her head, but he threw it expertly to glide right past her, the only harm to her being the that Kunai sliced through only one strand of her green hair. He cursed under his breath as he saw the damage, "Damn, my aim is still off..."

In a movement that would be hard for most eyes to follow, Michio suddenly was crouched atop the branch. "Furthermore, how could this country possibly be boring?", another Kunai was in his hand, twirling around his finger at a rapid speed as he spoke, "There are people aren't there? People. The Lifeblood of any country. And how could those people ever be boring?" his on green eyes gazed at her, but he wasn't talking directly to her, but it would be clear to her that he liked to hear himself speak. "People are infinitely interesting. Each person having their own wants and their own needs. Each person has their own fantasies and desires cooking up within their heads as a product of their own life and experiences, strange as they may seem." Michio dropped down from the branch to stand directly in front of her, "Which leads me to wonder, why would a woman...", he waved his hand outward towards her to accentuate his point; "..such as yourself, possibly desire the death of these many -many- people?" As he wrapped up his sentence, he waved his hands towards outward the bloodstains on the ground.

"Wrap up the theatrics Michio..." came a voice that only he could hear. Letting out a small sigh Michio spoke "Okay okay..fine..you are so bossy and no fun at -all-", to the green haired woman, it would seem as if he was talking to himself as he tilted his head, speaking in the direction of his shoulder. Michio realized that it might be a bad idea to seem crazy right off the bat as he spoke to his 'shoulder devil', but he figured that a woman who had just committed mass murder didn't have any room to judge.

He turned his attention backed to the seated woman, "I suppose it is rude of me to ramble on without properly introducing myself.. ", he flashed her a wide, slightly insane looking smile, "Some call me Mr. Mokuyōbi" He chuckled to himself at the name he had taken during his first meeting Yuusha and Leon "others seem particularly fond of calling me Michio" he bowed low to the woman, brown trench coat flowing outward as his hand swept down his black suit in this gesture of respect. "You, Miss, may call me whatever you like..." he returned to his normal position and flashed her a confident smile, full of charm. "Very good..." came the whisper in his head.

He gazed over her form, his eyes tracing up her body. She wore what could only be described as a very seductive style of dress. 'A bit unfitting for this weather isn't it?' Whispered a different voice within his head. "Yeah...I would think so", he answer quietly under his breath. Her dress was cut to reveal much of her shapely legs, while covering all the important bits, while simultaneously enhancing her cleavage and in a very alluring way, revealing her navel. A small smirk could be noted on Michio's face. He very much liked what he saw. "Time to see if we can gain her approval..." he thought before opening his mouth to speak, in a polite and charming manner. He had forgotten of the temperature in this particular country until he saw a small shiver pass through her and he figured it would b best to use the weather to any advantage. "Oh and there's another rudeness on my part! I should be stripped naked and dipped in a pool of boiling water! My mother would be ashamed." in one swift movement he spun and removed his trench coat and handed it to her in his outstretched hand. "Here Miss, given the weather you should probably wear this, it will keep you warmer" he flashed another small charming smile. Despite his attitude during this entire exchange, he kept himself ready for any attack or offensive maneuver from the woman as well as anyone sneaking through the forest.

'Let the plan move forward...'

And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] Empty
PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptySat May 14, 2011 10:46 am

Satsuriku was deep in thought. In fact, she was so hopelessly deep in her messy thoughts that she had failed to notice that she was not as alone in the woods as she had thought at first. A deep voice started talking to her, and just for a second she really wondered if that voice was inside her own head. "But the fox ran...and the deer ran..." Her voice was a soft whisper under her breath, she had noticed a few animals starting to slowly approach with a scary expression, but just before the voice had been heard they had run away. The voice asked her how it was possible to find killing boring. The voice made a few good points, she had to admit that. But what fun was killing when she hardly remembered doing it? And what fun was killing when the prey didn't really put up a fight? Like most true hunters, she had no fun of playing with things that just gave up right away and bared their necks to her so that she could easier spill their blood.

She looked down into her hands, the snow there which was mixed with blood. A good job? Yeah oki, she supposed so. The colors were pretty, and she had been up until now a 'good girl'. For at least a few days, so why not allow that voice to praise her, lure her with it's sweet words. She was going to see what else it had to say, and then she would decide if she was going to kill it or not. All in good time. She had the whole life ahead. True..true.. she was not most people. She was just herself. A rather interesting speciment if she had to say herself. Satsuriku felt curious to turn her head and see 'the voice', but for now let him ramble on. Until of course, she heard a whipping sound through the air and a small strand of her luxurious green hair shifted a bit. Oh... when could voices throw kunai? Bummer.. she had really hoped that 'the voice' had been a ghost or something. Something exciting. Not a human. Now she had even more the chance and reasons to kill 'it'. Her calm gaze slid towards the ground where she observed just a couple of long hairs which had gotten cut off during the kunai throwing. How rude.

A small, very hard to notice, sound appeared from where 'the voice' was, making her realize 'it' had changed positions slightly. Perhaps the owner was getting ready to face her? Hey now, is he going to talk all day? 'The voice' had many questions and yet Satsuriku/Izumi didn't really get the chance to answer, nor feel like it yet, for she felt like he enjoyed his own sound too much. Perhaps he would feel bad if her own voice would interrupt his. But why all this talking? Her gaze was still upon the ground, when a thud was heard and a pair of feet were now in front of her. Slowly, her eyes moved upwards while looking him over until they stopped at his face. Her famously cat-like eyes which made everyone sure they even glowed at night, so strong was their radiant amber color. And so strong and piercing was their gaze. She had not moved an inch, and still hadn't said anything. She just sat there, seemingly completely relaxed.

He's tall. She knew that she herself was considered tall for a woman, as she reached roughly 5'10, but that man would probably top her and with a few good inches to spare. She liked his face, especially the eyes. Green is pretty. It would be a shame if she had to tear them out from his skull.. yes.. real shame. "Their death..." She stopped, the low voice coming to a halt while she pondered a bit to herself. "Their death, was calling to me. I could see his black wings. He was hovering over their heads, and he asked me if I could help him a bit as he wished for more black roses in his backyard." She didn't smile, just looked him calmly in the eyes while speaking. As if it was so normal to see and speak to the Death. Naturally, she couldn't clearly remember if that was the case or if she had simply hallucinated due to lack of sleep.

Why is he talking to himself now? What's there on his shoulder? A smaller version of him with a tail and horns? She stretched her long legs a bit, burying the toes of her shoes under snow while listening to the man as he kept talking. Mr. Mokuyōbi... oh hi there I'm Alice and I just recently came from a short visit from Wonderland. She tilted her head to the side, a distant smile crossing her lips, while she listened to him come with a name. A name she found more accepting. "Michio...Mi-chi-o." Her full lips moved slowly while she mouthed out his name, pronouncing it in different ways while trying to decide if she liked it or not. Was his speech coming to an end? A coat was suddenly handed towards her, after he had seemingly felt a bit sorry for not offering it to her earlier. What does he want? She had seen it, heard it, right away that this was not a stupid man. Even if he talked a lot [andseemedtotalktohimselfalso] then she could notice a few things about him, which showed that he was a bit of a player. So why pay her attention? Had he felt curious about her only after seeing her kill a few weak people? She knew he had not seen her true colors, she didn't use her Kaguya ability unless when she knew herself what she was doing.

"You talk a lot."
She smiled at him, a smile which rivaled his own charming smile. Her cat-like eyes had a small glint to them as she stood up in one swift and elegant move. "Oh.. I was right. You are taller than me." Somehow it seemed like that fact entertained her a bit while she looked him over with eyes filled of interest and curiosity. Like his height alone had given him some new charm, and allowed him to stay unharmed. She stepped closer to him, and unexpectedly raised her left hand up before she placed it against his cheek. It was impossible to read from her amber eyes what she had planned as she leaned just a bit closer while tracing her fingers up his cheek and his jawbone, and then into his hair. Her heavy eyelashes lowered a bit while she looked him in the eyes, before her hand stopped and with a movement that was impressively swift, she had grabbed just a few hairs and ripped them out from his head before dropping them to the ground. "You owed me that."

She pulled back, and looked at the coat which was still being offered. It was a sign of weakness to accept, and yet she took it and wrapped it over her shoulders. It smelled... like him. A nice scent. And it had the warmth of that man's body. Satsuriku took a step away from him. "Do you wish for me to answer all your questions? I can tell you why I'm starting to find killing boring. I can also tell you the real reason why I killed these people. But I'm not sure if I should." Her beautiful face seemed, for a small split of a second, have a shadow run over it. "You see, Michio, I find it rather ... boring when there isn't even a chance to play a bit around when fightning. All those screams give me a headache. Their pathetic looks and begging gives me a headache. I just want them to stop being pathetic for a few seconds, and realize that I'm just giving them a quick way out. Perhaps..." She smiled, a bit of a deranged smile which wasn't too different from Michio's own crazy smile from earlier. "Perhaps -I- am the Reaper." For a moment she turned her head and looked at him, her face grave as the seriousness of her words lingered in the air. And then, she burst out laughing. The laughter was as light as her voice, and then it stopped just as suddenly as it had begun while she wiped a single tear from her eye.

"Oh now that would be messed up wouldn't it? But no, in honesty then I just wish I could get a bit more of a challenge every now and then. And yet, I just can't resist those little bastards when they so stupidly get in my way. I have no.. true reason to kill -them-." A dreamy look crossed her features, and she glanced at the man which was close to her. "And my reason for finding this country boring, is because this is not the country I wish to see burn." A small shrug of her delicate, and yet strong, shoulders followed the words. But a fire inside her eyes was lit. "Now, how about you tell me why exactly you wish to lure me with your words and actions? What do you want from me?" A small hope was prodding at her mind, was the coming of this man a sign of something more fun to happen? Was he going to give her this purpose in life she needed? "Oh, and you can call me Satsuriku."

And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] Empty
PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptySat May 14, 2011 7:04 pm

Michio gave her a look over as she stood up, she moved in a similar way he did, a graceful dance, strong, yet elegant. His eyes couldn't help but follow her with a glint of satisfaction. "I do indeed tend to talk a lot....I apologize, I tend to get caught up in my own words." He watched her as she seemed to examine him, commenting on his height. "Well yes, it would seem I am.." he was slightly puzzled by this turn in the conversation [If you could even call it a conversation considering he had done most of the talking.] A slight curious look could be seen on his face as he watched her step closer. She was very close to his face now, reaching up and placing her soft hand on his slightly stubbled cheek. 'I know I'm good...but am I this good' He didn't like that he couldn't read her eyes, she was a puzzle, but all actions seemed to point to intimate physical contact in the future. 'You're gonna score!' came a voice in his head that he had to block out to stay in the moment. She was very close now, her hand tracing lightly up into his hair and her eyes closing slightly as she leaned even closer. Michio leaned forward slightly to meet her, before pulling back rapidly on instinct as he felt pain in his head. "Fuck!" he rubbed his head and eyed the small grayish white hairs she was now dropping to the snow. "That hurt" he laughed a bit, "But alright, payback was fair." The pain was fading now, it was more the shock and sudden yanking of hair that had got him, but he was glad he was able to control the sudden instinct to counter attack when he felt pain...it could've became quite the messy situation.

He was still chuckling as she took a step back and took his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Bitch please, you are not that smooth, you totally got played" came the same voice that was encouraging him from earlier and he grumbled quietly at it under his breath. "Shut up you!" he couldn't help but laugh a bit more at how easy he got played as he chuckled one last time before giving her his full attention. He listened to her words intently, for as much of a talker he was, he knew there was also great value in listening and thus, he kept his mouth closed and merely listened as she spoke. ''Their death was calling'? 'I am the Reaper?' She's certainly crazy... ' Michio smiled a small unnoticeable smile, they seemed to be quite similar. He kept a mental note of everything she said, every word could be a perfect resource to exploit later. He payed close attention to every word, especially when she mentioned wanting to see a village burn, he had a feeling it linked to her past and the more he knew about her, the more he could use to his advantage. He was perhaps to manipulative for his own good, yet he had to be. With his current memory problem, he had nothing of his own to allow most to empathize with, thus he had to take charm and what he could gleam about others from their own words and use it against that information against them. 'Games games games...I do love them' came a voice in his head which caused him to chuckle in his own mind as he wondered if he was so luck to have this woman would be the person he had been searching for.

"Satsuriki....Sat-sur-ik-i" he smiled playfully, mimicking the way she had played with his name as she first said it, he merely did it loud enough for her to hear. 'I like her' he smirked slightly, she was clever enough to pick up on his game, then again, he wasn't really being secretive about it. "Move it along, you've got her interested." came the first voice in his head. "Always rushing, nag nag nag nag, I never get to have any fun with you around, all work and no play makes Michio a dull boy", he muttered under his breath again, answering the voice within his mind. He chuckled to himself before turning his attention back to her, his own green eyes tracing down her now standing form with a small impish smile before he looked into her eyes. "Satsuriki.." his impish grin grew wider, "What a fitting name for you.." he waved his hand outward, implicating the crimson on the snow to explain his point. "Well, Satsuriki it's a pleasure to meet you" he said politely, not quite ready to get to his true purpose yet.

He chuckled softly, is mind playing over her previous words, "Lure you? Who said I wanted to lure you? I a polite nature and charm so misplaced in common society that one who uses them, must be accused of luring a beautiful woman such as yourself?" He spoke in a slight teasing way, an almost wolfish smirk on his face, "I mean, do I look like some homicidal maniac who just happens to target women out in the woods?" the Kunai suddenly stopped spinning and he held it lightly in his hand, as if almost ready to use it. "Must my words be some sort of bait used to put you off guard and to gain a minor amount of your trust? Is that how far my charm and a polite nature has gotten me in this world?" He continuing on, his face suddenly changed, going from light and sarcastic to dark and much -much- more sinister. "Then again...perhaps you are right and I am merely using these as tools to lure you into my clutches...You did already take my token.."he waved the Kunai to point at his coat as he continued, "You already took my coat, perhaps that is merely the first set of my trap, perhaps it was the bait leading you to your demise." His eyed flared with a twisted glimmer as he finished the sentence, "Perhaps I went so far to fill the coat with explosive tags and you're holding on to the very thing that will lead to your death." He smirked his best evil smirk before his attitude suddenly changed again, returning to it's previous nature accompanied by a playful smile. "It's not, but Im just saying 'What if?'" he laughed slightly and moved on.

"Nevertheless, I reassert my original point. Why would you say I am making the attempt to lure you? What would I lure you into? I mean..." he laughed a bit, "I am indeed trying to lure you, to a certain extent, but I had hoped it would be more effective." He was no longer dancing around the subject, but that hardly meant he wouldn't be playing games. Why on Earth wouldn't he play games? Michio let out a soft chuckle, "It is true I was...or rather..am attempting to lure you into my 'clutches', but why you asked? " He took one step closer to where the woman stood before bursting out in a small bit of laughter "Well, see... I merely wanted to lure you, so that you would speak and tell me what you weren't sure if you "should" tell me." He smiled. 'Games, games, what fun they are..' "You weren't sure if you should've told me, but you you told me anyway. Meaning my attempt to lure you already complete it's purpose and after hearing these many things.." he ran his fingers over his hair, lightly rubbing the spot where she had ripped out his hair 'Bitch, that kind of hurt. "I have this feeling that you and I aren't so different Miss 'Reaper'." he changed his tone on the last word, leaving a slightly teasing implication onto it before continuing on.

"You see, you and I, we both are certainly crazy, one certainly more insane than the other, but I wont say which. " The impish smile etched it's way back to his lips as he spoke. "You're bored, yes? Bored with just killing? Bored with this country? You need to fight where you can play with your prey and not have merely a mindless slaughter? " He nodded slightly, "Congratulations! If you answered yes to any of these questions, your in a similar situation to me!" He smirked, his personally becoming a bit more eccentric, acting rather like a game-show host. "And as a bonus question, if you have a love for all things chaotic, you could win the prize!"

He heard a low hiss of the first voice from within his head and shook his head a bit, returning to his previous demeanor. "But back on track...I recall you asking what I wanted from you? Yes? Well..." He smirked a flirty, teasing and sadistic smirk as his eyes grazed up and down her form, "I have a feeling you and I could have a very long and pleasant future together..." he chuckled softly to himself, remembering using a similar line on Yuushu, yet before it had not had all -these- implications. He stroked his fingers through his hair slightly as he began to speak again, "Before I go on, you must answer one question for me. But first, I will say a bit more about myself, for the sake of fairness and because I obviously love to hear the sound of my own voice." He flashed a grin of his pearly whites before laughing and leaning up against the tree behind him.

"I am a man, that much is obvious.." he smirked, "But if you doubt it I'll be certain to show you the proof", his smirk grew into a grin and he waved his hand downward towards his crotch area, "Indeed, I am a man who delights in the chase, the games, the slaughter and the chaos of life." He ticked the kunai back and forth in rhythm in his hand like a metronome as he spoke. "And for reasons, unknown to even me, I seem to be here merely to cause chaos for the world. Perhaps Im a tool of Kami himself and his own will, merely here to make trouble." He laughed to himself a bit."Talk about delusions of grandeur huh?", a small chuckle escaped his lips, "But back to the point, and for my specific purpose at this time, I need someone with me. Someone skilled. And someone without those pesky things called morals, that way we can do what needs to be done." He yawned lazily, "Truth be told I was merely traveling, searching for such a person when I was attracted to the screams of terror. Then, once I got here I couldn't help but be fascinated by your dance of death Miss Reaper."

'Why do you talk so much!? Would it be easier just to kill her or find a use for her?! These games aren't needed!' came the fierce voice within his head. "I put up with you in my head, you can tolerate my playtime dammit!" he mumbled fiercely and yet quietly to himself. He resumed proper posture and gazed back at Satsuriki, returning his attention to her. "Well I do believe that is enough of my back story. Now tell me Miss. Which country do you wish to see burn and for what reasons?" Despite his annoyance at the voices within his mind, they did have a point, he couldn't stand around chattering all day, he had to move along the conversation eventually. 'I wonder if she can suit my purpose' he thought, 'She could certainly suit other 'purposes'', came a different voice in his mind as he gazed carefully at her and her body and he couldn't help but smirk slightly. He couldn't lie to himself, he did find her quite attractive...'After all, think of how much fun a woman is if she might kill you during any moment. It's always fun to be kept on your toes' he chuckled to himself, Michio definitely needed someone like that.

And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] Empty
PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptySat May 14, 2011 9:55 pm

The man seemed fairly amused over having some of his hair pulled out. Which kinda made Satsuriku wonder in return what had happened if she had pulled a fistful of hair as she wanted to in the first place. Maybe he would have screamed like a little girl, or maybe he would have charged at her. Oh.. that would have been fun. She wanted to see those green eyes of his glint with bloodlust. The thought alone made her bite her lower lip lightly while she stole a quick glance over his strong body again, and she had to admit to herself that this man was probably the first one she -wanted-. And that meaning not -wanting- as in wanting to kill. Oh no, there were other things that crossed her mind very quickly. And it hadn't escaped her attention that he was also enjoying the view. But onto other things first. Satsuriku didn't trust him, in fact she could feel her skin crawl a bit as she always did when close to someone. Especially when she wasn't fighting whomever she was near. It was too complicated to bond with people through words, Satsuriku never trusted words. She chose to follow actions and watch how people reacted. That way she could see what was on their mind, and therefore be able to see just for a second into their hearts. See, it was in very different ways that people would react to attacks. There were those who just charged back, there were those who tried to protect those around, there were those who chose to flee.. and so it went on and on. And up until now, Satsuriku had done well in just watching people like that and be able to determine their nature.

Her pretty head got tilted a bit to the side as he played with her name like she had with his. It was fun, right? She at least thought so. Mouthing out things, finding the most fun way to say them. Probably sometimes pronouncing words in a wrong way, but who really cared? Oh fitting it is. I have always been proud of my name. How she had come up with that name.. well she couldn't really remember anymore. She had only been 15 at the time, and her head had been ... a bit loose so to speak. The young girl had been so damaged in mind that anyone who even looked her way had died. Yes.. she had many many skeletons buried in her past, and no doubt would they be weighing her down in Hell when that time would come. And truth be told, she kinda looked forward to it. Satsuriku.. that name had appeared to her.. written in blood and highlighted in flames. It had spoken to her, whispered sweet and alluring words while holding her gently against it. It was her other personality. The one who took control and saved her from everything.

A single eyebrow was raised as she listened to his rant about him being just an innocent charmer. Yeah right. She might be crazy and all, but she was not blind nor stupid. "Yeah.. you know you kinda do look like one of those guys that attacks females in the woods." She was half-joking of course, as he looked a bit more .. elegant than that. It would be interesting though if he would try to attack her. Either she would just .. let it happen as she found him -very- interesting. Or she would fight back. With all that she got. Her eyes glanced down at the kunai he held, before she dragged the gaze back up and met his eyes. A small and impish smile stretched over her lips, just like she was saying 'just try it'. He kept talking, and her eyes grew a bit wider while she listened. Just as he would probably think she would start having a bit of an alarmed look on her face, Satsuriku let out a hearty laugh. She in fact, laughed until small tears rolled slowly down her smooth cheeks who were getting a bit of a pink color to them. "Oh well if you have done that, then by all means let us try it out. Although even if I must say I doubt your words, then I also have to say that there would have to be much more than explosive tags inside of this coat of yours to kill me.. Michio." She purred out his name, as the laugh had been pushed back so she could mutter out the words while drying her cheeks.

"What do you know if I have you perhaps exactly where I want to? I mean, I already got your DNA in my hand, I have you standing here in front of me and you are surrounded by trees. Who knows what kind of a Jutsu I possess in which I could use just this to turn your fate upside down."
At her words, she magically held just a few hairs of his head in her hand, which she apparently hadn't let fallen down to the ground earlier. Her eyes glinted, and they truly looked like the eyes of a greedy cat who was stalking it's prey. "The ninja world is after all a dangerous place, and you never know what monsters are on the loose. Am I right, or am I right?" She smiled at him, before opening her palm and blowing the hairs away. "But then again, that's not really my style. Perhaps I just feel like being lured a bit by a handsome stranger who says his name is Michio."

She listened intently to his words, and had to admit he had a point. Up until now she had been playing a bit against his rules, but not entirely without knowing so herself. She felt.. entertained when talking to him. Entertained and curious. And that alone spoke -very- highly of this man who was standing so proud and confident in front of her. It were years since she had felt this way while speaking to another human-being. So he wanted to know about her, get to know what was going inside of her mind and see if she would fit some picture he had made of her? Or did he perhaps need some job done? Satsuriku was usually quick to think and come to conclusions, but she honestly couldn't quite figure this man out. One minute it seemed like he was about to eat her up with his gaze, the next he was literally talking about ways he could kill her, and then it seemed like he wanted her in some sort of a plot that was already inside of his head. Was there any wonder she felt a bit entertained and curious? Oh ... miss Reaper.. I like the sound of that. How sweet of him.

Crazy? Me? ...Oki I wont try to argue against that.
She had already seen him argue with someone on his shoulder, and a few times heard him mutter to himself something, so she didn't really doubt that he had a little loose screw. But who was more insane? Satsuriku wasn't sure if she should just raise her hand and claim that title. But well, she had only known him for around 5 minutes. Maybe in his spare time he ran around in women's clothing while blowing a whistle. Heck, she didn't know! "Alright, I'll bite. Let's say you are also crazy and all that. Now how do I get more chaos and entertainment?" He seemed to have something in mind that would help her out, but most probably nothing which wouldn't cost something. And there it came, he was talking about a future.. together. Is he gonna propose? Because if he's gonna then he better give me a bigass diamond ring. A small chuckle escaped her, but she didn't say anything and kept listening. Which seemed to be the only thing she really did. Damn that man could talk.

Automatically, she got a bit alerted as he said she needed to answer a question. It was very limied what she wanted to share about herself. And how did she know he would be telling the truth? Well, one way to find out was to just listen... then she could make up her mind. If she thought he was lying then she would attack. If not, she guessed she could at least consider answering a stupid question for him. At the gesture towards his crotch, Satsuriku's eyes automatically followed his hand before she quickly looked away. That ... area.. was not something she was familiar with, and she felt a bit stupid for actually looking there. But yes... as he said, he was a man. She had no doubt. And it was almost obvious that she had had to bite back a protest for him to show proof.

"More of a tool for the Devil himself, ne?" She smiled, feeling a bit .. happy? Was he really what he was saying? Well she was without morals alright, but what exactly did he have planned? Why did he need someone with him? Was there a war which was coming over them all? "Well, I am glad I could make some impression. But you are not just looking for someone who's without moral, right? Or does anyone that can kill automatically pass? Because I'm sure there are many many more around the area who have the talent of being able to kill." Her arms got crossed in front of her. Her straight and pearly white teeth bit lightly onto her lower lip as she was seemingly in thought over what he had said. Did he really deserve to know anything about her? But it wasn't really like her purpose, her goal, for this life was something she wanted to hide particularly well like a secret. But what... what if he was from Konoha? What if he was someone who was hunting her down? Her expression darkened and she seemed to draw a bit back inside of her shell again.

Truly, to trust anyone was a bit of a hassle for the young woman. And it wasn't really without a reason. It wasn't every day you got strapped down for 6 months by the person you trusted the most, and then you got tortured each and every day inside the darkness. No one could hear the screams. No one saw the innocent blood flowing. Her skin got even paler than before and she tasted the bitter taste of vomit which was threatning to come up her throat, as she had dared enter a territory in her mind which was forbidden. Locked up. For a few seconds everything shook a bit, and she closed her eyes while trying to gather her focus. As her captivating eyes were opened again, they had the look of a hurt animal to them, and her voice was bitter.. so bitter as she spoke the words.

"The land of Fire.. hehe.. weird to put fire to fire right? But mainly.. I want Konohagakure to disappear. I want them all to experience true terror, fear and pain before I will kill them. All of them." If he was a bounty hunter for Konoha, or even a Konoha ninja himself, then she guessed it would only be best to be honest and then see what happened. Satsuriku had never enjoyed circling matters. "The reasons.. I keep for myself for now." She steadied herself, and again gained control. Instead of looking like she could drop down any minute, she now again looked like her proud and deviant self. "Now, tell me more about your purpose, your plans. And why you think I should really believe your words. Whom else than me have you already met and offered the same?" She smiled at him, a dangerous smile, while she waited to see if her suspicion was correct. If he was trying to make a little 'group'. Because she really didn't think someone like him would be planning anything big with only 2 persons involved, no he seemed like the sort of a person that had bigger things on his mind. Something -truly- fun.

Satsuriku hadn't up until now really thought of herself as someone who would easily follow command, but ... and she felt surprised at this revelation, she thought she could follow his words. Careful now.. don't get too sucked in. Naturally, she would do her best to find out if he was telling the truth or not. Using -all- means necessary. Her body was not something she minded too much about, and that whole thought behing sex couldn't be too complicated right? Just get naked and get going? I should really find a porn magazine and read it for some tips or something.. She had a feeling that if she tried to be seductive, then it would either fail horribly, or end with a death on either end.

PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptyMon May 23, 2011 1:54 am

"Tool of the Devil?" he couldnt help but laugh out loudly, his laughter echoing through the forest. "Oh I like you" he grinned widely at her still chuckling as he wore the huge grin, showing no remorse over having unintentionally interrupted her. He let her finish before speaking again. His eyes ran down her form before coming back up, it was clear this entire time that had been checking her out. He found no reason to hide it at this point. "You are correct Miss, on three points." he was still grinning slightly he held up three of his fingers on his left hand and marking them off as he spoke. "One. You did make an impression. Two and Three. I am indeed not -only- looking for someone who can kill, nor am I looking -only- for someone with a specific lack of morals." His grin could only be defined as wolfish and his eyes carried a playful glint. "It does indeed take a unique combination of these, skill and" he smirked and looked her directly in the eye as he finished, "a few other important qualities to make me want to choose someone for my -partner-" he put extra emphasis on the last word to clearly get his point across.

'That seems risky.' came the first voice. Michio couldnt help but agree with it. Despite what he had seen fro the rings and the information he had been able to gleem about her from the bingo books he had taken from the corpse of the hunter ninja within Kusagakure, he couldn't completely trust either sources. The rings, despite their power and Leon's description of them, were still a relic from another time and even with their little 'visual aid' Michio wasn't entirely sure what to make of them. 'And then of course the bingo books...' he wouldn't put it past the villages to falsify bingo books for various political reasons. 'Never can trust a politician' If any of this information was wrong, he would be taking a very high risk. Truth be told, Michio didn't trust anyone, he saw people as pawns in a greater game to his amusement. Yet, in this one case he would have to put a minimum amount of trust in someone. After all, she would be his partner. For all intents and purposes she would be with him night and day, sleeping , eating, traveling and fighting together. 'Im even giving her a ring if everything goes according to plan' he couldn't help but chuckle to himself, 'This partnership thing is the real deal here.', he had to hold back laughter to listen to her speak.

'Very forward isnt she' he couldnt help but chuckle as she spoke of her plans for the fire country. However if he had been one of the fire country, a bounty hunter or of some such other occupation where it would benefit him to harm her, her words may not have been the wisest ones. "Setting fire to the fire country...Ironic perhaps" he laughed quietly, speaking mostly to himself before he went on listening to her words. . "The reasons.. I keep for myself for now." Michio's head tilted to the side as he heard these words. 'Curious. Very Curious.' His own green eyes stared at her with a piercing look. She seemed weaker than before as she spoke of this, as if these words brought up memories she would rather forget. 'I do wonder what these reasons could be... ' came a voice in his ear, a whisper only he could hear. "Indeed, as do I.." he answered quietly to his voices. Before turning his attention back to her words, a small amused look growing on his face as he listened to her speak. 'I believe she might just do nicely for our purpose. ' came the opinion of the first voice. "We shall see ~ " came another voice. Michio ignored their noises within his mind, for once not talking to himself, waiting for his turn to speak before opening his mouth again.

"Tell you more?" he smirked slightly as he spoke, she was forward, he had to give her that. "You propose that I give you more information without anything in return? And why would I do that? Furthermore, you insinuate that I have made this offer to others? Am I nothing more than a cheap whore, doomed to repeat the same offer to anyone with enough currency to gain my favor? " if one were to read his words from the page of history it would seem as if he was perhaps offended, but his tone as he spoke was entirely sarcastic, even humorous. He flashed her a small smile, he had noticed her body language and tone from earlier and after speaking of the land of Fire and all that she wished of it, he was different than before. To others perhaps the change from, weak and scared to proud and defiant might not have been noticed, but Michio saw all. 'One can only wonder...' he was curious about what made her feel this way to the strongest standing Shinobi village. "A village doesnt get to be strong without having more than a few skeletons in it's closet." Michio muttered quietly an agree response, "True true."

Michio fell silent for a few seconds as he recalled things she had said previously and one thing jumped out specifically. "For the record, Miss..it isnt wise to try and bluff.." a sadistic grin grew on his face as he spoke, "Who knows what kind of jutsu you possess?" His eyes held a competitive glint within the green orbs as the words left his mouth. "I know more about you than you realize.", he was confident, but not stupidly so. He rarely went into a meeting without any prior knowledge and this was no exception. Reaching into his black jacket, he pulled out a small black book, leather bound and slightly charred on its edges from his killing method. Yet the flames had not done anything more than superficial damage to the very valuable contents. He smirked his best impish looking smirk as his green eyes stared into her amber orbs with a glint of satisfaction, his own lips mouthing the words 'Kaguya' in a soft whisper, his eyes not leaving hers. 'Thank you Konoha hunter-nin' His smirk grew a bit wider, there was nothing he loved more than having to a chance to catch a figurative 'dance partner' off guard. After all, conversation, battle, politics. All of it was a dance, some more deadlier than others, yet each capable of killing it's participants if they were to make the wrong step. Michio enjoyed remaining unpredictable, he never went into any situation having revealed every bit of information he had, even among the little he knew about himself, he knew that much. It was a pleasant feeling to know that you had information about someone when they knew nothing of you. He once again had to thank Kami for his intervention, delivering both the rings and the hunter-nin to Michio as soon as he had awaken as it had certainly quickened the pace of his plans.

"What was it you said?", he broke the stare, turning his head away slightly, his smirk still very apparent as his eyes gazed through the branches of the trees. "Oh yeah..."The ninja world is after all a dangerous place, and you never know what monsters are on the loose."" he returned his gaze to her with a confident look, ". Am I right, or am I right." Her own words trickled off his silver tongue with few alterations as he stared at her. "What do you know if I have you perhaps exactly where I want to?" he smiled, " I mean, you already have my DNA in your hand" Michio leaned back against the tree behind him as he spoke,"And I have you standing here in front of me and you are surrounded by trees., he tossed the leather bound bingo book up in the air, catching it in a nimble movement as it arced and fell back to the earth with a smirk upon his face. " Who knows what kind of a Jutsu I possess in which I could use just this to turn your fate upside down." He continued to playfully, toss the book into the air as he spoke, to her it would most likely seem as if he almost off guard, but that was far from the truth. Even while presenting this charade, he was cold and calculating, knowing if she chose to attack him it would only take him a fraction of a second to react and he knew a fraction of second would be all he needed. "For all you know of me, those few strands of DNA could be all I need to defeat you.", he smiled widely, "Let alone in combination with my coat. How would you know what my abilities are?" He let the smirk fade from his face, exchanging with a playful look. "Or you could all be within my illusion and had been defeated as soon as you cast your eyes upon me.

"But I digress, I mean not to threaten." He ignored the chuckle of the voice in his head as it spoke, 'Well that's a first.' He knew of his ability and he knew the general scope of hers, so he was safe as he continued speaking, using his silver toungued nature to his advantage as he did. He softened his face slightly, hoping to seem less threatening. "I may not reveal everything I know, nor all my plans. But can you blame me? We all wear our masks. But I am nothing but honest when I say.." he smiled a small smile, "I mean you no harm whatsoever." He tossed the book in the air one last time before catching it and returning it neatly into his jacket pocket and patting it slightly, he was certain to keep that safe. "And I will go so far as to say. As long as you are within my presence...." he paused slightly, searching for the right words. "As long as you are within my presence..I will let no harm befall you. Be it from my own self, or from other sources. Additionally I will protect you to the best of my abilities from any such harm, until you have heard and thought upon my deal." He paused, waiting for a second, "That is presuming you keep the peaceful terms of this arrangement. Because if I need to I -will not- hesitate to defend myself. " He thought it would be best to add that clause within the arrangement, after all she seemed the tricky type who might attack him only to cite the arrangement when he attempted to defend himself. 'Promising protection? That's a new one.' came the opinion of the first voice in his head. He ignore the voice in his mind. As with everything, he didnt promise her protection for no reason, it was a double move, designed to put her at ease and hopefully gain a small amount of her trust. For if she could believe that he would protect her, he hoped she would listen to his proposal without much fuss.

Michio paused for a moment, most likely one of the few times where they were both silent during this entire exchange. He silently pondered what to say next , slowly becoming aware of the cold nature of the area. 'Perhaps...' he thought before opening his mouth to speak. "Alright, another deal." his fingers stroked through his hair absent mindedly as he spoke, "Given the cold nature of the current weather.." he waved his hand outward, accentuating the falling snow. "I do believe it would be best to continue this discussion elsewhere. Some place warmer perhaps?" His face began to form a smooth smile. "I doubt it would do either of us any good to stand here in the cold. Some warmth, food and maybe even some drinks would make this meeting all the more pleasant, dont you agree Satsuriku?"

As with nearly everything he did, the change in setting had multiple purposes towards this meeting assuming Satsuriku accepted proposal. For one, he did indeed feel it would be best to get out of the current weather. Additionally, he had hoped that the change in setting would put his fellow missing nin either at ease or in unfamiliar territory, both most likely making her more likely to accept his proposal. And finally, just for the sake of possibility, he thought it would be best to get away from the scene of her carnage, just in case someone came looking, but he hoped the snowfall would keep the evidence covered long enough for the woman and himself to get far away from the area. "I know of a town, just a short distance to the north and Im sure we could find someplace there to continue this little meeting." he flashed her a charming smile, "Does that meet your approval Miss Reaper?" After speaking, he waved his hand to the left of him, offering her to take the lead towards the town.

PostSubject: Re: And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio]   And so, the plot thickens. Let the lunatics meet. [Satsuriku, Michio] EmptyTue May 24, 2011 12:18 am

It was most certainly something new that someone said they liked her. Usually it was something of the lines of; 'You are a monster.' .. 'I hate you.'.. and then it was of course the most popular line; 'Please don't kill me.' Her eyes stared at his fingers as he held them up, and for some reason the only thing that was able to enter her mind was how he would react if she would cut them off. Would he scream, cry, do nothing? Or more importantly, would she be able to? For all that she had seen from their conversation, that man was very confident like he knew for some part that he could most probably defend against her. That was... a bit irritating for some part.. and challenging for another part. This confidence of his only made her want to attack him more and more. Just so she could see what would happen. Now, if she would die, then she had at least died trying. And Satsuriku had already come to the conclusion that if she were to die, then dying from the hand of that man couldn't really be the worst death out there. The word 'partner' brought her back from her thoughts, and she actually thought to herself if she had really heard that word correctly.

Partner? He was looking for a partner, and he had her in mind? There was something about that which came a bit .. -off- for her, especially the part where having a partner required trusting someone and actually be around them a lot without killing them. Now, that would probably be .. hard. Surely enough she had thought he had a proposal for her, but not something like that. In her mind, it had been something more like an assassination or the theft of something valuable to him. But this? Felt a bit alarming to be honest. Hold on a minute though, it's not like I'm agreeing to becoming his partner or anything so no need to overthink this. It was way too early to think about it, as she was still waiting for him to give her more of information. Something she could think over, vote for or against. Use as help to decide if they would both walk out of these woods alive or only one of them.

Her own gaze met his, a deep fire lit inside of her. He didn't ask for her reasons, perhaps because he didn't care.. or perhaps he didn't want to seem pushy and risk destroying this small chat they were having in that God-forsaken little forest. If he would ask more, he would definetaly seem too pushy and he could probably tell right away that Satsuriku was far from being the patient type of person. Well if he wants to call it whore-ish, then he can go ahead. The look on her face was the one of an amused person, but she didn't comment on what he had said. For now. Besides, it seemed she had managed to amuse him even more than he did her. A puzzling man he was indeed. How come he was so casual and so forward.. so daring?

It wasn't really something that surprised her beyond that he easily caught up on her little bluff, but the rest of his words settled a bit of an uneasy feeling inside of her mind. He knew more about her than she realized? What the fuck was that supposed to mean? Michio's hand went into a pocket in his black jacket, and then retrieved a small black book. That small black book didn't look like much, but a gut wrenching feeling told Satsuriku not to take it lightly. And as most other times, her gut feeling was right about that. 'Kaguya' The word hit her at the full force of a truck. And then took a few seconds to sink deep into her mind. Now if there had ever been a moment where a glare could have actually killed, then that was that moment. Her amber eyes quite literally flared up as she found herself taking a step closer to the man in front of her. There was this.. really annoying buzzing in her ears, and it was so difficult trying to think and concentrate. Her fists clenched so hard that a cracking sound could be heard from each of her knuckles. "You.." That small word was hissed out and whatever she had almost said, was cut back as she bit her teeth even tighter together.

Michio had the advantage right at this moment, and he damned well knew it just as much as Satsuriku did now. He had had it from the moment he had seen her. No.. the moment he had gotten that book. And he had been playing her, teasing and taunting her, while having pretty much the needed info all along in the pocket of his jacket. If there was one thing Satsuriku did not enjoy, then it was this feeling like she had lost somehow in a debate or an argument. Or well, in a situation like this. I will kill him. Her lips were bit together, not allowing a word to escape, but her eyes.. those demonic eyes said everything that needed to be said. She wanted to rip his heart out and lay it down in front of his face. But.. perhaps not yet. He had something up his sleeve, something he probably gathered she wanted or was at least curious about. And Satsuriku did want to know what that was. She couldn't help but wonder where he had gotten that book though. Had he gone to Konoha and found it there? Was he perhaps actually someone who was coming after her head? No.. he wouldn't have so casually shown me the book then would he? Her pride fought against her mind, as she wanted to ask him, and yet couldn't allow herself.

She pulled back the anger, the violence which was literally just dripping down from her aura, and steadied herself. Got calm again, in control of her emotions. It was like it had never been there, that devilish and murderous glint in her eyes. She listened to his "threats", she listened closely but silently. For a reason unknown to her, she felt as if she should not take those words of his seriously, as clearly he was a bit like her. Didn't have the personality to back down, had to always play a bit further.. take one more step. But he already had gotten a step ahead. With that bloody book of his. What did it say more anyways? Oh was she about to find out. But not until he wouldn't have the matter on mind. If it was true that he intended to want her as a partner, Satsuriku guessed she would be getting plenty of chances later on to get a peek inside of that book. Illusion.. bah. She spat on illusions. She disliked that cowardly mean of fighting. What fun was it to have someone's life at your hands, and .. not do anything real to them? Surely enough it would be fun to be able to destroy someone mentally, but Satsuriku had to feel it. She had to feel the crunching of bones, feel the blood splatter in her face. See the light die out in the eyes. Just now did she notice that she had been following the movements of the book being tossed in the air a few times. She felt.. well like a cat that was about to pounce on a mouse. And it was very -very- hard for her to hit the brakes and not move from her spot again.

Well well, he doesn't mean to threaten and he doesn't mean any harm. I wonder what kind of a speech he has prepared then instead? This man was amusingly good with words, and was probably used to be able to talk his way into most things. Even Satsuriku seemed to be starting to get hypnotized a bit by his talking, being drawn a bit in. A slightly confused and even surprised look entered Satsuriku's face as the man in front of her kept talking. It sounded almost like.. kinda felt like.. did he actually say he would protect her? She tapped a finger on her chin in thought as she started turning the wheels in her head, bringing up most of the conversations she had had with others. That was, well, probably the first time in her life that anyone had offered to protect her. It felt.. weird. "So.. -you- are going to be like.. my knight in shining armor or something?" Now that was a humoring thought. "Well, just be careful you wont end up getting rescued by the damsel in distress. Or even killed by her. Maaan would that be a suckish end to the little fairy tale." A sweet, and yet poisonous smile, was cast his way as she still thought about the humoring side of his little speech. The day she would actually let anyone protect her.. well that day would probably be the day when Hell would freeze over. Or pigs flew.

Silence stretched on between them. Satsuriku didn't feel like saying anything more, and Michio was probably trying to decide on a new speech. She had never been much for talking a lot, and this would not really be any different day than usually. And besides, it seemed like she had a marathon champion in front of her when it came to talking, so she just enjoyed this small silence while wondering what more he could possibly have to say. Perhaps he was going to offer to braid her hair this time? Yes, clearly, she felt very amused by his offer of protection. Perhaps on a different day, his words would have stricken her differently, but right now she didn't really buy everything he said. Sure enough he would tell her to trust him and she would be happy and successful and blah blah. Where had she heard that before again? Oh right.. that guy who started dissecting her alive without any anesthetic. So yeah, no, she was not going to trust this guy. However yummy he was.

Another deal? Seriously? Does this man -ever- stop finding things to propose? Geez he will be trying out my ears wont he? Just for this amount of time, which was not long, in which they had been talking then it was probably the longest conversation Satsuriku had had in years. And she remembered now why she had kept it that way. Some people were just -way- too good with words. They should just be banned from existence. Or have their tongues cut out. Now that was something she could help out with. And then, it was the magic word. Food. Damn she wanted to kick him. Her stomach made a loud gurgling sound just as he had let the word out, and a slight twitch of Satsuriku's right eyebrow gave away her annoyance over that sound. Would that damn son of a bitch ever stop finding out things which were of a disadvantage to Satsuriku? Surely enough, if there was a way to keep her good, then feeding her was that way. What am I? A hungry stray cat? But even if she had wanted to thrust her small chin out while telling Michio just where he could stick that food of his, then it seemed her stomach was talking for her. "Sure. If you pay." Yes, good. Just act casual. Maybe he didn't hear the grumbling of my stomach.. even if it could have started an avalanche. Besides, she was freezing her damn butt off, and the corpses were just getting depressingly annoying to have around.

"And just so you know, I totally hate you right now." Childish or funny as it was, she just had to say it. Even her voice was filled with the stubbornness and tone of a child that had gotten it's candy stolen away from it and eaten in front of it. Wether she was meaning because of the book he possessed, or because he was seemingly keeping himself a step ahead.. or because he totally found her weak spot for food. She swiftly removed the coat he owned and threw it towards him, as she then stepped back and grabbed the hilt of her claymore before swinging it up in the air and sliding the tip of it through the hoilster on her back before she tied with her right hand the leather strip which held the big sword tightly against her back. She then continued to look over the ground, scanning out her own coat, before she grabbed it and with a small dusting movement got most of the snow off of it. She glanced at Michio and wondered if she had seen any town near the direction he mentioned, but then again, knew she hadn't been paying much attention anway.

A grin crossed her lips as she walked to him and then stopped right next to him. Michio was going to be starting the next big chapter in her life wasn't he? "That sounds very nice indeed. Now try not to fall back." With a casual movement, she put on her coat, which was by the way totally freezing and a bit wet and made her almost -almost- let out a small yelp, before she kept walking and then started gradually picking up her speed. She was a -very- fast person. Having trained endlessly and pushed the limits of her body again and again. There were not many at all which she had ever met who could compete with her speed. But she wanted to see how he would do. It would be very interesting to see how that town would fare after they two had had a -meaningful- discussion there, the little miss Reaper and the hand of the Devil. Perhaps Satsuriku would even get a fun little spar by the end of the day?
