Description/Abilities: This mask is not just a pretty thing to look at. No, no- it also serves as a way to trigger a sight based genjutsu. All the target must do is make eye contact with the mask’s various decorations and it will trigger one of Teru’s chosen genjutsu; assuming he’s already done the necessary hand seals beforehand, that is. Under bright lighting or daylight, the mask’s decorations are easy to spot thus easier to get the target’s attention. In night or dark areas, the mask’s decorations can only faintly be seen thanks to the minor little jewels embedded into them, though otherwise harder to spot.
History: Originally just a plain white mask that was worth next to nothing; it has since then become quite the valuable item to Teru. It was first given to him during one of the various parties held at the Tanaka’s estate. He thought nothing of it at the time, but when his mother insisted he joined in on the fun, he proceeded to decorate it and wear it to all sorts of events. The mask holds an expansive amount of pleasant times he had with his family; back when his mother was still around and his father wasn’t so paranoid. Since her death, he treasures it even more so. It has never been damaged, let alone broken- Teru intends to keep it like that. No one besides his mother and himself have touched it. Given the history and the boy’s attachment to it, you would not expect any other individuals handling it any time soon.

Description/Abilities: Just a plain ordinary whip with plain ordinary whip capabilities.
History: Though he won’t be the one to state it, Teru was once enthralled on the idea of participating in a circus. He was little, of course, but even now he secretly holds some fascination for it. Already having quite the amusing mask; why not add on? Thus he eventually obtained a whip. It brings no pleasant memories like his mask, but he does use it on a regular basis and continues to practice with it. Whether it’s because of the whole “circus” feel or not- he does seem rather taken with the whip.

Does this only work with sight based Genjutsu or all 5 senses? |
