The Chuunin that Blaize was leaving with sent out a messenger bird to both Blaize and Raizou. He was on a mission to help the younger genin of the village train and become stronger to develop their own ninja way. He was told to make a regiment that would help them build up physically. He had chosen to work out a regiment that was focused on speed. While he developed his plan he chooses free genin who was able to join in with the program. He knew he could count on Blaize because he was so determined to become better and he knew that with the mission freak that he is, he would surely need to focus more on honing his skills. The second genin was from a free list of genin that was not currently on a mission at this time. When he chose the two he knew that this was going to be a challenge with not knowing much of their backgrounds but if he could make a basic regiment for the two of them then he hopes that the regiment could be taught to various shinobi in the nation. In his mind the plan was layed out as he smiled as he started to bring a medium size scroll with him in the academy’s open grass field.


As he waited for the shinobi to show up he started to prepare the course. He started to unroll the scroll as he then started to unseal one of the various seals within this scroll. The seal started to make a white smoke as various cones started to land on the ground. It was about eight of them. He started to place the scroll down as he then made a hand signs. Then a shadow clone appeared to help him out with his task. The shadow clones grabbed the cones and place them on top of each other. Then he started to place two cones on the ground, 5 feet apart. Next he moved twenty feet and places two more cones down just like he did the first pair. He did this until all eight cones were placed in the ground. When that was finished the real Chuunin started to smile in his accomplishment.



The next thing the Chuunin did was unseal another seal on this scroll. The seal brought out another scroll. It was smaller than the original scroll but that is because it served a purpose. He started to lay the scroll down about 10 feet forward from the last set of cones and about 10 to 20 feet left from that position. Then he started to unroll the scroll as he then started to make a hand sign. The scroll then poofed as set of twenty large open pots started to appear, this was like the set up of tires on the ground if this was a futuristic setting. He obtained these pots after the Ramen shop purchased new set of pots. Once that was done he started to look up and watch as the scroll was in the air and flying back down. He started to capture it and then sealed it back within the medium scroll’s seal.



Once that was completed he started to move 10 feet forward and 10 to 20 feet from that position like he did when he was moving from the cones. Then he started to unseal another seal. This seal obtained another small scroll with a purpose once more. This time he unrolled the scroll and unseals the seal. This item that was in the scroll was several stop signs with the poles attached to them on the ground. There was about a dozen or so on the ground in the same format was the pots but they were separated with more distance. The set up was one stop sign on the ground. Then a few feet forward another was set up on the right about a few feet apart. Then a few feet forward another stop sign to the left side. This repeated until there were no more stop signs.



Then he started to move 10 feet forward and 20 feet from that position just like he did with the other two. Then he started to unroll the medium scroll and then started to unseal the next seal when two sticks landed on the ground. He started to pick one as his shadow clone appeared and picked the next one up. The shadow clone moved about 20 feet forward and when he was at his position both he and his clone pirced the ground with the sticks. The outlook of the course was now a full square in shape with various activities for the genin to do. Once he was done he undid his shadow clone and rolled up the medium scroll. He then started to notice someone was coming. When he turned around Blaize had just appeared as instructed to do so. He smiled as he then spoken out to his young genin friend.



“Blaize I am glad you came. I see you’re excited as ever to start your training. That is very good. I am going to help you and other genin train in speed. This obstacle course would help train you build your speed. We will get to see where you are at and move on from there to see what you need work on. I will explain everything when the next genin shows up understand Blaize?” Blaize nodded as he then started to become silent as the two of them now waited for the other genin to show up to train their speed. Hopefully with this training the Chuunin can prepare them to build up their speed and hopefully motivate them to better themselves to become splendid shinobi. He knew that to obtain this goal was going to be difficult but he liked the challenge and he also liked to help out anyone in need. If this training goes well he will also be completing a mission that his superior Jounin had given him just recently.

Raizou smiled excitedly as his alarm rang out and he slowly opened his eyes, realizing that today was the day of the training. Raizou had recieved a messenger bird earlier in the week telling him to report to the training grounds today. Raizou rolled out of his covers that were like pythons around his legs, he then shut off his alarm clock. He put on his clothes and took off towards the training grounds via the window. The cool morning air rushed past him as the ground raced towards him. A slight shiver went through his ankles as he landed the two floor drop from his window to the ground.

Raizou began walking towards the training grounds all the while thoughts of what was to come floated around his mind like humming birds. The sky was dark and cloudy.That isnt a good sign Raizou worried. He began to wonder what would happen if lightning struck where he was going to be training. Raizou shrugged and continued to trek onwards to the training grounds.

A few moments later he neared the clearing where the training ground was. He could see two figures there and a bunch of random looking stuff littered around the vast field. Raizou waved and started to jog towards the people. As he got closer to the two figures Raizou noted that the larger of the two was a ninja who wore a flack jacket.A chuunin? Raizou thought and then nodded. His gaze wandered over to the smaller of the two, he appeared to be about Raizou's age. Raizou smiled and said Hi, very eager to make new friends with a fellow konoha shinobi.

The Chuunin looked at the two genin now that they have arrived to the scene. He started to smile as his face went into a serious look as he raised his hands up to his chest, lock them together, and cracked them. He started to rest his hands to his side as he then started to speak to the two shinobi. “I am glad that everyone is here. You two have been chosen to go through my first obstacle course. This course mainly deals with what I want to teach you. What is that you may ask? Good question, the focus of this training is speed. I want to teach you guys and train your bodies to increase the speed that you guys already possess. With this I have made four stations for you to follow through. These stations will be the focus of your training for the next couple of days. The full workouts will not being until another day but today is more of learning what each one does and a training day all in one. An all day training session will be the next time we meet. For now, let me explain each of the stations.”


He started to take a pause as he looked at the young genin. He started to walk over to the first course in which the cones where set up in the first place. He started to wait until the genin followed him and when they did he started to speak. “This exercise is a simple one. What I want you to do here is run to the first cone as fast as you can. Then when you two reach the first cone turn around and walk all the way to the starting point. When you reach the starting point again run all the way to the second cone and when you do turn right back and walk to the starting point. I want you to do the same for the third and fourth cones. This is to test your speed and endurance at the same time. I want to make you guys run at different points but to walk back to the beginning. While the sprint is your training your walking back to the cone is a way for you guys to regain your strength, so to speak. Now do you guys understand this part of the exercise? When you reach the last cone and come back we can move on to the next course. Keep in mind the reasons the cones are in pairs is to separate the spaces for you and your partner. Now will you guys like to try?”



Blaize nodded as he signaled him as he wanted to try this course out himself. He knew training was important and something like speed is a skill he could really get use to. He started to stand aside next to one of the cones and then started to get ready. He began by stretching his legs and arms to warm them up for the challenge. As he waited for his partner to take his own place, he started to crack his neck a bit. Once the two of them were in position, Blaize looked up at the Chuunin. The Chuunin was standing in the middle of the second and third cones. He started to raise his hand as he spoke to the two of them. “Ready, set, Go!” As he finished saying those words he places his arms down and Blaize took the signal and started to run to the first cone. When he completed the first cone he started to jog around the cone and then jog back to the first cone. This seemed to be easy enough, something Blaize could do.

It was not until the second cone, that he understood the training. When he was running to the second cone his legs were trying to get use to the sudden changes. His legs were feeling a bit wobbly, and his lunges trying to adapt to the pace of his feet. The second cone now was over as he slowed his running and then began to jog in place all the way back to the first cones. His legs were starting to warm up feeling the burn of this exercise. His pace was starting to slower as his Chuunin mentor started to give him more words of motivation. Blaize started to close his eyes and muster up the will to continue on. Once he reaches the beginning. He started to stop and reset his form. He looked at the last stretch, the last cone. So far then the others and his body felt the burn. He started to shake his head as he was focused on his goal. He began to sprint to his last cone. He started to run and started to take more balance steps to reach the last of the cones. It took him some time but he made it to the last cone. When he did he started to jog back around the cone and then to the ending point. While he jogged he could feel his mind playing games with him. Making the trip seem longer then what it did. He started to close his eyes and continue with his will power and strive to just reach the ending. When he did this he started to feel a tug on his shirt and then he body started to be at a standstill. He opened his eyes and then noticed that his Chuunin was stopping him. He noticed that he reached the finish line. The Chuunin gave him a bottle of water to recharge himself. He then started to walk over the other genin and check on his progress.

Raizou nodded and took a deep breath, a sea of adrenaline washed over him as he looked over the course. At the signal Raizou took off in a dead sprint to the first cone, his genin training partner on his side. The cool wind entered his lungs at a fast rate, effectively drying his throat. This is easy he thought smugly and turned around at the first cone and jogged back to the starting line. As soon as his foot crossed the line he pushed off of his with all of his might, every thing seemed like a blur as he rushed to the second cone. His breathing sped and he started to feel the burning in his quads. He rounded the cone quickly and jogged back to the starting line. Raizou gritted his teeth and groaned as he struggled to keep pace with his genin training partner. The air stung his lungs so bad it was as if he had swallowed a beehive. On the fourth cone Raizou fell behind considerably, his legs burned tremendously. Sweat was dripping of of his face like a river, the distance to this last cone seemed like an eterninty. As he rounded the last cone he continued to sprint, trying to gain everything he could from this training, no matter the cost. As he crossed the finish line he stood up triumphantly and then fell to the ground, his legs no longer wanting to carry him. They ached very badly, and with every beat of his frantic heart he felt more and more acomplished. He smiled at the chuunin and then layed back into the grass looking up at the sky.

The Chuunin started to look at the other genin after he returned back from his last cone. He watched as the genin felt the feeling of accomplishment, but as soon as that happened he started to watch him fall to the ground. Concerned, the Chuunin was going to rush to the genin but he then saw that the genin extended his arms and legs to catch a relaxing break. He smiled as he then started to walk to him. Blaize just finished himself and watched as he partner rested on the ground. Blaize started to walk to the direction of his partner until he felt his legs burn, reminding him of what he had been through. Biting his lower lip he started to calm himself and catch his breath. While trying to maintain his mind he started to walk slowly in their direction. The Chuunin watched as Blaize started to walk to the other genin. He then started to speak to himself. “So they have some endurance to continue right after that four cone run. Maybe I was a bit to hard on them” He watched as Blaize returned and nodded to the Chuunin as he smiled and nodded back.



Ryuzaki Blaize started to look down at his genin partner. The feeling of the first round started to affect him as well. He smiled as he then started to lie on the ground as he started to watch the sky. He watched the clouds float by and with a moment he started to see shapes, animals really. He saw a cloud of a gliding lizard extending his arms as it slowly glided itself forward in the sky. Blaize started to speak to his partner. “That was intense was it not? So training with a Chuunin is no joke. This is just as rough as a mission.” He stopped as he heard something in the air. He started to hear a chirp and a screech as he watch a bird circle around the area. He started to look around as he then saw the Chuunin extended his arm. As he did, he started to watch as the bird started to land on the Chuunin’s arm. The Chuunin then started to take off the note from the bird. The bird raised its wings and got off of his arm and flew back to where it came from. The Chuunin read its note and then started to frown at the two genin. He then started to take out his medium scroll and then spoken. “Sorry guys we must stop the training for today. I have been summoned to do a mission and I must leave.” The Chuunin started to make a hand sign as the equipment started to disappear. Except for one, in which a scroll landed on the middle of the field and floated back into the medium size scroll. Once everything entered back into scroll, the Chuunin started to pick up his scroll and then looked at the genin. “Forgive me, everyone is dismissed”
