So, a visitor eh? I'm a ninja born and raised here! Would you like me to take you on a tour? We here in Kumo live in the high peaks of the mountains. Our whole village is built into the moutaintops. It's one of the great five ninja villages and is very old. Our kage is the Raikage who's strength always rivals the other kage's.

We are masters in the art of Kenjutsu and lightning is the most popular element specialty in our village. We've mastered techniques that no other village has before. We've mastered amazing jutsu like Lightning Armor and Black Lightning! We use our ninja's strengths to get the job done. We focus on perfecting our ninja's strengths to cover their weaknesses.

We're one of the strongest nations in military might! Since we live in the mountains we are hard to get to! Unlike Konohagakure and Iwagakure! You try bringing troops through out mountain passes! We have a lot of pride in our village and would die to defend it!

One thing you may not know about Kumo is that the Bijuu have always resided within our village. We have a long history of bijuu and we even have the place where Jinchuriki come from all over the world to train and control their bijuu. We respect many things above all respect our commanding officers. We have a strong sense of duty. All Kumogakure ninja are brought up to put honor and duty above all.

In battle we rely on speed and brute strength. Our Taijutsu rivals that of other villages. We boast about our strength of course! We're Kumogakure after all! Why should we not have pride in our village?

The members of Kumogakure have no history or ties to any Akatsuki. Something we are proud to note in our history. That does not mean we don't have criminals at all but we are proud to not have any of our cloud ninja join such a monstrous organization like the despicable Akatsuki.

Many of our villagers look like brutes to outsiders. We may seem thick headed and quick to anger, but our fury comes from pride in our village. We may seem thick headed at times but when it comes down to it someone has to stand up for what they believe in no matter what. Backing down is never a choice for the cloud village.

Normal citizens are very open. All races are tolerated in Kumogakure. More so than any nation. We tolerate people of any color, shape and size. Our Kumo citizens can be very trustworthy and loyal to our village. Friendship is also an important aspect of our daily lives. Though we may not seem like it we are very close to Konohagakure in our beliefs about friendship and teamwork.

The looks of our village are very up to date unlike villages like Kirigakure that seem to have moss growing on buildings. Our kage building is blue and shiny. Our village is very asthetically pleasing. Our village doesn't look like any other. For we don't care about traditional looks. Rather we like our village to look clean, original, and most of all intimidating. The residential area built into the mountains. Our platforms and houses are linked together by bridges and gondola's. Kumo is literally a village in the clouds. Living in such high altitudes gives our ninja an extra advantage in battle. Breathing is much more difficult in higher altitudes and for that we have more stamina than most shinobi. We fight better on our own turf and last longer than any ninja in battle.

I've described a few things to you such as our geography. Let's go into a bit more detail about our village. We get most of our economy from our miners that mine for things like gold, obsidian and diamond. We are the top village on the whole continent that has such a high economy.. As for politics all decisions lie with the Raikage and his family. The Raikage are normally born and bred to be Raikage. When they are born they must be left to tutors and learn at an early age. They are bred to be the strongest ninja in the village! Our military is one of the strongest in the world, we even rival Iwagakure! We always keep an edge on our competition and never let our military grow weak. If we did our enemies would try to take over.

Now let's explain what the land of lightning looks like better shall we? The land of lightning is a mountanous region. Our forests have many huge pines and our pine forests rival the forests of Konohagakure. Our beasts are more ravenous than the ones found in Konoha. Theirs look tame compared to ours! We are just as good of fishers as people from the land of water. Our whole country is surrounded by water though we would never be stranded. Kiri ninja are stranded during hurricane seasons and always fear the ocean but we never do. Our people would just have to leave the shores rather than fear a hurricane.

Our Laws:

Never abuse your status. You are a shinobi for the good of the country. A Raikage who took control and was unjust would be removed from office.

Foreigners must have a pass at the village gates to get into the village and must do a background check.

Missing ninja or those who have anything to do with them will be executed immediately. We do not under any circumstances tolerate criminals.

You will take your orders without fuss.

Any laws broken can either result in jailtime or immediate death.

Our Traditions:

Honor the dead but do not dwell on death. Life is more important.

A ninja must always be in top physical form.

Teams are normally split up into two to four man cells. We rely on teamwork so most ninja work with their cell for the rest of their lives.

Fight with the pride of your people!

We do not tolerate disrespect to our Jinchuriki. They are in fact a great weapon for our military.

Our Foreign Policy:

All foreign ninja must register at the gates and keep their papers on them at all times. Any ninja may ask for your identification at any given time no matter what rank.

All foreigners must live in the country for two years before becoming a citizen.

If someone does not have proper identification or is a known criminal you must contact your team or officers and bring the culprit in for questioning.

If you encounter someone who doesn't have proper I.D. you must first let them know that you must bring them in for questioning and explain that if they do not comply then they are criminals of the state.

Kumogakure does not tolerate criminals of any kind and will hunt down any enemy of the country.
